My middle son had been asking for scented markers for a while. So for his 9th birthday I bought him these and a drawing pad. Both he and his 11 year old brother love these markers. My 9 year old drew me a picture and brought it to me to smell and I was instantly taken back to my childhood! As I closed my eyes I was 6 years old again! Very pleased with this purchase. So many things my husband and I remember from our childhood have changed to a much lower/cheaper quality item when we buy them for our boys, but these markers were just as we remembered. Warning: Your kids will be walking around with marker under their nose for DAYS from sniffing the markers!

This case of 192 Mr. Sketch markers were on a one-day sale for just under $73 dollars. We reached out to my kid's teacher (2nd Grade) to ask if she would like a case for the classroom. The teacher agreed that it would be a good option for Friday Funday. Well, her teacher wrote us and thanked us for such a big donation to her class and how amazing it will be as an incentive for them to complete their work. Us adults, of course, sat around smelling the markers when they first arrived and they were JUST like I remembered. (The 80s/90s were so much fun, lol.) If you're on the fence I am here to push you over. YOU NEED THESE MARKERS.

Love love love Mr Sketch! I would not recommend these as highlighters, ecxept the yellow, they're bright but pretty dark. As a teacher, I use these all the time for charts and signs and often buy them as gifts for colleagues. The scents in this pack are good, although sometimes in their zeal to be unique, some of the scents are not the best. The colors are bold and bright. The pinks do fade pretty quickly, but the others hold up well. The ink does bleed through to the back of the paper, but it won't mark up the next paper underneath.

I bought a set of these to use for anchor charts at school. I love them because they write nicely and the ink lasts a long time. My students love the smell when we are using them together. Most of the markers lasted the whole school year and then some. A couple started to dry towards the end of the school year, but those were the colors I used a lot. Warning though, that the pink ones fade on chart paper if you are leaving a poster up in your classroom for a while. The other colors hold well though, even if you leave your chart up for the whole year.

The most anticipated order I have ever placed on this website. Holy heck the entire box smelled like if Jesus had his own personal line of cologne. I religiously smell buttered popcorn it is a aura of pure beauty. But the smells range from hard candy which somewhat smells like a mixture of strawberry and cherry, blue slushy which is of course by the name a blueberry but a hint of raspberry as well, and the chocolate mint smells like girl scout cookies. Root beer is absolutely fantastic it's aroma is of a root beer barrel candy you get at dollar tree and what else could a woman ask for. Last but actually it is kind of least, nacho cheese isn't repulsive and certainly smells like nachos however it has a slight touch of jalapeno which makes you thrown off but once it dissipates it is tolerable.

You absolutely, cannot teach Kindergarten without these markers. The incentive of a "smelly star or smiley face" is enough to get my students motivated to complete their tasks. We love ALL of the scents except one- I bet everyone knows what one scent that is? Yep, black. Black is black licorice. I think in my almost 16 years of using these markers, I have probably found less than 10 kids that like the smell of the black of marker. The rest of them, they love!

O my gosh this is a blast from the past for me. I love these markers!!! I used to have these as a kid and I know this is going to sound crazy, but I am a 31 year old woman and I STILL have about 3 of them from my teen years! THAT shows you how great these markers are!!! I kept putting off buying these because my daughter still has a bunch of markers that she's been given at school/birthday presents etc. But we just went through and got rid of all the markers we didn't like and streamlined. We made a lot of room for new craft supplies so I finally just bought a new set of these for my daughter and I can't believe I waited this long! I was such a food! How fragrant they are! I love the watermelon, banana, grape, cherry. The scents are amazing. They are so much fun! My daughter drew me a picture and I could smell how yummy the piece of paper was when she held it up to show me. It was so cool. Our family sat down and enjoyed smelling all of these right when we got them. Everyone started drawing, even my husband who never sits still for an activity such as that. They are enticing, great quality lasting markers on top of the cool scents. They last a long time. I'm very happy with the quality of these. These are the best markers on the market for sure!

I thought some would get a kick out of knowing that my 25+ year old Mr. Sketch markers are still going strong - still moist & still have their scents! I bought several sets when I taught nursery school in the late 80's-early 90's & since then, they've been stored in our attic (hot in summer/frigid in winter). I recently got them out for our 5 yr old grandson & we sorted out the dried out ones (only dry because tops not on tightly) . I have boxes & boxes of new markers & crayons, yet these are the favorites. Brilliant idea, Mr. Sketch! No clue why our attic weather fluctuations didn't destroy them. So for any doubters….this is for you!

Package they come in is very nice. Shows all the colors on the back of each marker and what they smell like. Yes I smelled them all with my daughter and they smell pretty amazing for markers. She loves to color more than any other toy so they are always her top pick. Easy for her to color with the market is a nice thickness and the color is bright and bold on the paper. For the price I only buy them on specials occasions. I would buy again for her when they run out. She colors everyday and I make sure the tops get put back one they last for a couple of months of constant coloring which is average in my book

For some strange reason, my 11 year old daughter has to draw and color a lot of pictures each night in her homework. The problem is that she has issues grasping a pencil and she hates the busy work. I had to try to find a way to make the process more enjoyable and then I thought - "what if doing homework was a little more fun?" I remember a discussion with a teacher friend who swears by these markers and I ordered a set of the bold tips and the fine tips. This review is for the bold tips. My daughter has developed a new love for coloring. She loves to sniff the pens and sniff the paper. The added gimmick of making it smell good has taken the coloring aspect of her homework from a chore something that is almost fun. I was happy with the inks - they are vibrant and the tips are solid and strong. I expect these will last us a long time.
