Awesomeness!!! 😺
This oven mitt is awesome! If you love cats, you'll love it. I bought this as a gift to myself and it's perfect for me. :)

Good for unique gift
I bought this for my cow-obsessed sister for her birthday (I had recently bought the moose one for my brother and was not disappointed so I knew this was a good idea) and it did not disappoint. She absolutely loved it, to the point of hysterics. She was crying laughing and told me she would laugh every time she pulled something out of the oven.

Gag gift for a Canadian friend
My friend has moose antlers mounted on her car, and another moose head ready to mount on a wall in her home. I bought this after she told me what happened when she tried to order a mounting kit by phone from a top US retailer. She was told by a young lady based in Alabama that they couldn't ship the item to Canada, and there weren't any moose in Canada anyway. One wonders at the state of education in the US! Anyway, back to the review, The item was shipped in a timely manner, and was reasonably priced. I haven't heard how well it has stood up to actual use, but she got a god chuckle out of it.

Nice Longevity
I am surprised that the lobster claw oven mitt is still going strong after five years, however, its not always the most efficient oven mitt. It still works though and it goes well with my new shark oven mitt lol. I bought it when I was 17 and of course a silly oven mitt was more practical to me over a traditional one at the time. The lobster claw mitt is still my favorite though.

My mom is obsessed with everything to do with moose ...
My mom is obsessed with everything to do with moose. She's decorated her cabin with everything she can find relating to moose. When I saw this I knew I had to get it as a gag gift for her--funny thing is, she didn't realize it was a joke and hung it proudly in her kitchen! She loves it.

Gag gift gone right!
Haha this was for my mother in law who loves to cook a very cute gag gift that she uses daily.

Thinking out of the box
Oops - it became a toy. I got this for my daughter, but her toddler daughter got to it first and it has yet to see its intended use. It is great as a puppet and a cuddle toy. So I can't say how good it works, but it certainly feels thick enough for the short time it takes to get something out of the oven.

Unda da sea
I bought this to throw at my employees when they would get out of line. I think of myself as Tritan, King of the seas, and my staff are sea horse soldiers - every so often, when discipline is necessary to correct some sort of irrational behavior that goes against the law of the sea, I call upon Sebastian (no relation) the great lobster (crab?) of Atlantis to come and remedy the situation. He strikes down hard with his claw and the unworthy seahorse cowers, aware that this was merely a taste of wrath and that further poor behavior will unleash a fury the world is not yet ready for. Also great for removing hot objects from toaster ovens. 10/10

Nice gift for cat lovers
Really cute! Being a crazy cat lady, I was immediately drawn to this. Color and sharpness of colors exactly as pictured. The thickness is sufficient to prevent burns, and it goes up far enough past my wrist to keep me from getting burned on oven racks when I have to reach far back into the oven. I have been using one of these for several years now, and this new purchase was for a friend who also loves cats. She was thrilled to have one of these, too.

So hideous that it's adorable
I'm not going to lie, I think this thing's mouth is hideous, but it's so much fun to torment other people in the kitchen with it! It's also a pretty sturdy oven mitt. I bought two to have a complete set, and they've lasted for years.
