I just received this pool today, Friday, from Amazon. Even after reading all the reviews, I decided to test it and see if it would work. I immediately opened it to blow it up in preparation for my son's water party tomorrow. I love the fact that there are 3 seperate side chambers. If one chamber pops, there are 2 others to compensate. The cushion bottom also has to be blown up. I have found it is difficult to collapse the plug in only on the bottom, the rest are fine. I do love the cushion bottom as it adds an extra soft later for my 1 year old daughter. To be honest, I was too lazy to go find my foot pump or hand pump, so I blew it up. It took me less than 10 minutes. The one I got seems to be made with a heavier plastic, and I inspected the seams and they look solid. *WARNING* I could quickly see a problem that could arise if using a foot pump, hand pump, or electric pump. While it does appear to be a heavier plastic with solid seams, no plastic would be able to withstand the pressures if you accidentally over-inflate using a foot pump, hand pump, or electric pump, which could easily happen if not blowing up personally. If you decide to use any of these, my suggestion would be to slightly under inflate and blow up the rest of the way personally. Immediately after blowing up, my kids started jumping around on it and in it. It has been about an hour and doesn't look like it has lost any air. I am waiting to fill with water just in case anything happens. I also have the pool still sitting in my living room cause I know there is nothing in here that will pop it. I only gave this 4 stars for now because this is a preliminary report. I will update it as time goes by and if it meets or exceeds my expectations, I will give it the last star. *UPDATE* I did take the pool outside and left it on my patio overnight and only noticed it marginally "deflated". However, air expands and contracts in differing temperatures, so I know it didn't really lose air. I added a little air to each chamber before I filled it up with water for the party. It lasted through a 5 hour party on Saturday, with 7 kids, ages 3 - 6 jumping in and out of it. At the end of the party, I dumped the water out and was too lazy to deflate it, so I left it in the yard. Today (Tuesday), I noticed it is still holding air fine, so I filled it up with water and let my son, his friend, and my daughter go at it. I would definitely recommend this pool, but when you blow it up, do it with your mouth to avoid accidental over inflation.

I bought this 3 months ago and have it in our living room. I inflated only the two bottom rings for the first several weeks so my one year old could easily climb in and out. I inflated the top ring today and she has no trouble climbing in and out. There were no holes in the sides or bottom. The pool has been inflated for over three months straight and I have not needed to add any air since the first day I set it up. I set up a small slide so she could slide into the pool. Since the bottom of the slide was resting in the pool, I only partially inflated the bottom of the pool so the slide wouldn't cut into the plastic. She loves it!

perfect little pool! use it for 1 and 3 yo on our deck. Note that if they lean on the side with enough weight, water will pour out a bit. Easy to empty even without a drain plug, just squish down one side and pour it out. Also note... the Intex electric pump doesnt work on this because it has the little valves like on most pool toys or water wings.... it took about 20 minutes for me to inflate by mouth (that was with intrruptions of kids asking if the pool was ready yet). Only had it for about a week and i leave it inflated but empty the water and bring it inside to the sunroom at night.

I bought this for my teen daughter to sit out on the deck. It has been really warm so she wanted something to help her cool off. I didn't want the maintenance of a full size pool or the expense. This is a nice size for the deck or patio. It's fairly well made and since the bottom inflates too, it's pretty comfortable for her to sit in. I did see where other reviews cautioned about over inflating, so we were careful not to overinflate. She blew it up last week and it has remained fully inflated. We're pleased with this pool. Similar pools at our local box store cost $20 which is almost double what I paid. The item shipped quickly with prime, and we had it within 2 days.

This is the 2nd Intex inflatable pool I have purchased for my toddler granddaughter to use with bouncy balls (bought separately) One for each of our homes that she visits. We tried the folding sides type and the were not good at all. This inflatable pool is perfect for toddlers who are unsteady on their feet to play in with at least 200 or more balls. The enclosures with collapsible sides do just that: they collapse when she climbs in and out and she cannot lean against the sides while playing. This inflatable pool offers support if you need a ball enclosure for a 2 year old. Perfect for our needs. But definitely buy a cheap electric air pump. Invaluable.

It's a great size for young kiddos. My son is a tall 4 year old, but he has plenty of room to splash about. I also like how the bottom inflates to give extra cushion against any stones the pool might be on. It didn't take too long to inflate the entire thing either (I used an air compressor though.) It is very colorful!

So, this review has been several years in the making. It will remain SFW, however it will describe a use case that is definitely memorable. Last year, I was looking for something to hold and display a large number (60+) of . . . marital aids . . . at my camp at Burning Man. I jokingly though of a kiddie pool, and when I saw this rainbow one, I thought I'd try it out. My expectations were low. It was an inexpensive and meant for kids. I wasn't sure if it would last in the desert for a week but thought it would be worth trying it. And has it been! I have just returned from Burning Man - the second time for the kiddie pool (or what we lovingly refer to as the cockpit). And it's still doing great. Now, this pool isn't brought home, year to year. It stays in storage in a shipping container left out in the high Nevada desert. It literally bakes in an oven and then freezes in a freezer all year long. In addition to holding our collection of . . . marital aids . . . , it also has received more than it's fair share of roughhousing by adults. And yet, it's still in great shape. Under very unusual conditions (Do you know how much 60 . . . marital aids . . . weigh? - More than you might expect), heat, dryness, general tomfoolery, etc. it's still a solid product. I'd recommend this for anyone who needed a kiddie pool . . . for whatever reason.

This pool is just what I was looking for to use as a play area for my now 6 month old. He loves being in here and can fall over and won't get hurt. I always stay near the pool as of now because he is still learning how to crawl and sit up for long periods of time but he definitely will play in here with no problem. I blew it up the first time when it was delivered and allowed the material to expand then only had to put air in it once more to make it nice and tight. My favorite part about it is the cushioned floor, it definitely helps with impact if he ever topples over while sitting. I would definitely recommend this pool!

Had one of these pool a few years ago that we filled with ball pit balls and used at the base of a Little Tykes slide. We kept it in an indoor playroom for our kiddos. It lasted several years until some, clears throat, rambunctious(?) neighbor kids came over and popped the top tube and bottom tubes. We purchased another one to use outside as a ball pit without the slide by our pool for a few littles that are too small to swim in the pool during a large party. Worked great, even the bigger kiddos got in tossing balls about.
