I bought this stapler, but then they switched us to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll, I'll, I'll.... buy a new one on Amazon because it's a good deal.

Everything I was hoping for

Office Space is my all-time favorite movie and I was so happy to find such a great replica of Milton's stapler here on Amazon. Everyone in my office is well aware of how much I love the movie because I quote it back and forth with coworkers almost weekly. They have all been as impressed as I have with the stapler and a few of them stop by my desk just to use it. It's a bit heavier than your "typical" stapler, but it is sturdy, metal, and extremely smooth when it punctures stacks of paper. Easily one of the best purchases of my life. I plan to keep it forever, making sure no one takes it, of course :)

Super heavy duty

If you want a sharp looking stapler that will help you pick up co-workers of the opposite sex, buy this one. I got the chrome color one. Super heavy duty, stylish and amazing productivity. Some girls like big trucks, some girls like big dogs and some girls like big, good looking, heavy duty staplers. I am going to buy another one for my house. This product is the best! More than a stapler...a great conversational piece UPDATE: It got stolen right off my desk. Probably my a male coworker.

Great stapler...get one...spend the extra money for quality.

Just got it...and it quickly replaced my Bostitich B440 on my desk. I didn't think I'd ever switch over to Swingline...but I did. It's not that the Bostitich is a bad stapler...in fact...it has provided 20 plus years of good service and still works like a champ. It's just that the Swingline 747...as pictured here, is better...quieter...staples more pages...as tested by me...and, it's red. So, what's not to like. I paid less than $12.00 for this on Prime...so that was a no-brainer. Strange how different colors cost different prices, even when stocked and sold by Amazon. This Rio-Red 747 was cheaper than any of the other colors. Tip...to use it as a tacker...there is a lever on the bottom that has to be pushed so that it will open up all the way.

An awesome, heavy, shiny, beast of a stapler.

Exactly what I was looking for! Super heavy, sturdy, feels satisfying to use and heavy duty. It won't budge from your desktop. Oh yeah, and sooooo shiny! It was immediately popular at work and I quickly purchased another one for at home. I'm grateful this product exists because it's surprisingly hard to find a stapler that is even at least $5 a piece! You get what you pay for. It may sound silly, but I do genuinely appreciate it when I can pay more money in exchange for a higher quality product. I don't know how this stapler will fair over time, yet. If it breaks at some point in the near future I'll try to remember to update this review! While I'm not going to use it so much at home, its true durability will be tested at my job where the stapler is going to be used every 5 minutes, 24/7. I'm sick of using broken staplers! I finally brought in my personal stapler recently (that I had had for over a decade)...and they somehow managed to destroy it by the end of the week. I'm praying this one will fair better. Sidenote: Why does the product review ask me to rate it on "lightweight??" I don't know who is in charge of that but they should really change it. The whole point of this product is that it ISN'T lightweight...at least that's the sole reason I purchased it. I'm glad I can choose to not rate it on that but regardless...IMO it should either be changed to "heavyweight" or deleted entirely.

The only stapler you’ll ever need, period!

This is hands down the best stapler I’ve ever used. Its very well built with all metal construction. The red paint is nice and glossy, even finish through out. I use cheap generic staples and still able to staple well with pin closed. My printer papers are thick, I staple about 15 pages easy. This stapler is rated for 25 pages but I think I must use the premium swingline staple brand to get all 25 pages. Swingline is best known for their stapler and this one is like an icon. The name 747 model stands up to its reputation. With the lifetime warranty, it gives you an unbeatable performance stapler for the heavy duty use. Even though the new production is not made in usa, I still strust swingline in their 747 product line to be a solid performer.
