VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, STURDY, LOOKS GREAT, JUST WENT THROUGH 4 STRAIGHT DAYS OF ON AND OFF HEAVY RAINS AND DIDN'T LEAK A BIT. IS VERY ROOMY. I LOVE IT!!

Durable and easy to put together.

My husband put this together in no time. We have several of these that have been outside in the Florida sun for 3-4 years. They are showing some fading, but none have cracked, and they don't leak. So we bought more to store cushions and pool supplies. Even the ones with the chlorine bottles are holding up. Best deal is through Amazon, we paid much more through other websites.

Spacious gardening storage bench.

We used this bench all summer. It was very easy to assemble and it's great for holding potting supplies and the like. It took longer to cut up the huge box for disposal than it did to assemble the bench. We've had one person sit on it at a time, but not two, and it's seemed to hold up very well. It does have loops for locking it, though since those are plastic, they could be cut through with bolt cutters or even sturdy sheers. So I wouldn't suggest using it for things that are very valuable. But for gardening supplies, it's perfect. Everything inside has stayed dry, even through heavy rains.

Its big!! So i had the parts sprawled all over the driveway ready to put it together when all of a sudden my husband pulls in the driveway and accidentally runs over the corner of the lid part of the bench but it barely made a dent in this tough guy!!! Very durable and lots of room inside and on top for guests!!

We have moved the container to a spot that does not get the wind currents and it is working great. Lots of storage space for pool and yard ...

This is our second purchase of this container. The first one worked so well we decided to get a second one. The container has proven to be water tight so far as long as the lid remains shut. Our original placement of the container left the container open to wind currents so the lid did open as it does not have a lock. We have moved the container to a spot that does not get the wind currents and it is working great. Lots of storage space for pool and yard stuff. Very easy to assemble.

solid, no leaks

I have had this solid storage bench for a year now and it is holding up excellently. All items I have stored in bench (umbrella, 5 chair cushions) have stayed completely dry and mold free. I do not lock the box, but it is possible to do so (there is a latch that you can see on front middle of lid in picture). It has withstood many fierce rainstorms and no leaks at all. It comfortably holds my 5 chair cushions and 9 foot diameter umbrella top, but I have no room for more than that. We do sit on it (2 people total of 210 pounds), and there is no bending or buckling. One thing you may need to know...it can't be pushed against the side of the house (or up against anything) because the lid needs about 6 inches of space behind it to open and close (see pictures below).

Overall great, waterproof, lockable, storage for your outdoor area.

Edit: After a long Chicago winter, I opened this up in the spring and everything inside was safely secured. No snow, rain, or critters got in. Excellent purchase! Took me about 20 minutes to assemble and was straightforward. I've had it a couple months now and it is perfect. It holds a good amount of gardening supplies and outdoor kid toys. We've had several rain storms and not a drop has gotten inside of the storage area. It has kept chipmunks, spiders, and other pests out as well. It supposedly doubles as a bench and I got bench cushions for it, but it is a bit high to be a regular bench in my opinion. If you're in a pinch, it works as a bench I guess. Overall great, waterproof, lockable, storage for your outdoor area. I would suggest it for sure!

A tight box, perfect for outdoor use.

This is a NICE Box. I have had a few different types of boxes in my day, but this box closes down tight. It is a firm and well constructed box, perfect for sitting on. Holds PLENTY of toys. It is fa solid box compared to the cheaper boxes you may have had in the past. The term "You get what you pay for" DEFINITELY described this Box!! Enjoy!

Great Unit with a Lockable Lid

I love this Suncast unit. And for those who think the lid can not be locked, Suncast sent me this photo which does indeed show that the lid can be locked. The shackle goes through the lid hole, and then the lid is lowered and the shackle is put through the base unit. This is a Master 3DLF lock according to Suncast.
