The exact distance I needed to extend my trailer wiring

The 4Runner trailer connection is pretty far off to the left side of the hitch point so the cables for many trailers will often be just a tad too tight which was the case with our light weight utility trailer. I thought about cutting and extending the wires on the trailer but this was easy, inexpensive and for the last months has worked just fine.

I got these to cut in half and use as quick disconnects for the off-road lights on my front bumper so when I remove my grill I don’t have to keep cutting and resplicing my lights. I wash my radiator and ac condenser off as to keep mud and crap out and cooler her in az and it makes one less job to do. These are 12” long need to end and the actual length of wire is 9”

Amazing little extension, my new truck wouldn't reach my trailer's wiring harness connector. This saved me having to bust out the soldering gun to extend the wires.

This extension is exactly what I needed. I pull many different trailers and a lot of them are pos.

Despite what your wife might think 12 inches is not very long. Make sure 12 inches will be enough to do the job. Nothing worse than coming up short. For me it was just the right size and all that was needed to complete the connection and allow enough slack to make full turns while pulling the boat trailer.

cheaper than buying just replacement ends. It works good to keep in the truck if the lights go out...cuz they always will eventually

Perfect length to add that little bit of wiring when the trailer wire is short.
