First one purchased May 2008 & still in great condition

Originally purchased May 2008 and back to buy second deck box 10 years later as a companion piece for extra cushions. Despite constant exposure to all elements the original deck box has never leaked nor cracked; has weathered well. Despite not being pretty much neglected all season, surface cleans up well. Size is adequate to hold 6 wrought iron tall back plush cushions and bench cushion. Highly recommended.

This was a great purchase for outside storage

This was a great purchase for outside storage. It was simple to assemble and looks nice- it does look plastic but not tacky. It's big enough to hold everything I need to store- a blower, a garden hose, a shrub trimmer, some pots/planters, dog shampoo and bird seed. And, the best part is that you can just hose it down for cleaning.

The Perfect Package Box

I purchased this deck box to use as a package delivery box for my porch. Our porch is very visible from the road, leaving us concerned about package theft. With this box packages remain hidden away, requiring someone to actually come up to the porch and check, which we think will dramatically reduce the odds of opportunistic theft. It is not secured to anything and does not have a lock, but that was not our intent when we purchased it. I picked up a sign (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GDHSLF5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which has been a huge factor in the delivery people using it. About 95% of our packages now make it into the box. I also added a cabinet drawer handle that I picked up from the hardware store. This deck box has been perfect for our needs and I highly recommend it!

Works very well for what it is designed for

Bought this to be able to put my child's outdoor toys inside (this is located on my porch). It is made of a hard plastic but yet still flexible, sturdy enough for 250 lbs. to sit on and easy to open for my 2 year old to open the lid herself, grab her toys and close. Was very easy to put together - my 2 year old was very excited to have helped handing me the plastic pieces for me to install :) .This DOES keep the rain out but BEWARE of over-stuffing; if you put too much inside the sides will bulge out exposed to the rain/outdoor elements which we did have things get wet in this case. If you are looking for a durable storage bin and with it an extra bench for one person (it holds 250 lbs. but I wouldn't put any more weight on top in my opinion I highly recommend this product.

Very well made. EASY assembly.

This is a great storage box and was extremely easy to assemble. I am actually using it for a dropbox for delivery services; US Mail, UPS, FedEx, etc.. I added a handle to the box and a sign to instruct the delivery person to place packages inside the box. So far, the box has stayed completely dry inside. The box is located on my porch but is not completely shielded from blowing rain.

So many possibilities for this handy storage bin.

Really nice, well built and sturdy when assembled. I have a ferrel cat colony on my property. We turned this into winter home for them. Once we lined with insulation and added a couple cat doors, I gotta believe some house cats don't have it so good. Great storage box, I can see multiple uses for this baby... I'd buy many more of these, the possibilities are endless.

Easy Peasy!

Received it yesterday, studied it awhile to decide whether to call my handyman, then gave it a try myself (old lady, over 80). In 15 minutes following the easy instructions I had it together, but was stymied when I could get only the first lid hinge connected. Called help line, had to hold a long time. The young woman who answered took a while to research it, & finally said I should sit on it to connect the other 2 hinges, one at a time. I was dubious, but it actually worked. Though lightweight the box is quite sturdy, a nice light beige color, and I am sure it will store bird food and supplies well on my open lanai.

Working as intended, good product.

Easy construction, when constructed (correctly) it seems solid and water resistant for the most part. I don't think anything is water (proof) like these people are complaining about. It keeps rain / snow out. But if you're going to get a hurricane or plan to leave this outside without upkeep for 2 years and expect the inside to be bone dry, then that's on you, not the product. To ensure it stayed water tight I took a little flex shot and did a trim of it around the bottom and perimeter seals.

Sturdy, Super Fast Assembly, and Useful

I needed two storage containers, one for the garage and one on the back patio for yard items. I was tired of walking to the shed for bird seed and gardening tools. I wanted containers that looked nice and easy to assemble. I ordered these. The hardest part was opening the box they came in. The instructions were easy to follow and I had the first put together in six minutes! It looked great, I had the second one together in about 4 minutes. Both are light weight to handle, but are very sturdy. The one on the bak patio withstood 60 mile an hour winds, hail, and rain, I sit on it often while working. I truly like these. The one in the garage I use for cat litter and other items. This makes the garage look so much nicer. The prices were good and I recommend these.

Truly all weather even in -50F snow storms

I bought this box last fall to keep our deck sundries in it. We accidentally forgot some bird feed and firewood in the box. I had given up on them through our severe Iowa snow storms. Howeve, this swing when my husband opened the box with intentions to clean it - it looked untouched and same as we had closed it six months ago. Not a drop of moisture in the box!! I am waiting to buy another one, preferably in a larger size.
