Best nicotine gum on the market, love that classic flavor. These are more firm than the generic alternatives and I swear last longer. The only thing that drives me crazy is how difficult they can be to take out of the blister packaging. That is the case with almost all gums I have used, though. Love this stuff, it's way overpriced at my pharmacies so this is a good place to get it.

It Truly Helps Even After 55 Years

After 55 years and ending at 2 packs of Camel Wides a day, or more on a bad day, this is what helped me . I am now at 9+ months without even a sneak-puff and there are 3 packs in my pantry. Now, I admit I definitely chew the maximum plus a couple, but the doc says chew all I want as long as I want- you have to go way overboard to "overdose" and even the FDA has changed its tune on how long to use it-now, for as long as it takes. I prefer the original flavor since one can tell when the peppery "kicks-in." I keep chewing it past its delivery point just as pacifier. I suppose at some point I''ll have to back off the gum too. I have not found a better source than Amazon, especially since I am Prime and no shipping added. The day I quit just "came out of the blue." There was no breathing related incident. Supposedly I have minimal evidence by X-ray or stethoscope that I had smoked so much and so long. But the bad stuff can come anytime with no warning. I am still glad I quit and surprisingly have not even come close to lighting up. The gum helps a great deal, and I recommend it. It does have forms of sugar in it but my regular dental checks are not showing incipient decay.

Just right amount

being i wasnt a heavy smoker this time around (sixth), so the 2mg pieces were about right, (took 3 at a time, for stress control) then 2 then by the time i was near end of the box i didnt need that last piece, chewed it anyways because i dont like to waste anything :-) its has about same flavor length as juicy fruit, about 3 bites..

This is a great price for this product. It is cheaper than ever the big box stores. This gum really works. You can chew a piece and get the same satisfaction as smoking a cigarette without the hazard. I used this gum to quit smoking and have no desire to smoke anymore. This is a great product at a great price.

I use all the time and Nicorette does the job. No smoking for over 10 years. I am 71 and quit when I was 61. Regretfully the damage of smoking has already been done. STOP SMOKING AT ANY COST, IF YOU CAN.

Good value, works for me

Taste is fine -- I'm not interested in any of the flavored options. It doesn't take long to adapt to how to use it. I couldn't use this alone so I use it in combination with a 7mg patch and chew two pieces of 2mg gum a day. Otherwise I end up getting tired of chewing the gum. The FDA eased its guidelines earlier this year so you can use nicotine replacement therapy for longer than 12 weeks if you need to and you can combine therapies if that works. Just be sure to count how many milligrams a day of nicotine you're getting so you don't overdose. The 14mg patch was too strong for me, so the combination of the 7mg patch (which gives a steady source of nicotine I don't have to think about) plus this little bit extra is perfect. The Nicoderm patch is the best and it gives as consistent a dose of nicotine as you're going to get, but it still wanes a bit over time. I shower and put on a new patch at night which contributes to some vivid dreams but it's what works for me. I wear the patch 24 hours a day, chew one piece of gum around 2 PM, and the second around 8 PM. If I showered in the morning I would have the first piece of gum around dinner time and the second near bedtime. I have purchased a 110-piece package of the gum on sale plus a $15 off coupon at the pharmacy. The regular price of the original flavor on Amazon is comparable to that (39.94 ($0.23 / piece) currently) and the Subscribe and Save price is even cheaper. I'll use nicotine for the foreseeable future because I can't seem to do without it. As my doctor said, it's the smoking that kills you. This is cheaper, is saving my life, and I'm happy with the product and the outcome.

My Favorite Brand And Flavor of Nicotine Gum

If you are trying to quit smoking then more power to you. Or maybe you like that extra edge that nicotine gives you. I no longer use this as it effects my blood pressure and irritates my stomach but hey I no longer smoke so that's good. This Classic flavor is easier on the palate than some knock off brands. I'd say this was my favorite brand and flavor back in the day.
