My daughter was cutting with scissors since she was barely able to walk and was was very good by three years old. When she was old enough to know about pretty things and colors she really wanted pink scissors. We got these and they work fine, but best of all she loves the color. We got another for school because it was on the school supply list but when she got there her teacher had plenty so she brought it back now she two of here favorite scissors in pink. We keep misplacing our adult scissors so we 'borrow' one of hers often because she is really good about keeping her supplies in order.

I ordered 3 of them but wish I had ordered 4 so that my 3 kids can each have one at home and my daughter can have an extra one for school when she starts kindergarten. We received a green, purple, and pink.

They go nicely in a sewing kit. I was making needle cases for family and friends. Wanted to add extras that didn't cost a fortune. I added a pocket but didn't want to have to worry about the point of the scissors going through the material. Tried these hoping they'd still be sharp enough to cut. They are. Even had one of my sisters comment on how well they cut.

I have these in my breast pump bag to cut my pump wipes in half to make the pack last longer. These scissors are a great, convenient size. They are surprisingly sharp and are easy to use even though I have big hands. I am very happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend these.

We have a five-year-old, and she loves art projects. We’ve had a couple of different pairs of scissors, and stumbled on these accidentally, when a friend let us borrow them. We love them so much that she let us keep them! I decided to buy more, so that we would have multiples around the house. They really are perfect for beginning artists!

My son is four and as a four year old boy, he is kind of a terror when you give him a pair of scissors. He wants to cut everything. But these are safe. He has had them for months now and never pinched himself, never been able to cut something he shouldnt (mainly his clothes or the like). They work perfect on our paper art projects and I feel safe with him using them, despite his tendency to want to be more crazy than he should.

These are perfect for my three-year-old who is just learning to use scissors. The size is right and they cut well. But they're also large enough that I can comfortably use a pair to show him what to do. And you can't beat the price!

As a former kindergarten teacher of 25 years, Fiskars are the scissors to buy. For ages 5 and up I prefer the pointed tip, but I bought these for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. I also bought another brand of plastic safety scissors, but just incase I bought these blunt tip as well. I was right. The plastic just frustrated us both. These are sharp, and should only be used with supervised cutting with a young child. But I remained convinced Fiskars are the best.

I bought these for trimming my small dog and they work quite well for that. The rounded tips are nice as they will not puncture her if she isn't happy while getting trimmed. They are small but sold for children so I can't complain. I can still use them despite my large hands. Only downside is the lack of color selection. I received hot pink which goes with my female dog, not so much with me. Quality is what I have come to expect from Fiskars.

My mom is an elementary school teacher and she requests Fiskars brand scissors-as do all my kids' teachers! They work the best, are easy to hold and control, and work well. I've bought a few other brands (generic office supply store brands, other brand on amazon) and always go back to Fiskars.
