Ready to use out of the Box
I am very satisfied with this unit; it's extremely intuitive and ready to use right out of the box. I am a scuba instructor and my classroom sessions have recently evolved from using a whiteboard almost exclusively to delivering my lessons via a PowerPoint presentation, and I found very frustrating to have to constantly walk back over to the laptop to interact with it in order to progress to the next slide, or go backwards. This presentation mouse has saved me so much time and aggravation, plus I now come across as a lot more professional. Awesome product!

I like. Blackout feature may not be working. Updated Review.
August 3, 2015. Ordered on 8/1/2015 and received it on 8/3/2015. The clicker is small, love this, needs one AAA battery to operate but is not supplied. So far I have tried it out on google presentation, Smartboard presentation and Prezi, and all of them move to the next slide with the page up/down buttons. These same buttons will scroll down/up a page if you are in a word document, PDF or even on an internet page. The escape/resume button refreshes a page which might be more useful if you are on a web page. The red laser works but I will need to use it under the conditions for which it was bought for which is a classroom. Receiver fits a standard usb port and the visible part sticks out from the computer about 5/8 inch (see image - it's the topmost receiver). All of the above was done without an external monitor, so I'm not sure what to think regarding the blackout screen feature. It just does not work on my computer. Until I get to test the clicker in my classroom and an external projector, I'm knocking off some stars since the blackout screen feature is necessary for me as a teacher. Not sure if I have a defective unit but I will update. Update: 3 stars to 5 stars 8/22/2015 I contacted customer service about the dark out feature and they were super nice and sent me a replacement item. All is well now and thank you to Beboncool's great service. A+++

Small, easy to use.
This remote is small enough that it is not bulky and is easily transported, and still fits comfortably in my hands. I teach a University-level course and this connected automatically and easily to the computer. It is easy to use. The buttons are in locations that make slide transitioning easy and straightforward. Some remotes have too many buttons too close together and I have accidentally hit the wrong one. That is not an issue with this one. An added bonus is that my cat loves the laser.

It works!
To be honest, I didn't know if this would actually work for the price. I'm a teacher, so I want to be able to move around the room while using a PowerPoint. I was so happy this worked! Just plug the the little receiver into a USB port on your computer, turn on the remote, and start your PowerPoint. It works! Very pleased to find such a low cost solution! Update to review: I just wanted to add this works with other programs, too. So far, I can confirm it works with Smart Notebook, PDFs, and Prezi. Still very happy with this remote. It makes teaching so much easier because I can move around the room. Love it!

Impressed
I will be teaching over the summer, and I am planning on using PowerPoint during my lessons as they are really effective when used correctly. So I was thinking to buy a tool that would help me with my presentations, I started my research on different devices, and I found this one. The price was acceptable, and it had good reviews, so I said why not? (I have a MacBook Pro Retina display 15" for those interested) I liked the device since the first moment I opened the box! It seemed simple, and I liked the packaging. It came with a little bag to put the controller. I connected the device to my computer and immediately was working! I tested all the functions on PowerPoint, all of them worked. I have to test it on other websites, but it worked for what was intended to. It's really light, but I like it overall! Good product, hopefully it lasts a lot! Mac users: when the keyboard window opens (when you plug in the usb), just close the window and it should be working!

Good Things Do Come In Small Inexpensive Packages
I plan on doing a public Power Point presentation in a couple of months and just started to work on it. I didn't have a remote clicker so I did a search for that on Amazon and found the Beboncool PowerPoint PPT Presenter Remote Control Laser Pointer Pen for only $15.59. No way! I ordered it immediately on Prime and had it in two days. What a steal! Beautifully packaged, including a nice pouch. The USB dongle is kept next to the single AAA battery inside a compartment. (Battery not included) Just open the compartment, take out the dongle, plug it into any USB port. Turn on the remote, push the little connect button and launch Power Point. It's that easy! You can remotely switch from desktop mode to full screen. It even has a very nice built-in laser pointer! All this for under $16 shipped! I am super pleased. By the way, I am using this with the Windows 10 upgrade. It works flawlessly. Do yourself a favor. If you need a Power Point remote, you will love this. See the attached photos.

Was great while it lasted. Failed after 9 months of use. Seller immediately replaced it at no charge.
I really liked the product and used it effectively in my lectures. But after 9 months it has stopped working entirely. I've poked and prodded at the connections and tried a few batteries to no avail. Again, it's a good product when it works, but I think a 9-month life-cycle is short even for electronics. And given the reliability issues, if I were to buy it again I'd have to buy two of them to make sure I had a backup in case the first failed during an important presentation. Price matters, and they're selling them at a great price, but reliability also matters. Edit: They sent me a new unit at no charge. Very good customer service. I'm hoping the failure of the first unit was just bad luck. Will update this review if this isn't the case. In the meantime, I'm very pleased with the seller--if you have an issue, contact them.

Works Great
Oh, this works great! Don't let the price fool you. I wanted a backup presentation remote to keep in my travel bag as it seems Murphy's law follows me. I saw this and it appeared almost exact, and about twice the price, of the "L" brand remote I have. Took the plunge and very happy with this little bugger. It works great so far on my Dell Lattitude E6530, Surface Book, and MacBook Pro 2011. At about $14 I don't' worry about it getting broken in my checked bag as well.

It works good with power point
It works good with power point. I have power point installed in my Surface tablet. The tablet is connect to the LED projector. The USB Dongle is located inside the clicker in the battery holder. I installed one AAA battery for the clicker. The laser Pointer worked right away. Installation- I stuck the daggle that came with it in the usb port of my Microsoft surface 1.tablet. Pressed the connect button on the back it worked. The donge has a light on it too. The light let's you know that the dongle is properly connected to the tablet and the clicker. I can wander around the room and the clicker still works from any location. I try to use it on my laptop that doesn't have power point. It does not work as a remote mouse. Nothing Happen. I will play with it some more. But I am all set for my presentation tonight. If I can make it work as a mouse I will post it here later...

This clicker is the perfect size with more buttons than I needed
This clicker is the perfect size with more buttons than I needed, but as soon as I was presenting, I appreciated. It took almost zero effort to configure the product to my computer and does exactly what I expected, making this purchase seem mindless. The material is a nice material that is almost addictive to hold, which is beneficial to me because I enjoy fidgeting with my hands during a presentation, and this helped refocus my body language.
