I love office products of every kind, but reading the reviews for electric staplers was KILLING ME!! Sometimes you just get paralyzed when reading all the reviews, be they positive or negative. Well, I have been wanting to buy an electric stapler ever since I started volunteering at my daughter's school when she was in kindergarten...the school sends out weekly announcements, flyers, hot lunch menus, etc. once a week. Parent volunteers collate everything and it goes into folders. Often the folders aren't brought back to school so we staple everything and send home the packet of papers. Manually doing this for up to 430 kids every week is a pain!! And then I bought this stapler... Life is easy now!! It has never jammed, complained, broken, made a funny noise, or anything negative! It gets used every week pretty heavily and sometimes I bring it back home to staple packs of writing paper for the teachers to hand out to their kids (many reams worth of paper). I heartily recommend this stapler and am tempted to get another one as a backup because I'm afraid they'll stop making this one!!

The Power Tool of PaperWork... Get Some (Get One) Gets the Job Done

works great. I look for things to staple with this thing. I like the storage compartment for the spare staples. I thought I had so much that needed stapling before I bought it, but I went through it all so quickly with it, now I look for things to put a staple in just to use it. I like my toys, and even as simple as a stapler can be I love using it. it reminds me of my power tools sitting on my computer desk....

This is a great stapler. I have to do a lot of stapling at work and this really speeds things up because I have to use both hands to pick up paper out of two stacks and then square them up and then staple them. Other electric staplers that I have used staple rather slowly as though there is some sort of gear inside that has to make a full rotation to staple the papers. However, this one is much more like a staple gun or a nail gun. With this one, I insert the papers and, bam, it's done immediately. Sounds like a small thing but if you have to do a lot of stapling, it speeds things up. Product feels as though it is high quality; nice heft.

I really should not get this excited about a stapler... but I am!

This is the best electric stapler I've purchased in a decade.... and I have purchased quite a few. This stapler has passed the test -- about 4500 staples in a three-week period --- without ANY jams, without breaking, and successfully stapling every packet of pages up to the number that will fit into it. Previous electric staplers I have purchased (several different brands including one Swingline that was supposed to be heavy duty) constantly jam or mis-staple or break in the middle of important projects. I am sorely tempted to throw away all of the other staplers still in my office and buy a bunch of these. I also love the reassuring and quick Thump! noise that this stapler makes, rather than the two-stage noise of other staplers. If you are doing a lot of stapling in a short amount of time, it goes faster. It's nice to find a product that actually works how it is supposed to!

Loud but 15,000 staples and going

So I bought this month's ago and held off on reviewing until I had put it through its paces. 3 boxes of 5,000 count staples later and it's worked like a champ through all of it. Yes it is on the louder side, making a good thunk every time it staples, but as someone who collates reams of paper worth of layouts a week, it's a magnificent time and frustration saver. It uses any brand standard staples, so it doesn't matter if you buy the Bostitch ones. I only ever had it jam when feeding more than 25 sheets through, which is its stated capacity anyway. It's seriously great, I've had to nearly fight people from trying to make off with mine.

I am absolutely satisfied with the Bostitch Impulse 25 Electric Stapler

I have always purchased Swingline products. However, I am absolutely satisfied with the Bostitch Impulse 25 Electric Stapler. It has some weight plus suction cups, so it doesn't slide around when you insert the sheets of paper. The opening prevents you from inserting more pages than the stapler's capacity, which is handy. But what I like the best is that it staples with authority. The staples go in firmly and the bottom ends are curved in so there are no finger pricks. And in the 4 months I have been using it, the Bostitch Impulse 25 Electric Stapler has not jammed -- not even once! Also, it takes standard staples, which is convenient. I noticed from other reviews that for some people the stapler broke within a few days. I have found that with electric/electronic devices, a device either fails right out of the box or it fails within the first few days or weeks. This is not untypical of modern manufacturing. However, if a device continues to work after the initial period, it is good for years. I think that is true of this Bostitch stapler.

Not for the jumpy

I had been using a manual Swingline stapler for the past 15 years at work but the constant jams and the fact I couldn't staple more than 10 sheets of paper at a time convinced me to finally buy an electric stapler. This stapler sounds like a staple gun when it fires which can initially spook some people but my immediate office neighbor got used to it after a couple of days. There is a blue light that lights up when the staples are almost out (usually 6 staples until empty) and the stapler itself holds 4 strips plus the one in use and a staple remover that pops out of the top. There are 4 suction cups to keep the stapler from moving around on slippery surfaces My only issue that I have run into is that you can't change the depth of how far into the stapler the paper goes before the stapler fires. On a manual stapler, you slide the paper forward or back depending on where you want the staple. On this stapler, you can only move the paper over to the left or right, but not any further forward or backward.

Dont look any further!

Bought this baby to staple 1000 mailers for work. I was only stapling 2 papers at a time, but had 1000 to do. Not once did this stapler jam or cause me any problems!!!!!!!!!!! So in my opinion its a 5 star for sure. Love how there is a feature that gives you a heads up when your staples are getting low. Which is nice because once you get going super fast you can easily overlook if your papers are really even being stapled! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for an electric stapler. Oh, and this also uses standard staplers (the ones you already have in your non electric staplers).

***THE ABSOLUTE BEST***

Okay, lets start off by saying this is a "Bad***" stapler!!! WOW...really!!! Got this stapler in quick, packaged great. Plugged it in immediately to test this "NO JAM" feature! It said it could staple up to 25 sheets at a time...so I took 35 sheets and stapled them as many times as I could, as fast as I could. WOW!!! This "NO JAM" feature definitely stands up to what it says. It staples with one quick "POP"! Our staff and faculty absolutely love it. Who knew a simple little stapler could put so many smiles on so many faces (amazement)!
