Great for babies

These are much better than any baby rattle for a 4-6 month old child. Great size for little hands to grip and my daughter is still interested at almost 1. She gets them out all the time, we turn on music and she shakes and dances away. My son (2.5). Even uses them to make noise sometimes. I highly recommend these for older babies that like noisy toys!

Perfect for tiny hands!

These are amazing. My 1 year old will not put them down. They make a really great sound and are the absolute perfect size for tiny hands. They are way way better than the maracas we had in the Melissa and Doug "band in a box" which make virtually NO sound. I have since recommended these to several friends who all love them as well. Highly recommend

LOVE these musical eggs!!

So much fun!!! I love them too and my LO as well!! A very fun addition to his musical instruments!! A great sound! I wish we had bought these and found these even sooner than we did. A great buy!!!!

Adds to One-Year-Old's Joy

We really enjoy these egg shakers - one of our kids uses them at least once a day. Our 1-year-old really enjoys shaking them, sometimes, and our 3 year old likes to load them up in his excavator or dump truck. I had to buy them because our 1-year-old played with one at a music themed birthday party, and she really enjoyed it! All-in-all, I'm glad we have them, I think our kids will enjoy them for years.

Perfect for all ages!

We bought these when our daughter and granddaughter moved out so we'd all know The difference between the ones that stay here and the ones of the other colors that the Easter bunny gave her this year for her first Easter. They are her favorite things, and we like to start introducing music early. For her, these are also perfect, because she loves elephants, and these have a little elephant on each of them..

Great Value

These are absolutely the best toys for baby. Bought them for her after she got the hang of sitting up on her own and it's music party all day long now. I do wish there were different sizes different amounts of sand inside each so that they could (obviously) make different sounds. No matter, these are still amazing and deserve 5 stars since they are exactly what they've been described as.

Perfect scale and shape for little hands

Perfect scale and shape for little hands, lovely and instinctually soothing sound, more open-ended than they seem. You can use them not just for children's movement and music activities, but also for egg hunts, dramatic play (eggs in the play kitchen or "dinosaur" eggs in nests made of play scarves etc.), teaching relaxation and self-regulation, teaching primary colors and counting, and so much more! I love to give them singly as gifts paired with two or three rhythm scarves.

I alwayswatch her very carefully when she is playing with them ...

I bought these after seeing my daughter play with similar toys in Kindermusik. She didn't really start picking them up until about 9 months old and now she loves walking around and shaking them. I always watch her very carefully when she is playing with them to ensure they don't open up and pose a choking hazard.

Amazing how such a little thing can occupy a child

My 14 month old LOVES these shakers. I have to say, even for adults that come over, these are kind of irresistible. They make such a satisfying sound and are so easy to hold in your hand, even tiny hands, these are great! They are fun to shake and I like to hide them in different places so my baby is very pleased when she comes across them unexpectedly. She loves to walk around with them and keep a couple in her little purse. It's nice that it came with 4 so we can keep some upstairs, some downstairs, even one in the car if we want. This was her favorite xmas gift this year, and probably the cheapest!

Fun shaker eggs for small musicians

LOVE these! I use these in my music and movement class. Decent sound and the kiddos LOVE them! In reading other reviews, I was a bit leery buying these, but so glad I did! They've been played with, dropped on hard floors and wiped down for several months now, and I've not had a single issue with breaking or ink coming off. These eggs are a harder plastic and very sturdy. I've had other brands that have broken with a few plays, but the Nino's have held up really well, especially considering how often they are used. They're always are a HUGE hit when I pull them out in class. Terrific purchase!
