Soft, peaceful sound-love them!

I teach second grade and I love these chimes. I use it to calmly get my students' attention. I also use it when time is up in literacy center rotations. These are also perfect to use to end pair-share conversations. I highly recommend using these chimes. My 11 year old and 8 year old sons also enjoy playing them while they're waiting for me to finish up in the classroom.

We love these little Zenergy chimes! The sound is pure and loud, and the presentation — with the wooden base, aluminum rods and little mallot — is quite beautiful. Buy one, you won’t regret it at all. We bought our first set of these, the Zenergy5 with five chimes, as a bit of a lark. They rapidly became a favorite, which use used nearly every day to announce “dinner time.” The chimes sat on an end table, and nearly every visitor would pick them up and play with them. We “lost” the five-note chimes after we had a party and our house, and one of the guests was clearly enthralled with them. At the end, we gave the chimes to him, which delighted him, and of course delighted us as well. The next day, we purchased the Zenergy3 three-rod version of the chimes, simply to have something different. We are equally happy with the three-tone chime. Hint: Be sure to shop around! WOW!!!

Okay now these are BEAUTIFUL! The sound they make is so crisp and clear, it's like it rings and resonates on a healing frequency or something. Is that what they're supposed to do? You can really make some beautiful songs with this. I wonder how they packed such a powerful sound into this. It's a remarkable product!

Fantastic for calming spirited kids

Beautiful sound. The kids and I love using them to mellow. They can be super loud or very quiet. One of my children gets way over-tired and then starts acting up at night. Now he just plays the chimes quietly when he can't go to sleep right away, it doesn't bother his sister, and we all love the sweet music coming from the chimes. They also have a small hole on the back to hang them on the wall with. It makes it easy to keep track of them and they look lovely hanging from the peg.

They resonate really well, I think I can feel it within my skull as the sound reverberates through the air. Great quality all around, the metal of the chimes, wood of the base and striker it all feels well made. Great also for waking the kids, or spouse, in the mornings.

Fine piece of art and craftsmanship

This is not only a “ Fine piece of art and craftsmanship “ but it is also “Music to my ears.” I would have expected to pay 3 to 4 times the amount that I paid for it. This is an instrumental tool that helps me to clear all of the mind chatter that goes on and on and on. I just simply play the tones and listen to them until they are no more... Simple. Now my Mind Chatter tells me to order and send this to this Friend and that Friend. LOL

Good quality for classroom use

I was a little concerned about the sounds (I get migraines easily and certain pitches can cause that for me). However, these chimes ended up working just fine for me. I found the sound recording helpful. I have used this in my 1st grade classroom, both with breathing exercises and also when we were studying sound, since the kids could see and feel the vibrations. They found stopping the vibrations with their hands to be the coolest thing ever... everyone had to try it.

Great, well-made chime with a beautiful sound

Great, well-made chime with a beautiful sound. I use it sparingly in my classroom (maybe once a week) and my students love it. Some noise makers or attention getters teachers use are annoying and as such, I have never used any instruments to get attention in my classroom (Rain sticks, bells, etc). A colleague had this one and I loved the sound of it, so I bought one for myself. Works well because the sound cuts through the volume of an entire class talking but has a sweet, peaceful sound.
