Smoke-free 2013
This is a great system. Granted I'm smoke-free after my third attempt at using the patches, but they do work great. I didn't really follow the instructions by the book the first few times (ok...I didn't really wanna quit the first few times). But if you're motivated and want to stop, these work. They do induce a moderate amount of local irritation/hyperpigmentation/skin thinning, but resolves quickly once the patches are stopped. Best results with a multi-faceted approach.

My husband is now a non-smoker :)
My husband successfully quit with step 2 and step 3! He followed the 8 week program (6 weeks with step 2, 2 weeks with step 3). He was a pack-a-day smoker for 4 years, too! He was definitely in the right mind set when he began, though. If you are sick of smoking and ready to quit, these may help. Chewing mint gum along with it is also helpful. By the end of the box of the step 3, he was done. He didn't even finish using every single patch. He has been smoke-free for a year and 3 months now and has no interest in smoking again! Happy wife here :)

They work and they're worth it
As advertised, and I saved about 30% over purchasing in the store. These patches plus some good old-fashioned willpower are extremely effective at kicking the habit. I have been cig-free for over 2 months now after 15 years of smoking a pack a day. I rarely get any kind of cravings anymore. I didn't find that I needed to continue using these as long as they direct you to do so, but everyone will be different in that regard. I used 1 box of each step (2 weeks worth) and by step 3, I only ended up using half the box before I stopped the patch all together. So far so good!

The Smokeless Journey ( Title for my novel, life story, etc...)
I started my smoke free journey almost 3 months ago. I wasn't too sure if this would work because i started smoking when i was 13. I am now 24 married, my wife and i are having our first kid. I wanted to quit because i didn't want to be controlled by an addiction anymore. I could've cared less about the price, health risk, or the smoking bans. I pretty much smoked a pack a day and decided for to start with step 2 because reviews i saw that said step 3 was very strong. I recommend if you can go 2 hours without smoking then try step 2. I have tried to quit before using hypnosis, electric cigarettes, and just quitting cold turkey. Nothing has ever worked but i also wasn't quitting for the right reasons i was quitting for other people. You have to truly want to quit to quit successfully. I was very surprised that it does knock down the cravings. You still have them they are just a lot weaker and can be ignored. I was doing so good the first week(I even threw a full pack away)then the last day of the week came. I couldn't concentrate, I was over stressed at work(I am the boss by the way), and my employees were testing my patience. I had a weak point and smoked a cigarette. At first it felt good, then i realized i just screwed myself over by giving in. I was so depressed that day i tried my hardest not to smoke, but I broke down and had one anyway. I thought the whole process had to halt just because i smoked. The next day i decided to stick with it mostly because cigarettes tasted like crap after a week without smoking(you wouldn't think it would only take a week, but it did). I smoked two more times(a week between each time). I realized the three things that were going to help me quit 1.) THE TASTE for a smoker i loved the taste of a cigarette especially with a beer. After a week it tasted like someone poured an ashtray in my mouth. 2.) IGNORE IT find a new hobby trust me you can find one real easy when trying to keep your mind off smoking. 3.) I hated this one DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL trust me(I even went without drinking beer on the super bowl, i drank liquor though. I crave a cigarette the most when i drink beer i could smoke three packs in a night when drank a lot of beer. I only drink heavy like maybe twice a month because of work. The point is figure out what your weaknesses are avoid them, then gradually come back to them. Trust me i celebrated two days after my last patch with a lot of beer. Cravings do not go away after i finished the patch i started to realize that they never go away you were just building your mental resistance to them. The BIGGEST thing to remember is THEY GO AWAY if YOU IGNORE them. I have an addicting personality so if i can do it anybody can do it. Alright i am done writing my novel.

Great Nicotine Patch!!! Highly Recommend! LOVE
First, I did not realize that these are CLEAR and can be worn with a bathing suit or a short sleeve shirt. They stay on BETTER than other nicotine patches sold and they DO NOT CAUSE ANY SKIN IRRITATION - my two problems with other nicotine patches. Try these, you will love them.

I would still be a smoker if I hadn't given these a chance. These were a life saver.
I honestly would recommend to anyone who wants to give up smoking to give these a try. They really do make the process almost effortless.

You can do it, this will help!
So if you are like me and wanted to quit smoking but maybe were not a heavy smoker, it might be better to start with the step 2. If you smoke a pack a day...you would go with the step 1. Simply put, you have to want to quit smoking for anything to work. I didn't like the gum and smoking a vaporizer isn't breaking yourself of the action of smoking, let's face it. If you are using a vaporizer you will most likely go back to smoking because you don't break the stimulus activity of putting the cigarette to your mouth. My opinion of course. So, the nice thing for me was that I could put one on my arm and I didn't feel like smoking at all. Sure the mental craving is going to be prevalent at first but it goes away quickly if you just remember why you are quitting smoking to begin with. The craving become less and less over 2 weeks you should be good. I have pretty strong will power and was able to quit after just using the patch for a week then toughing it out. Everyone will have different amounts of willpower. Just keep going!! it does get easier and you can eventually ween yourself off the patch. I would say sooner than later would be better. Hope this helps. Battle each craving in your head!
