This is a very high quality cable. I use it to plug in my travel trailer when home and it never gets even warm even when running the A/C. It has a nice feature where the ends light up making it easy to find at night.

This is a great cord. I had to replace one that had gotten nicked and was tripping the GFCI. This is heavy duty, well made and as long as the insulation does not get nicked a fine extension cord. This is not your cheap foreign made cord, but rather made in the USA of good materials. You will be pleased with this cord.

Nice heavy duty outdoor extension cord. I needed this for a leave blower to reach the further areas of my yard. It worked great for the several hours I used it along with a 100 footer (I needed about 130' total....which Toro said is for as long as the gauge is sufficient).

I hope I am not speaking too soon since I haven't had this for very long or used it much; but, this extension cord is identical to the Woods brand and others which cost twice as much; it looks and feels exactly the same as the more expensive ones.

Well made and works. I'm using it for other purposes by hacking it into 3 pieces for 3 manageable 12ga extension cables. The individual copper wires seems a bit thinner than what I've seen in other 12 gauge stranded wires, but it wasn't meant to be hacked up either. Only 1 end lights up even though both ends are clear. Nice feature if you want it.

Bought this extension cord for use with an electric leaf blower in September, 2018, and was so impressed I ended up buying a second one! I was looking for a cable that could stand up to heavy outdoor use, and deliver full power to the blower, even when connected to an additional cords. Pro's: - Made in the USA - Power indicating plugs (clear end plugs glow when plugged-in) - Excellent durability and quality - Highly visible color Con's/Things of which to be aware: - Heavy (unavoidable, due to the length & thick gauge of the cable) - Unruly & easily tangled (again, due to length/weight of cord, not a flaw of the product) I bought a QuickWinder reel to carry and store the extension cord, which solved the tangle problem. This one's built to last!

Pretty heavy duty cord, must weigh about 15 pounds, maybe more. Bought it to run both my 10 amp Ryobi string trimmer and my 10 amp Greenworks dethatcher. The lighted ends are difficult to see outdoors, FYI. If you want 100 foot of cord to power 10 amp devices, this is as small gauge as you can go. More than 10 amps on 100 feet and you'll need the 10 gauge, which will cost you about double this one.

I ordered Southwire because it is Made in USA, what I received was a made in China brand. After contacting Southwire, they informed me they were aware of some orders getting shipped with China product. They have made it right with me. USA made cord is great quality, nice heavy cord that remains flexible in all but the worst conditions. I live in North Dakota, at -20 no cord is flexible!!

The cord I got matched the description exactly down to the packaging. I can't find anything on the cord itself that says where it's made but the cardboard wrapping matches the website exactly. It's a 12 gauge extension cord with yellow insulation. About what I expected. I have used this a couple of times and it works fine; plugs fit fine and no overheating at the connections. I'm not overly chuffed about the cord connectors but time will tell. I'm not using this in construction and yanking or otherwise throwing cords around. I considered buying the contractor grade cord for a few dollars more but there's probably little difference except the color. From reading the reviews I have no doubt that some people didn't get what they were expecting but you have to be careful reading reviews. Often times the reviews are for completely different products. Amazon seems to mix things up quite a bit and sometimes people just leave reviews for the wrong product. Just saying. Also, I wouldn't try wrapping this cord by hand because this cord will get twisted easily. Instead invest in a cord reel. There are also videos on the proper way to wind a cord but I can't attest to it.

Works great for me. I have a 6.7 Powerstroke Diesel with the built in heater block. This runs from my single outside outlet out to the truck in the driveway. No issues with heat buildup or problems associated with long distances of extension cord. This works fine, and replaced an extension cord that was misplaced somehow, which was 3x as much in a big-box store. This thing works great for what I need it for. I use it every night, and it does the job. I have read that the draw is a little over 1000 watts.
