Solved our litter box problems
We bought this to use under our cats' litter box. Our elderly cat was having some misses. In Amazon reviews, saw several others had bought it for this purpose. It works! This contains the "spillage" and makes cleanup so much easier. Also helps contain most cat litter to a confined area. The tray is light weight, sturdy enough for our purpose and was less expensive than a lot of other trays I looked at. We are totally satisfied with this purchase.

I use this as a jigsaw puzzle board
Although I have dogs, I didn't buy this item as a replacement pan for a dog crate. I don't even own a dog crate. Instead, I was looking for an oversized, sturdy (but lightweight) board preferably with some type of lip/raised edge that would accommodate a 24x30 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle. And this pan is perfect! I can start a puzzle on it and move it around with me in the house -- from table to table and even across my lap when I'm stretched out on my bed. I love how lightweight it is. The raised edge prevents loose puzzle pieces from falling off and keeps the semi-complete puzzle from migrating precariously toward any one edge. I looked into jigsaw-specific boards and the prices ran a bit high. Plus, finding a board this size was near impossible. Took a gamble that this pan would work and I wasn't disappointed! So, my review and rating is not for how this product is meant to perform -- as a crate pan -- but instead is to let people know that it can lead a double life as a puzzle board.

Happy fur baby mommy
Read the reviews and decided that this would work just fine. Not using it in a crate but under WEE WEE Pads. I have 4 dogs , so I use the xtra large pads. This tray allows me to place 2, one next to the other. Why you ask? Cause one of my boys is lazy and finds it easier to pee at the very edge of the pad. So many times I had to clean the urine that would travel under the pads. This tray solved the problem. If by any chance some urine spills on the side and travels under the tray , it's so much easier to clean up. Plus I've noticed that it really doesn't travel much . Lucky for me. Another lucky thing is that when they get on the tray it doesn't move . I was afraid it would and was worried a bit . Wish I thought of this a long time ago ! I'm a happy fur baby mommy !

I use this pan for my cat litter box area! Perfect!
Exactly what I was looking for! I used this large, 48", pan for under my large cat litter box. My cat (large cat) was tracking litter out onto the carpet and none of the traditional litter mats would work because my cat will pee on any throw rugs or mats for some reason. BUT, she has not had an accident outside of her box with this tray, and it keeps the entire litter area tidy and clean, I just use the hand vacuum on the tray or wipe it down! I just wish I would have thought of this years ago as my cat is now 13.

This Crate Pan works great as an "under-sink" tray/pan for a 36" kitchen sink cabinet.........
This Crate Pan leads a re-purposed life in my house. After repairing a water leak under my kitchen sink, I began to look for a pan (with a lip) that could protect the base of my kitchen sink cabinet from further damage if another leak should ever occur. This pan is a PERFECT fit inside my 36" wide sink cabinet. The normal under-sink pans were nearly $60, so this one was a big savings and may even be a better solution since the material seems really sturdy. Obviously, my review of this product is for its purpose as an under-sink pan, not as a dog crate pan.

No training required.
Great product. I purchased this with an artificial turf product to fit inside. Together they work amazingly well. Our 8 week old puppy immediately recognized this as a potty area. He poops there regularly but does not urinate there. This took no training. Somehow he recognized the texture of the artificial turf as similar to the grass and we did not have to train him. Even our cats have occasionally used it. Great product and would purchase again.

Heavy duty!
Great replacement tray for my Midwest Life stages 1624 crate. It fits well and is made of very heavy thick plastic. The pan is a little bit textured so it's not slippery for the dog. The midwest plastic trays are much better quality than the cheapies you find in big box stores. Although they fit the 18x24 inch crate they don't actually measure that size. They do have to be a bit smaller to fit between the bars. Actual measurements are more like 17 3/8 x 23 1/4 I was NOT compensated in any way for this review. Perfect for what I wanted.
I actually purchased this tray for our cat's litter box area. My cat likes to dig and throw litter everywhere and even a hooded box wasn't keeping the litter contained. So I bought this tray and placed the litter box on it. Now the majority of the litter stays nice and contained inside the tray. It's awesome! I will likely be purchasing another one in the future.

PERFECT.
This replacement pan obviously fits perfectly into the 36 inch long MidWest dog crates, but additionally will also fit into others of a similar size. We've cracked a few pans accidentally since they're not made of heavy plastic and being able to replace just the pan at such a reasonable price is a blessing. We have five dogs, and one occasionally chews the sides so we've replaced other pans because of this. One pan also cracked on its own from rubbing on the wire bottom. I highly suggest placing a scatter rug under the pan and between the wires of the crate to prevent slippage, but it's imperative that the rug is smaller than the pan and doesn't protrude as it could create a choking hazard to your dog. This is necessary because the pan does tend to slide a little bit, which creates rather annoying sounds when a dog moves around. Also, if you have an older dog who tends to have accidents, sometimes the benefits of having an extra pan can be really helpful. A friend told me she replaces the pan in the middle of the night when there's an accident, leaving the soiled one outside, and then hoses the dirty one down and cleans it off the next day. I can see where this might be extremely beneficial. At any rate, it's a good pan to have.
