As a volunteer with Big Apple Greeter, a not-for-profit in NYC which provides a free four hour introduction to visitors to this great city, I often donate a supply of these inserts to the Avery clip on name tags: Avery Top-Loading Garment-Friendly Clip-Style Name Badges, 3" x 4", 100 Badges,) We all like them at our various get togethers for team building and fund raising, and use them often for our fund raising event. They don't seem to mar any fabric they are attached to and the inserts fit well and are easy to fit into the badges. Robert C. Ross September 2018

These nice large name badge inserts allowed a lot of information to be included for a major area fundraiser. The names would able to be printed with a large type font. Additional information, such as table number and silent auction bidding number, were able to be added, allowing the individual to have important information at his/her fingertips.

Fit the 10pc Clear Waterproof Id Badges Holders Pouches 10x8cm I bought perfectly. I did trim the top down just a smidge, to ensure a good tight seal. Works smoothly in my crappy old inkjet printer. They are not perfectly perforated, however, and I had some difficulty getting them apart. It's like the perforation was only done on one side. I ended up bending them, then cutting them. Don't force the tear, or you'll end up with jagged edges. Other than that, I'm pleased with the item.

As with all Avery products, these inserts are high quality and are a breeze to print using the Word templates that can be downloaded from the Avery website. The perforations allow easy separation of the inserts; however, the edges will still have some remaining paper fibers resulting in a "fuzzy" appearance (no matter how much back-forth flexing is done at the perforation). As such, faster and near-flawless results can be obtained by simply using a metal straightedge and cutting along the perforation lines with a utility knife. For my application, these inserts were used in conjunction with Keylion Heavy Duty ID Card Badge Holders (also available here at Amazon) to make economical identification tags for fuel containers and contractor tool bags. The Avery inserts were printed on both sides (left side - right side), folded in half at the center perforation and inserted into the clear holders, thereby allowing the tags to be read regardless of orientation. To secure the tags to the fuel containers and tool bags, 8" black (UV-resistant) cable ties were used. Please refer to attached photos for additional information.

Always a great product from Avery- I have used this line of self print for over a decade with excellent no, superb results. This is desktop publish to the max. Make sure you stick to this brand and also use the super friendly software as well, job will be done in moments for a great price point. Most their products are made in U.S.A although some are made in Mexico which is after all North America and not South East Asia.

These work well and look nice. They are perfectly perforated and separate easily without extra effort. I use these once a month for a client luncheon and have been very pleased with the results. Update: Quality control, Avery. This batch does not have sufficient perforation. Even after repeated back-and-forth folding, the perforations don't release cleanly, which means I'm spending considerable time ripping off hanging "chads." I'm hoping I just got a box of lemons this time around -- the whole box so far has been like this.

The problem I had, is even using their downloaded template (I tried theirs and also one from MS Word), the top of the information on the badges didn't align correctly as it went down the sheet. To try to explain, the first row of badges printed correctly, the next row started a little high but was usable, by the 3rd row, the top line was starting to print on the bottom of the 2nd row and the 4th row was even worse - the information continually moved higher and higher on each successive badge. So, I had to print them 4 at a time. Print 4 and then turn the sheet around and print the next four. Now it could have been me, or my printer.... Although I can't see what I could have done differently. But that is why I didn't deduct any stars - benefit of the doubt. After I adapted to printing them as I stated, they worked beautifully. But it was a more time consuming way to get the job accomplished.

These perforated cards are perfect. I printed nearly to the edge of each card and folded them repeatedly before breaking the perforations so they would not tear, learning that the hard way. The template was easy to use although I modified it for vertical printing. I was able to print on both sides with no bleed through, used color with no problem and they easily slid into the badge holders that they are sized to fit.

You just can't go wrong with Avery products. I purchased these to use along with the Mifflin Brand badges with lanyards. They are a perfect fit and the software download worked perfectly. It is good quality, heavy stock paper that you just bend to separate. I had a few that had little hanging chad type things on the edge but they were easy enough to pinch off without any damage to the card itself. Everyone at our reunion was really impressed with the name tags since most people just use those old sticky things that fall off. Many of these people hadn't seen one another in 35 years so name tags were a necessity and I was able to enlarge the font for us old folks to be able to read the names. Highly recommend this product.

I'm not at all surprised at how perfectly these Badge Insert sheets works. MS Word still, after all these years, leaves something to be desired in its Tables and Labels functions (WordPerfect was so much better but is a thing of the past, alas), but I make minor margins adjustments to compensate for its shortcomings. Test with plain paper so you don't waste these precious sheets. Being an Avery fan, I've come to expect quality from this company, and they've come through, again, with this product.
