Excellent product; Fast Delivery
Easy to assemble, strongly made. Did not need instruction to assemble. Bottom boards are a tad short. But scotch tape holds them in place. I use them for permanent arquives stored in bankers boxes. Only complaint is they only come in one color. Very fast shipping. Five stars.

Excellent value for the money.
These folders did what I purchased them for, so I'm happy. Another person noted in their review how 'shoddy' the quality of this brand has become. I compared these to some Pendaflex folders I've had for nearly 15 years, and couldn't note any significant differences. The paper of the new ones seems a little softer, but isn't any thinner than the old ones. The company is using more recycled paper now, which may account for that. The metal tabs do appear to bend easier than the old ones, but as long as you don't overload your folders (and they're properly supported in the file cabinet), this shouldn't be a problem. Pendaflex still makes a quality product for a fair price.

Very pleased - just what I needed
These file folders are sturdily made. For those who had issues with getting the pocket at the bottom to work well - it is very helpful if you use something to hold a straight edge (a ruler will work well) along the fold line on each side of the bottom then fold up to create crease. Once you have it creased in those two spots, place the bottom support piece under the tabs and you are done. The tabs themselves are a bit lighter weight than the older ones I had, but unless you change them around a lot, they should still last a pretty long time.

It's Pendaflex - what's not to love?
Pendaflex folders are well-constructed - no glued-down top edges that prevent inserting tabs, as is common in cheaper brands. The 1" hanging folders will hold a number of manila folders, depending on the contents. I plan to buy a package of assorted sizes, as well, to hold fat manila folders.

Great folders if your regular ones are too full.
I work in an insurance office and some of our files get way too full for what they were intended for. Some of our clients have tons of paperwork we have to keep on file so these were a lifesaver to help organize their files. They are very sturdy and strong and worked perfectly for us. I will definitely order more when I need them.

Excellent quality. When I read some off the reviews
Excellent quality. When I read some off the reviews, I was nervous because they said not well made. These are reinforced on the bottom at width, the inserts are of thick cardboard which slide under two tabs to hold in place. I set them up yesterday - heavy books. loose leaf binders and file records. Metal tabs to hold on rack were sturdy. I think these are the same quality you will find in your local office supply store and they will cost more. I believe you will be happy with these folders if you need 2" size. I will order these again if I find I need more.

Works great.
Exactly what I've been needing to add to my filing cabinet. I have to folders that grew over time with receipts and manuals. Ended up getting to heavy and breaking them. So now I have these and should help. Has a little rectangle cardboard piece that inserts into a little tab on each side of the bottom to keep it square. Works great.

Don't believe what you read
The product is very good and handles those "fat files" in your filing cabinet. I was hesitant to purchase the product because the "Technical Details" was the result of sloppy work by the person who writes those technical details. In the "technical details" section, it goes on to say that the folders were for "legal size" which contradicted the Amazon part description. The "Technical Details" also stated 2-inch capacity and I wanted 3-inch capacity. I had to go to the Pendaflex website and look up the part number to make sure that I was ordering the 3" non-legal-sized folder, which was what I had wanted. I am unsure if this was an Amazon editor's error or a Pendaflex editor's error. But it was misinformation at best and the worst case situation of "cut and paste". Amazon almost lost a sale.

These are perfect for my needs.
I have always trusted the Pendaflex brand file folders and hanging folders. These are no exception. The squared off bottom allows larger files to fit inside better than they fit inside V bottomed hanging files. My larger file folders slip down inside and do not peek out of the top. This is very important as some of my files 1 1/2 inches thick. These files were sticking at the top of my filing drawers and causing jams. My filing drawers are old and have enough trouble to open and close without needing to adding files jamming in the top of the drawers to the mix. These hanging folders are easy to use and do not have the accordion pleats on the sides that can hang on the edges of files. There is a small piece of thicker paper in the bottom of each hanging folder that helps to keep the bottom of it open so that I can easily drop each file into place. When not in use, or with thinner files, they can be compressed to take up less space in my file drawers without jamming or breaking. The small tab at the top of each allows me to further note which file goes into that folder. This can make it easier for assistants to file correctly. (Whatever they are teaching in school, it is not how to file alphabetically! Add to the mix that some of my files are not filed alphabetically, and that tiny tab is a help to keep my drawers organized.) The hooks fit along the rails and glide effortlessly.

Awesome capacity! Very helpful and sturdy!
I love these extra capacity folders. They work great for my home office. Having a disabled husband, keeping track of all of his medical paperwork (which is hefty), these folders hold up well for the large mounds of paperwork/medical history. They come with thick smooth cardboard inserts that are placed in the bottom with little tabs that hold it in place, giving the folder the reinforcement it needs to not collapse under a large stack of paper. My only wish was that these could be even wider, but they work great for holding over 150 sheets of paper, including extra manila file folders. Will definitely be purchasing more of these as my filing requires.
