Tried the cheaper, Non-Brita filters and they just aren't as good unfortunately. These new Brita filters also do not require a 15 minute soak in water,. you instead just run cold water over the water filter now for 15 seconds and it is ready to go. Also, there are so far a lot less black flecks in the top of the Brita canister and the water tastes great. Overall, to save a $1.50-2 (ish) dollars, the off-brand filters are just not worth it, my guess is they do not contain as much activated charcoal, I base this on my vast knowledge of water filter technology and science background that comes with being a communications major, so basically, nothing, but the filter is great.

Fantastic water filter

Fantastic water filter, and when Brita says "advanced" they aren't blowing smoke. I was disenchanted with Brita back in the day - the filters seemed awfully fussy to set up, and they seemed to need changing quite often. So far I haven't had any issues with these new filters. Priming it took 15 seconds - no joke - and it was pretty much ready right after priming. That's to say, I didn't get any black dust or floaties in the first few loads, like I did with the older filters. So I'm back to Brita. This is a good filter and it does a good job.

A friend for over 20 years - still the one!

Brita WORKS - it has made sure my water is nice in homes, in apartments - for senior hydration for my Mother; sports hydration and healing hydration and beauty hydration for me. Its PORTABLE - moving with work and love through the years, I never miss a day with Brita. The containers last and look nice wherever I put them, and the filters are the best. I often buy them in quantity for a few pennies less or just the one.

Vacation needs: A Brita Filter

I received this timely and I was thrilled about that since I was on vacation and I didn't want to be buying bottled water everyday. I already had the Brita and this put me in a good situation to get filtered water quickly. This is a great idea for those of us who are out of town and don't have filtered water available at the vacation spot. My daughter taught me this trick of using a Brita and I won't go anywhere without an extra filter.

Works fantastic!👍🏻 and it came fast! We’ve switched to Brita recently,instead of bottled water and not only does this save us money, but the price of the Brita filter,sold from Amazon is great and our water is sparkling and tastes great!👍🏻😊❤️ We use it a lot, (5 people in our house),so we have to change it about every,30 days.But it still..saves us a bundle!

Get a Brita! Don’t drink unfiltered water!!

I’ve had my Brita water filter for over a year now! Me and my husband always say “nothing tastes like home water” and that’s so true! I love the way the water tastes from these filters! No chlorine taste! These filters last a while as well!! Due to COVID I couldn’t find any at the store, I was SO ecstatic to see this for cheap on amazon !

Removes the smell in water in effective and easy way with low cost

Just got one as needed only for couple of months. Good product. Used it before and works great. Some smells in water is getting remove it easy and effective way. Low cost finally. It just looks like came out from big box. No additional boxes, just filter covers with original pack and no box.

We all are aware of what is happening with COVID! It important that we keep Filtered water in our homes because the grocery stores are over saturated with people trying to grab essentials for their family. The breeze of having this delivered to my house instantly even in the middle of a pandemic is so amazing! It’s functional and works just as it should!!!

No More Generic

I am done buying generic filters, the water would pour right through the filter way too quickly and I am not even sure it is filtering the water properly. Will only buy Britta from now on. Only wish I had bought a package of six which is a better value, that’s why I knocked off a star.

It's a Filter Replacement

Not much to say here, if you're buying a replacement filter you've probably used them before already. Easy to remove and install, works as intended. Be sure to follow the instructions on reseting your filters meter.
