I made the mistake of falling into the trap of buy some Chinese goggles a couple of years ago, and greatly regretted it. Those goggles were actually sharp on the bottom of the connector piece on the bridge of the nose, and had my son or daughter swatted the goggles, they probably would have cut the skin - they were that sharp. They also leaked continuously. I bought them at the time based on their rating, but have since been able to figure out that if you consider buying any Chinese product, you bet read they 1-star ratings first, because all the five-star ratings are written with poor English and are obviously fake. I'm at a point now where if a product has a Chinese brand name, I'll look somewhere else. These guys seem to make products that are never "quite right" and usually fail well before they should. I used the Hydrospex for the first time this past weekend, and aside from some partial lens fogging, they worked flawlessly. They were comfortable and didn't leak one drop of water. So, inexpensive, and they work. What more do you need in a goggle? For anyone seeking a good pair of swim goggles, this is a non-brainer. Highly recommended.

I lap swim 1-3x/week, 1000-2000yd each time. When I first started my swimming routine, I bought these goggles. I loved them- they fit well, didn't leak, and didn't fog too badly. However, with constant use, they got scratched up, and I decided to try something new just for the heck of it. I have been through Speedo Vanquisher goggles, two pairs of Kayenne goggles, and Cressi Flash goggles, and I have hated them all. -The Vanquishers fog quickly, are not easy to adjust, and the lenses are small. -The Kaynnes are nice in theory, but underwater, they make your vision super blurry (hence, the two pairs- I returned the first to see if it was a fluke, but both pairs did the same thing). -I found that the Cressi, which are super similar to the Kayennes, make vision somewhat blurry (but not as bad as the Kayenne) and leak a lot. Hence, I have a new pair of Hydrospex goggles sitting in my Amazon shopping cart, and I am about to purchase a new pair, because they truly have been the best goggles I've used so far.

i have been a competitive and recreational swimmer for 65 years and have bought just about every goggle ever made. this is the first, and only, goggle that is fully comfortable, doesn't have to be drawn tight to your head, and where you have more peripheral vision than seems possible. i just bought a second pair in case they change the design. (always wash your goggles with ivory dish soap immediately after swimming and rinse thoroughly. this is the only way to get the pool chemicals off and your goggles will be clear and last long.)

These goggles are terrific. I'm a recreational swimmer ( 2 x week) and I appreciate that these are one mold and the nose bridge is soft (not like other goggles where the nose bridge digs into your skin). I recommend them highly and get the Smoke Ice color lenses for those sunny swim days

I'm very happy with my new swimming goggles. They fit well, keep out the water and I can see well in the water. Considering that I usually wear glasses, I was amazed at how well I can see under water. I did get the clear version so that I could get as much light as possible. I know that you can buy cheaper Speedo versions at some stores, but the price is right and comfort is a big thing for me.

I'm a fairly small person (5'3" 130lbs) with fairly small features. These are incredibly comfortable and they don't make me look like a raccoon after wearing them for 45 minutes of lap-swimming at the indoor 25m pool. These can't be beat for the price. They did fog up after about 5 minutes, but cleared about 3-4 minutes after. Just adjusting to my body temp and pool temp, I guess. I never expected them to clear without me having to do anything, so this is a bonus!

One of the better pairs of swim goggles I've owned. I bought the tinted smoke gray color and they are quite heavily tinted but still fine for indoor swimming pools. Although they are well constructed and fit very comfortably they're still very light. I've kept the goggles in the case they came in when not using them and over the past 6 months they've remained scratch free. The anti-fog protection still works fine despite everyday use in a saltwater pool. I rinse them in fresh water after every use--no other special care.

Best. Goggles. Ever! My wife and I are triathletes, and swim 2,500-3,000 yards 2-5 times/week. We have been using these goggles for several years - A plea to Speedo - PLEASE NEVER DISCONTINUE THESE GOGGLES! The biggest problem with OTHER goggles - leakage! These goggles are soft all around the eye socket, and conform to most facial features, my wife, me and our 12 year old son all use them. I swim in my contact lenses - never any leakage! The goggles generally last for about 12 months - we usually lose a pair before they wear out. I have given the Hydrospex goggles as gifts! Don't delay, buy a pair today!

I bought these for my 11 year old son and a bought a pair of the speedo junior hydrospex for my 8 year old son. During the winter they are on swim team and practice indoors so not having the tint/shaded lens work better, they are not constantly removing them to see what the instructor is demonstrating. They do not fog up even after an hour in the pool. No complaints about leaking so the fit is just right. The dual strapping keeps the goggles in place for when they dive into the pool and when they are just messing around. They keep them in the plastic case/packaging so they can just throw them in their swim bag and not worry about scratching or breaking them. Speedo Hydrospex Swim Goggle

Work very well. No leaks. Comfortable and adjust easily. I was worried the smoke ice color would be too dark, but it is not; in fact, if anything, I wish they were tinted slightly darker for outdoor use. I haven't used them indoors, but perhaps the tint would be ideal indoors. Appear well made, too. Highly recommend. I bought these for myself and have used them about 5 times. Adult sized.
