Love the turtle fur neck warmer

Extreme Alaskan Living!! Love the turtle fur neck warmer. Snow machining long distances in cold weather(-10f) you need the double layer. The outer layer gets frosted but the inner stays dry.

Perfect for the outdoorsman. Holds up to whatever challenge comes its way.

As a family of three we are everywhere no matter the weather. We wear these neck warmers everywhere. I raise natural raised hogs with my Dad. So they are not confinement. In turn we are outside for 5-6 hours a day. I have no problem with my neck getting cold. It fits an average sized adult well. It is long enough to put up over my nose and mouth for an extra chilly day. My husband's experience is a good one as well. He rides motorcycles on the ice. They put screws in the tires for those of you who don't know. So to be outside for a couple of hours going 60-80 mph around a circle and still have a warm neck is amazing. If he can't find his, mine will disappear and back and forth we go. That is how much we love them. Lastly my seven year old is a sledding fiend. He will sled for hours on end. He wrecks and just gets covered. No issues with this doing the job. It also fits him quite well and he is average size for his age. Him and his buddies will also trek around the timber and it does well. I have let his friends borrow mine and their moms often ask were to get them. It does well in the washing machine as well.

These are great. They are extremely comfortable have soft warm fleece. These are the exact product that many ski resorts purchase and add their resort logo to, so that is a testament to their quality. They come with a couple of cute stickers and I mean this is just a great little neck warmer.

Keep Your Face Warm

Got my turtle fur neck warmer today, and it's exactly what I wanted. It's a very thick, double-layered fleece that seems like it will be a lot warmer than a regular scarf or other types of neck/face warmers. It's also quite soft and comfortable to wear, no itchy fleece here! I'm happy it's stretchy enough to stay up over my nose without being uncomfortably tight. Only thing about it that's a little different than what I wanted is the color. I ordered it in Poseidon Blue, and it's not even close to the purple-blue color shown in the picture... instead, it's a bright teal color. But whatever the color may be, I'm looking forwards to keeping my face warm this winter.

Dogs Love Them Too!

Okay, call me crazy but I buy these for my dogs. They are sporting dogs, not little foo foo dogs. I was working at a thrift store where I volunteer and one of these was in some clothes that were donated. My 100 lb Yellow Lab was with me so I slipped it over his head. It fit perfect! Plus, surprisingly he seemed to like having it on. It looked very good on him and it's not something you see on dogs often if at all. It had the Turtle Fur label in it which led me to Amazon. Since then I have bought several and I get compliments on them all the time. I buy the kids size for my beagle. Now in the winter when the dogs see their Turtle Furs come off the shelf their tails start wagging like crazy because they know they're going out!

Very Warm, Comfortable, Quality Neck Warmer

I bought this neck Turtle Fur Heavyweight Fleece Neck Warmer for taking walks on cold days in the mountains of North Carolina. The wind chill here can be very cold. This neck warmer is less bulky than a scarf. It fit easily over my head and is very warm and comfortable. I'm 5'5" tall, weigh 103 pounds and have a 13 inch neck.This fits a bit large, but fulfills my purpose of keeping my neck warm. I'm not subtracting any stars from my review because what can one expect with one size fits all! Had I wanted to use this as a face warmer, I would have needed a smaller neck warmer.

Super warm and soft

I work outside doing habitat restoration. The last two weeks have been cold, wet, and miserable. I wear turtle neck shirts to work but they just weren't keeping my neck warm enough. I also tried wearing a scarf but it kept unwrapping and getting in my way. So, I decided to order the Turtle Neck. Oh my goodness, it is so warm! It's also incredibly soft. It covers my neck completely, and if I pull it up, it can cover the lower half of my face, as well as part of my ears. I'm so happy I got this for work. It really makes a huge difference in trapping heat.

A polar vortex must!

I originally got this for running as I have asthma, and cold air aggravates my lungs. With the polar vortex, I've also been using it for the walk to/from work. It's wonderful in both scenarios. When I hike it up, it keeps my whole face (up to my eyes) toasty warm, and when I run, it also keeps the air going into my lungs warm, so I can focus on getting my workout in and not my lungs closing up. It is a little thick for this purpose, though, and perhaps the single-layer would have been better for running, however right now with the temperatures being well below freezing, I'm extremely happy to have the warmth of the double-layer for being out and about.

Great! For a kid

I purchased this for my young daughter to wear while playing outside in the snow. It’s perfect for that. I’m so glad I got this “adult” size instead of going with the kid size in another listing, thanks to reviews. My daughter would have never worn the tighter version, and this is a good fit. Won’t fall down, but also not overly tight on her. As an adult, I can’t imagine wearing something this tight around my neck, but it works for an average sized kid. It’s thick, and perfect for outdoor play. Definitely kept her face warm this past winter, even on the coldest of days in the mitten state.

Love my new TURTLE FUR!

Here in the arctic South Dakota plains and working outdoors you need something around your neck or your face will fall off in the wind. I've had a lot of Turtle Furs in my life and this one is just as good as the rest. The only thing I would like to see is if it could be a tad thicker-not too much just about 1/8" like switching from 200 to 300 polartec. I don't know it still does it's job so that's all that matters. THANKS TURTLE FUR!
