I don't pay for pedicures, so I needed something to keep my feet soft. I've looked high and low and found three products that work great. Out of those three, this is the winner. One of these creams is Neutrogena. It softens the feet well, but feels greasy and smells weirdly sweet and medicinal, like an old lady. Not pleasant. The other is Hemp foot protector by the Body Shop. I do like the Hemp cream, it works well softening the feet and has a creamy but not greasy feel. It too has a smell you need to get used to. It has a green, hippie smell, also medicinal. (when I would wear this my coworkers would complain that they could smell Bengal!). The price is a drawback as well. 20.00 is steep. Even on sale it's 10.00. Then there is this cream. It goes on creamy, but not greasy. It soaks in fast so you can wear sandals soon after you apply it. This cream has no fragrance at all. Nothing. It's wonderful, it won't clash with other products you are using. It softened my feet beautifully and fast. I did not experience any burning or stinging, but I didn't have any cracks. The price is good too. I got it for 7.00. Not as cheap as Neutrogena, but with the extra dollars. Better price than the Hemp protector. And being fragrance-free, this beats the others hands down.

Works wonders for this barefoot girl

I have tried EVERYTHING but because I am barefoot all the time my heels crack (gross!!!!!!)...a lot. Sometimes they split open and it can be incredibly painful. I've tried creams, lotions, oils, you name it. Upon the reviews on Amazon I thought I would give this O'Keefe's foot cream a try because I had recently had a split appear and it was super painful to walk on. After about three days of applying this cream at bedtime the pain started to go away because the healing process was kicked into gear by my skin finally being soft enough to to its thing. It leaves a weird residue on your hands after application (which could probably easily be washed off if I wasn't already cozied up in bed) but it made all the difference for my normally cracked and dry heels. I notice I get much better results when I use it daily (so if you skip a few days...you'll notice it won't work as well). Consistency is key but it really does work!

Amazing!

This stuff is amazing. Seriously. My feet have been cracked non-stop for probably the last 10 years. I've tried literally everything- Pedicures, Ped-egg, Gold Bond foot cream, lotion every night with socks on, pumice stones, that ridiculous mouthwash/shaving cream home "remedy"...I was just about to buy a foot chemical peel when I saw this and figured I'd give it a shot before spending $25 and having 2 weeks of peely feet. I'm 32 years old and was incredibly embarrassed by my feet. After the first week of using it nightly (no socks) I was still a bit skeptical because there was a slight improvement, but not much. The second week I was like okay, we're getting there... The third I was like THANK GOD! Something has finally worked! After 4+ weeks my feet have never been better. They are still a little surface dry, probably because I only use it at night, but there are ZERO cracks in them. I haven't used a pumice stone or gone to get a pedicure since I started using it, so my results are only because of the lotion. I do scrub them down every other week or so with a buffer just to keep them soft. My only complaint is that the lotion is thick, so I don't like the way it feels on my hands, but I expected that given that it's for cracked heels and less creamy lotions won't work as well. Overall, I couldn't recommend this more. I know I sound like an infomercial, but I can honestly say this is worth every penny. One jar used once a day will last you probably about a month and you can buy it at bed bath and beyond for $6.99.

I wouldn't blame you if you threw up a little looking at the before and after pics. I'm 30 years old and thought to myself "my good feet days are in the past ". I'm originally from Miami so it's almost 365 days of flip flops or open toe shoes. I tried EVERY lotion, special Dr. Prescription moisturizing lotion, even at home foot scrubs and soaks, overnight foot wraps. NOTHING WORKED! So fed up, I always go on Amazon to read reviews and see what other people have tried. I came across this lotion. Figured what is there to loose but less than $10. So I tried it. From DAY ONE, it soothed my Crack heels. My heels were so badly cracked it hurt to walk. I honestly don't know how my feet got to this point...I even purchased a pumice stone, the "as seen on tv ped egg". Nothing works as good, and as FAST AS this lotion. I am so happy I feel like writting a letter to the company telling them I am SUCH A HAPPY CAMPER! No more being shy, embarrassed how my feet look. I'm telling you, my feet were in such bad shape that even after scrubbing with HOT WATER, SOAP AND the pumice stone...my heels still looked dirty because the cracks were so deep. My 10 year old kid said "Mom, did you wash your feet"? Super embarrasing. Now I go to my Yoga class barefoot no embarrassment. I can go to the beach with my nice looking feet and of course wear my sandals with confidence. AMAZING!

