great
This pan has a thick bottom, somewhat thinner sides (but not too thin) and the non-stick coating is excellent. I don't bother to shape the dough much, I just put dollops in each section and they come out more or less scone shaped. Once you get the baking time and temperature right the thick walls ensure that the bottom and sides get enough heat to develop just a hint of crust.

So easy, even a cozy mystery protagonist uses it!
THIS. This pan is the bomb! It makes perfectly shaped scones that literally fall out of the pan when I turn it over. OMG so easy! Just 2/3 cup of dough in each section uses up the recipes perfectly. I needed to test my scone recipes for an upcoming novel, but I had the worst time with the dough on the first try, so I bought this pan and tried again. I like my food easy, thanks. And this pan made everything pure perfection. I even gave a scone pan to my protagonist. Art imitates life!

Heavy Duty, Easy to Clean
I always add a little coconut oil to the pan before I bake. Nothing has ever stuck! Based on the triangular shape of the molds, you will need a soft brush or cloth to get into the points of each area.

Gift yourself a supply of homemade scones!
We bought this as a gift for a friend and while we have not personally used it - we have been blessed to receive numerous homemade scones since that date. They are delicious and appear perfectly finished. While I think the skill of the cook is of vital importance - undoubtedly the pan plays some role in that right? :-) I can highly recommend this as a method of gifting yourself a future supply of homemade scones!

Everything very good - makes perfect scones.
Once I realized it should not be put in the dishwasher I expect it to have a long life. I didn't take good care of a previous pan similar to this one and it didn't wear well. It's very easy to use and I enjoy making those scones.

Just tried my Nordic Ware scone pan and it is amazing. The scones did not stick at all and came out perfect. I love Nordic Ware and also have their bundt pan which is awesome too.

I found baking them at the temperature recommended on the recipe worked out fine
Never knew you could bake scones without them getting dry and dark on the bottom. This makes them look professional by being uniform in size and color. Don't reduce the heat though because it is non-stick and a dark pan. I found baking them at the temperature recommended on the recipe worked out fine.

Turns out beautiful scones!
I love this pan. It's heavy and well-constructed. I bake with low carb flours and my scone recipes work great with it, although I've had to adapt them a little to increase the batter for eight scones versus the six I usually make. The brown beautifully, and the sides have a nice brown to them similar to making drop scones or cut scones instead of the one large loaf cut into six triangles. I like that the scones are uniformly sized so they look nice when plated. The pan is also great for cornbread, biscuits and other breads that you'd like to make in even servings.

Works great.
So much easier than having to roll out the dough. My scone batter is always sticky. Just drop the scoop in the section and press in or spread using the back of a spoon. No need to even grease or spray this pan. Scones, cornbread or muffins fall right out. Works great.

Makes wonderful Southern cornbread! (and scones, brownies, and anything else you can imagine!) Great product.
This pan makes wonderful cornbread. It is one of my best purchases! Addendum since my original review: I use this pan several times a week for different styles of cornbread (buttermilk, goat milk, creamed corn, savory southern, and sweet northern "corn cake." I have yet to have any of the breads stick to the pan, and although it is not cast iron, it cooks almost exactly like it. It is now my go to pan for corn bread and scones, and I have even made brownies in it. I LOVE this pan!
