Needed them for work

Went to Staples two separate times looking for staples for my heavy duty stapler at work. Both times I got the wrong ones and had to return. What a pain, but it was my fault. The stapler was bought before I got there, and no one had kept the box. I took a guess as to the size, because I couldn't find anywhere on it that told me. Turns out it was in the smallest print known to man, on the bottom of the stapler, on the black rubber piece. Annoying. Glad I finally got the ones to fit, and got them here for an awesome price. Will definitely buy again from here when it comes time to get some more.

Great staples for all those sheaths of paper!

The staples come in a nice little tin, which means I have a storage bin now later when I run out of staples for things like paper clips, rubber bands, etc. Using the Optima 70 hand stapler, these staples cut right though several sheets, like 40 or so from what I have done so far with little drama. I did have a few mis-fires where the staples didn't go through and compacted against itself, but a majority of the time the tall narrow legged staples do go through alot of paper. Great for this current tax time!

Does there job well

Staples worlk great with my swingline stapler I bought. Occasionally I get jamming of the staples in the staple but not too often so not entirely jam free. However, happened more often with my old stapler. I can staple many pages together with these staples and they hold. I am always working on my husband's VA claim and these assist me in keeping his paperwork together, neat and organized.The staples feels sturdy and strong. I will buy these staples again to use with my stapler. I recommend these highly.

Excellent staples for the price

I purchased this for use with my Swingline Ergonomic High Capacity Desk Stapler. They came fast (2 days with Amazon Prime!) The metal box is great. I had the option between a paper container that falls apart after a few months in my drawer, or a metal box that will hold the staples without any rust or oxidation. The staples are well designed and cut through a large stack of papers. Swingline advertise that it can hold 60 pages but I think it exceeds that number - it really depends on the thickness of your paper. I had no issues with the staples in my box. For under $6 for a box of 125 strips of staples, this costs .0024 per staple. Pretty darn cheap if you ask me, but who is counting? :) Realistically speaking, $6 for a box of staples is relatively high (usually a box of staples is no more than $3-4), but you have to remember these are good quality, high capacity staples which will hold more paper and be more sturdy.

Exactly what I needed for my Swingline Optima 70 stapler

When I bought my stapler, a sleeve holding 500 of these staples was included. This is probably more than I'll ever need, but since the item description wasn't clear, I went ahead and ordered this extra box of extra staples that shipped free with Prime as an add-on to the stapler. They would also ship free with any other $25 Prime order, I believe. This box contains what I think is 5,000 staples. I now have a lifetime supply of staples that penetrate large stacks of paper with ease and absolutely refuse to jam. I've actually tried to coax a jam by using quick, imprecise movements in stapling. Alas, I have yet to succeed. Once through the paper, they fold over nicely. They don't grab other papers or fabric when shuffled about. They come in an attractive aluminum box, as well. No more worrying about staples sliding out of cheap cardboard sleeves battered from years in a drawer, or jabbing yourself as you try to coax them from within. It fits nicely in a desk drawer while not getting in the way.

These are the staples to use in the two best staplers on the market, the Swingline Optima 70 and the Swingline High Capacity 60. When they are not are sale they are a bit more expensive than standard staples, but the performance in those two models more than makes up for it. At the sale price (currently $3.99) they are a steal. All the negative reviews appear to be from people who did not actually buy genuine Swingline Optima staples. Buy from Amazon instead of the a 3rd party seller to be sure you are getting the genuine article!

I really like this product it's got everything you need in the realm of heavy duty Staples. I especially like the metal box that the Staples came in. It sure beats those cardboard boxes of paper boxes because they get torn up then you got staples everywhere

Great staples but for High Volume Swingline Staplers only

Excellent product as it is the only stapes recommended for my high capacity Swingline Stapler. I do not think these would work with a normal stapler or even other high volume staplers as the stapes are specially made extra thin to work with the Swingline high capacity staplers.
