From 1983 to my doorstep. In 2 days, impressive Amazon.

Awesome. Got my 1983 Famicom through Amazon Prime. It was sent to them by a seller from Japan. It arrived as described, mint in box untouched, unused with everything still wrapped in the original plastic. Appears as if it came straight out of a time machine set to 1983. Looks proper sitting next to my NES system. A must have for serious 8-bit Nintendo collectors in my opinion. The famicom has some games that never made it to the NES and some different versions of classic NES games. If you really like a particular NES nintendo game its pretty cool to see what the Japanese Famicom version looks like also. For example, The zelda-like gold colored Punch-Out for Famicom only. It is the original version of Mike Tyson's punch out before Tyson was added then later replaced with Mr. Dream. It has some different colored characters, some different text and sound. Its always best to play on an original system versus a cheap emulator. You're playing the game the way it was meant to played. Spend the extra bucks and get the authentic real deal Famicom.

Excellent system but be sure you are getting a genuine unit and not a rip off there are many. Also mine seems to have a signeture on it maybe someone can tell me what this is. Also before anyone says anthing my famicom is a real unit it was painted by someone I was wondering if anyone knows more about it?