I have worked on my feet since I was 16 (nearly 40 years ago). Lots of bad callouses and dry skin. This stuff is sooo amazing I have no words! Well, I do - so let me tell you. I purchased the Microplane Colossal Pedicure Foot Rasp, Large Surface Foot File and this and together I have baby soft feet again!!! The foot rasp is great, no pressure needed with it like with others, you just gently stroke it over the callous and it takes off so much of the dead skin. I've used the O'Keefe's hand cream in the past and then lost the container and just grabbed Jergens from the grocery store. (MISTAKE!) The hand cream and this foot cream - wow! Skin is so soft now. No greasy residue, doesn't take long to sink in, and my skin really looks better, hydrated and 'plump'. Going to try the hand cream on my face next, see if that helps with some crows feet and dry patches. A little swipe of this with your finger will cover most of your foot, so don't go digging in it to 'lather' it on. The mineral oil in it helps to continue to slough off the dead skin to get to that soft skin underneath the callous and dry skin. I can't recommend this enough. I've tried all manner of other brands, and pawned them off at work in the bathrooms for others to use. You MUST try this!!!

Give it a couple of weeks

I'm honestly quite surprised at this product. I have pretty nasty feet, especially at the heels. I normally use the cheese grater tool on my heels/balls of my feet every 2-3 weeks and while that works, it usually leaves my heels a bit sensitive after use (and I still have some roughness on my heels after using them; I've gone too deep before and that is a lesson I've learned). I'm on week 2 of using this foot cream (after seeing it on a TV commercial) and I have to say the results are pretty amazing. My heels are healing and while I still have some thick and rough skin on the heels, it's been dramatically reduced. The heels actually look somewhat healthy (the bottom of the heel is taking some time). Best part is, the skin isn't tender as it is after the cheese grater. I've debated using the cheese grater to give my heels a boost and then continuing on with this foot cream, but I'm gonna give the cream another week and see how much better it gets. I'm only using it once daily, and I've even missed a day or two here and there. No photos, because...gross.

This + Silicone Heel Covers = Miracle Soft Feet

Love this stuff! Been living with cracked feet for YEARS! Stuff is a miracle! Tips: 1. Instead of wearing a sock which I find absorbs the cream (a waste in my opinion) - wear a silicone heel protector for 15 to 30 minutes after applying. The silicone will hold in the moisture in instead of absorbing it. This is will allow your foot to absorb the cream fully. I fully believe the reason my feet healed so fast was because I used silicone heel pads with the cream. 2. Do not apply this cream and expect to be walking around anytime soon after. It is a very greasy formula (that’s a good thing for your foot!) - I put it on right before bed and read a bit while it works. I take the silicone protectors off and go to bed immediately after. 3. It tingles a bit but I didn’t find it overly annoying. I used it once a day only at bedtime. I saw results the morning after.

THIS STUFF WORKS. Like most everyone else, I have tried every paste, cream, solution, pumice stone, skin grinder etc. to find something that would get rid of the thick, ugly and painful cracked skin on my diabetic feet. Five months ago I purchased some O'Keeffe's based on the Amazon reviews. I AM ABSOLUTELY AMAZED! After two weeks (with only one daily application) my feet looked and felt like a babies. I am not kidding. After each application, I put on a pair of lightweight socks to make sure none of the O'Keeffe's cream was wasted. This cream is not greasy at all and is absorbed very quickly by the skin (goes on clean and stays on clean). Was so impressed that I purchased a 12-pack and simply apply it once a day after showering. Great product. As a bonus, one can re-use the very high quality round container to store any number of things - breath mints, gum, toll booth change, cell phone wires, stamps, paper clips or whatever. LOVE IT.

Where has this been all of my life?

Since I have been an adult, I have spent 10 years in the military and the last 7 working in the Oil & Gas industry. I wear steel toed boots a lot! Sometimes these boots are on for more than 12 hours a day! That being said, for approximately the last 17 years I have dealt with dry and cracked heels and feet that are itchy on the bottom (not from athletes foot but from dryness). I have tried many other lotions and creams which left my feet feeling greasy and then dry again in 5 minutes. My wife even uses an Amope foot grinder on my feet several times a week and applies some expensive moisturizer to them with no improvement in the last 2 years! With O'keeffe's in less than 1 week my feet are doing much better. The best thing about this stuff is that I apply it twice a day only, once in the morning and once in the evening. My feet never feel greasy afterward, and remain moisturized all day. It's a different feeling from normal lotion too. They don't feel greasy, but are definitely not dry! This is the perfect product for a guy with rough feet that does not want to apply girly lotions and creams all day, another nice thing about this product is the lack of scent. I highly recommend this product! O'keeffe's will refund your purchase if you are not satisfied, so what do you have to lose?
