I've had this stapler for FOUR YEARS and I have absolutely no complaints. PROS: - It staples well (although I don't think I ever stapled up to 30 sheets together, so I can't vouch for that) - It's easy and comfortable to use, making for effortless stapling with one hand. - Staples never get stuck in the feeding mechanism. I call that a quality stapler!

Wonderful Stapler!

We were frustrated with not being able to find a Standard Stapler that would actually staple a few sheets of paper together dependably. Our experience has been that Many Staplers were undependable and would Jam at the most unexpected and worst possible moment! We tried many but then, after reading Many reviews, decided to try this Stanley Bostich Model! We have had it & been using it almost every day for about 6 months now and both me & my wife who are Very Particular about Staplers are saying that this one is Vastly Better than any we have ever used both at home & at work! We also purchased the Stanley Bostich Standard Stapled to go with it and together this Stapler has Jammed only 1 Time in over 6 months & was easily un-jammed and back to work in a flash! It is a wonderful Stapler and is Highly Recommended... Ultra Dependable!...."5 Stars"!

but looked and felt like it would last forever

Replaced a very expensive (in comparison) stainless steel, heavier, Spengler stapler that broke with light use in less than a year after purchase. This Bostitch is light and, most important, the price was right. Certainly, it will last a bit longer than my disappointing expensive stapler that was not durable, but looked and felt like it would last forever? Alas and "sigh"...

Awesome Workhorse

I use this stapler for a specific purpose. When I scoop the icky bits out of the litter box, I put the waste into a paper lunch sack. I fold it over several times, then staple it shut. I've gone through half a dozen staplers doing this. Most won't go through that many folds, or they'll jam up in less than a week due to the dusty environment. This stapler gets through the folded paper easily. The staples close perfectly. In three weeks of daily usage in a dusty environment it is yet to jam. Never before has a mere stapler made me so very happy.

I'd recommend this to everyone.

I'm a couponer and stay at home mom and this works fine for all the tasks that I've used it for whether it being staple 30 inserts together or stapling papers and I even stapled cardboard because I made my sons wolverine claws with this stapler and didn't have any trouble. I can use it while it's just in my hand like a clamp or on a table but if there's one thing I haven't tried it's stapling something on a wall or wall thing but I have no doubt that this stapler can do it because yes, it does open up. My confidence in this stapler is high and I do believe this stapler is high quality! Pretty pricey to me but it was worth what I spent. It doesn't come with staples but if you need a heavy duty stapler then this is for you.

I bought this since I finally got my own desk at work. Constantly providing paperwork for my customers, I needed a stapler where it could staple more than 10 pages at one time without getting the staples bent at some point which is a problem with some regular staplers. This is very easy to use without making too much effort to staples papers.

Much stronger than your regular stapler!

I was very impressed by how strong this little guy is and how well it drives a staple into even large stacks of papers. I pulled together a massive Q4 financial report recently and was very skeptical that this stapler could handle the two-dozen or so pages. No problem at all... it got the job done. Excellent stapler!

Works without issue

A decent stapler. I was tired with my old stapler constantly jamming and it finally broke. Wasn't worth my time trying to fix so I bought Bostitch Ergonomic 20 Sheet Desktop Stapler. I had a box of 1/4" unused staples so I looked for a stapler that would use them. So far no issues no jams.

Heavy duty conforable and works each time

Replacing a 40 year old stapler that finally quit on me :( This unit is nice, comfortable in hand and staples clean each time. no misfiring.

Reliable

I bought the Amazon Basics stapler for about the same price and it is trash now. It would shoot staples at me and staple 50% of the time, poorly. This stapler, on the other hand, is very easy to use and I’ve had zero issues with the free staples that came with the other stapler, which are really poor quality staples. I can recommend this stapler.
