Nice Clean Label with Great Adhesive Power
I've had this labeler over 10 years and never knew they made a clear tape. It's great to label items in clear baggies and spices that I buy in bulk and put in clear shaker bottles. They stick better than the white ones I've been using and it has a cleaner look being clear when that's needed.

crisp print and durable labels
I've been meaning to upgrade my old Brother P-touch labeller, but it is still going strong after about 6 years of regular use, so why interrupt a good thing? The only issue has been that the replacement tapes are expensive. However, as I recently found to my delight, Amazon's price is about half what I would pay at a big office supply store in my town. The roll of labels has about 26 feet of tape, and at about 3" per label, that works out to a cost of just under 5 cents per label. I think that's reasonable for a long-lasting label, and if you buy the tapes in packages of 2, it would be even less. Of course, one could use paper labels generated on a computer, and if you have a lot of file folders to label, that would certainly be faster. The great point about these labels is that they work so well on glass, wood, and shiny surfaces, and they peel off without leaving a residue when you're ready to change the label. On paper (such as file folders), they stick fast and don't peel off; you need to just place another one over the original one when you change topics for the file. As for the difficulty of peeling the backing off, which other writers have noted was a drawback, I find that it's not hard as long as you peel from the CORNER first. If you have a fingernail to do this, perfect; if not, a sharp edge, such as a knife or letter opener would do the job. Once you get used to starting at the corner, there's never a problem peeling off the backing. I love these labels for spice jars, files, warranty dates on gadgets, labels on cords, and all sorts of uses around the house. Since you get about 100 labels per roll (at 3" each), a roll goes pretty far. There are several colors and different widths. I like the half-inch tape, which takes any of the 5 sizes of print generated by my labeller very well. The print is very crisp and visible from several feet away. A good product, all in all!

Simple Ways to Get Organized
I'm a labeler. It's not obsessive. I don't mark the door, or window, or anything crazy like that, but when I found myself opening lots of boxes of materials in the design room to find an item, I knew it was time for labels. When I purchase my herbs and spices in bulk because they are so much fresher, the labels are the simple answer for insuring I grab the right bottle quickly. And when I opened the opaque kitchen tub the third time to see what I had stored in it, I put a label on it. Sometimes I go beyond the obvious (labels on binders) to the more creative...I've got six inspiring reminders and quotes printed out and adhered to the frame of my computer screen... "How's your posture?" "Yes! I can!" "If you are feeling blue, start breathing again." I kid you not! The uses for my labeling gun and tapes are only as limited as my imagination. This is a definite "go to" tool!

I've Been Using for Years
The product came in the factory sealed packaging. I have owned the Brother P-touch PT-65 for many years now and I love it. I am so much more organized. But this is about the tape. I use this tape on everything - file folders, plastic containers, metal, cardboard, everything except I don't think I've ever put it on wood. The most difficult thing is peeling the label from the backing. Some days it's easy, some days not so much. The key is to gently rub the pad of your thumb over the edge of a corner of the tape. Usually this separates the tape from the backing enough to peel it off. The tape sticks very well - I've even washed over the labels several times before it started to peel up on the corners - but it also peels off easily except from paper. It always seems a little expensive to me but one cartridge lasts forever.

QUALITY BROTHER LABEL STOCK FOR GREAT PRICE
Great to be able to order my favorite label tape from Amazon. No more driving to the office supply store. Great price too. I'm constantly labeling things in my recording studio. I use this tape to label patch bays where you have very little space for label. I like this material because I can peel it back off a piece of equipment without leaving a bunch of sticky residue. I also like how tiny I can print on this tape and yet it stays readable. I have four of the little green Brother hobby labelers that I've used for going on 20 years. Amazon is keeping me stocked up with label material so I can keep on labeling. Happy labeling to all!

High quality product at a great price.
High quality product at a great price. If you buy it in the store it is so much more, yet the product is the same. You can buy two for the price of one when you buy here on Amazon. No brainer for me. I bought one in the store the day before, ran out of it, and then bought three on Amazon and so no difference other than I save so much using Amazon. I am on my second roll.

Awesome!
SO perfect - I am glad that I found this on here. I ran out of tape and couldn't find it anywhere since Office Depot and Staples have all closed up by me. I prefer the white tape because I label all of the light switches in my house so that my kids know what switch is for what and I am going to label the back of out Firestick remotes now so that we know which remote belongs in what room.

Fast, and convenient
Pros Small, easy to use, Lots of styles and can go from small to large type. Photo shows the smallest...looks like 6pt type. I use it primarily to keep all my keys straight for different apartments and locations and also for mailbox labels. Cons Labels automatically have a space on the left and right when printing, looks like 1/4 inch so wasteful. If I could cut it shorter my label roll would last longer. My workaround is just doing a series of items and putting in 2 spaces in between. Saves money and label paper! Lowdown Would buy again. Has saved me lots of time and has kept chaotic Life more organized.

Still going strong and saved in rear end collision when driver faked having witnesses
If it weren't for the camera, even thought it was pointing forward, I may have been up the creek. Other driver hit me from behind but was claiming I stopped on purpose for no reason. Video proved otherwise. A must-have, even if you don't think you'll need it. Insurance against bad people. Also, getting the capacitor version was best for hot climates and have not had any issues with batteries going bad, etc. So a good choice all around. Am pleased with the purchase.

Labels are a staple in my house
I am a labelling fool - there are a few applications where the labels don't last, but they are few and far between. I have one in my Brother P-touch, a spare ready to go and I buy a replacement when I use the spare. Amazon makes buying the same thing painless - cause they have purchase history. The vendor makes the rest painless by supplying a high quality product. My lastest life hack is property stenciling - make a label with your driver's license number, put the label somewhere inconspicuous and then use an etching tool to engrave the number - destroying the label in the process - works like a charm
