Standard classic quality constructed stapler. This thing will withstand the next five generations. Not only can this be used to staple up to 20 pages at once, but you can also use it as a sturdy self-defense weapon against the hordes of zombies breaking down your door during that ill fated summer 2021. If it came in red, I'd be super duper happy. Hell, I'd even move down to the basement.

Great price for a quality product. Cheaper than buying it at an office store. I am a high school teacher and have to constantly replace staplers so I will be buying all of my future staplers from Amazon.

Swingline Stapler is the sturdiest there is. They are long lasting as long as you use the standard staples and even though the stapler is heavy in weight, it is the easiest to use. Great foe the home office and worth the price.

Maybe not the Cadillac of staplers, but for general household use, which is my purpose, it should last a long, long time. I'm sure someone will quietly stuff it in their pocket when they're going through my stuff after I die, give a quiet, evil laugh, and take it home to use for a few more decades. Really. It's all metal (except for the rubber skid pad on the bottom) and it's a stapler. Don't slam your hand down on it like you're trying to drive the staple through the desk underneath and I see no reason it shouldn't last forever. Maybe if you staple 100 times a day you could wear it out, but if you do you should probably spend more than this model costs. I've only put about 50-60 staples through it so far, but it's shown no sign of jamming yet. It has smooth action (as good as any stapler I've ever used) and a quality, solid feel in the hand. I used it for stapling through two layers of thin, white-coated cardboard, probably equal to about ten sheets of paper in thickness, and it worked nice and easy with no effort. As of June, 2020, I paid $6.39 for this stapler and another $3.02 for a box of 5000 S.F. 4 Premium staples (recommended by Swingline for this stapler and they come in a sturdy hinge-top box). For less than $10 I think my stapler needs are set for life and probably beyond.

I’ve worked in an office a long time and this stapler has always been my favorite. It works right every time.

Ever since the movie Office Space came out all I ever wanted was a Swingline stapler. Moved back to the US and needed a new one. Well, you know what I was going to get. Even treated myself to the Swingline Staples pack. Little did I know what I had been missing all those years with some generic stapler. The awesome might of a sea of staples that loaded smoothly in the Swingline. To battle Swingline! We have documents to collate!

High quality sturdy stapler. It is guaranteed to last a lifetime.

If you are over 25 years old, and work indoors, it's nearly impossible that you haven't seen, and used, this stapler. I'm 65 years old and I remember a very similar Swingline stapler on nearly every teacher's desk in high school. Of course the main difference between those models, and this one is place of birth. Before 1999, these were made in New York. In 1999 production was moved to Mexico, costing hundreds of US jobs. Now, as you must expect, they are made in China. Functionally, this seems as good as any stapler I've ever used. Heavy, solid and accurate so far, I can't complain about it at all. But it's a STAPLER, right? Making a stapler that works isn't rocket science. At the under-5$ price point, you can't go wrong.

This Swingline stapler is sturdy and lightweight. It's very easy to use. It is for our home office and sits on my husband's desk. We purchased it on a daily special and got it at a very good reduced rate! Completely happy with our purchase.

I tried a no name brand to get a 3 pack and a cheap price. I returned immediately as staple quality was unpredictable. I paid a little more for a 2 pack of swingline instead and its worth it - staple quality is perfect every-time.
