Very happy with the purchase.

Strong and solid electric stapler. Has never jammed in the 3-4 years that I've had it and bought a second one for higher traffic use in the office. You can even go a few more pages over 45 but paper stack might catch a little as you are removing it but works nonetheless. Had another major brand that had delicate plastic parts so it broke easily when just filling staples.

Better than expected

Excellent stapler. Staples with authority. The only slightly disappointing thing is the inability to staple sheets at a 45 degree angle -- the optical sensor will not trip if it is more than a few degrees off of a straight angle. But wow, this is one of the few that I actually believe can staple through 45 sheets, or at a minimum 40. Totally impressive, given the price of competing units of similar capacity. Very pleased with my purchase. The PowerCrown staples seem to make a difference too. The tips really are like small chisels, and even though they have a crown at the top (basically a slightly convex bend in the normally flat top of the staple), once it hits the sheet the thing lays flatter than any other staple I've seen before. Really awesome to see technology operate successfully at this small, relatively mundane level.

Excellent for my classroom

Use this everyday in my classroom. It has cut down the number of staplers being jammed, slammed or broken in my classroom. The students were able to quickly learn to use it after a short lesson on proper useage and safety.

This is a great stapler for those large reports

This is a great stapler for those large reports. There are suction cups on the bottom so when you put the stapler down it won’t go anywhere. The stapler uses premium staples so the normal staples will not do. It is a heavy stapler. When you use this stapler get ready for a strong staple. Loading the staples is very easy. You just press the grey button on the top of the machine which will eject the tray. You will just slide the staples onto the tray and push back into place. I recommend this stapler for all your large stapling needs.

The Best Stapler I ever had!!!

This automatic electric stapler is worth the price and is a real solid built machine. It hasn't jammed yet! I really like if and would never go back to a manual stapler again. You get what you pay for!

Does not Jam! Solid.

I own a small business and after going through two Swingline Electric Stapler, Optima 70, units, i purchased the Bostitch Impulse 45. This unit is solid, powerful and does not jam. Very happy with this model. Do yourself a favor and purchase one if you need something more heavy duty. It can bind a 45 page document easily. it has suction cups on the feet which holds it nicely in place on a desk. It has a normal power cord so you don't have to use a power adapter.

I didn't even know I needed it

It was on sale for over half off so I bought it as it was just a little more expensive than a normal stapler. My office is very happy. We didn't even know we needed it, but are very happy we bought it. I do wish it had a guide on the left so that the staples are more uniformly placed.

Bostitch came through !!!

Some have commented that it is loud when used. We use it regularly and yes you can hear it but it's not like what's been described by others to us. We've not had even one failure using it. Would buy again if needed. As of about a month ago, the stapler failed at times, failed completely at other times and sometimes when you're not even near it - it goes off. I contacted Bostitch and I printed out a return form and mailed it to them. It's now been over a month and NO contact from Bostitch. This item was purchased in March 12, 2018, so it was in service about 5 MONTHS and cost $47.89. There had been NO damage to it. If Bostitch does not respond I will change this review to "Completely unacceptable" as it didn't even last 6 months. Waiting???? WELL the wait is over! While I had received no communication from Bostitch, yesterday (10-03-2018) I received a package in the mail. Bostitch has send me a replacement stapler!!! This one is a little different in design/shape and it has been plugged in and it's working as it should. Hopefully all will go well!! Bostitch is to be commended for their follow through and I appreciate it VERY much. Up grading my rating to 5 stars due to Bostitch's response. They did listen. Thanks - will keep you posted on the new stapler.

Good product exacly as advertised.

Got two of them and they sure do the job well. If you purchase this stapler be aware it uses only the crown staples. Be sure to order a box of staples with the unit, it does come with a box of 5000 so you have a starting point for sure.

Great stapler

I bought this for our elementary school library. This is a serious stapler. Multiple suction cups and hefty weight keep it locked in place while you work, freeing up your hands so that you can keep multiple pages from slipping out of order. Adding more staples is a snap. This is really a good value for a quality item. Delivery was super fast. It arrived just in time to get the school book fair pamphlets out to all the grades.
