So I must confess, I bought this not really knowing for sure why we needed it but after ready multiple blogs on the "must have" items needed for an RV, I let my fingers do the buying on Amazon Prime. My husband said what is this? I said not sure but we need it. Well after our first trip my husband thinks I am a genius...lol He said I don't know how you knew this was important but we needed it. Thanks to the many bloggers!!!

We picked this up as an add-on item to have as a spare should the current one on our Camco filter decided to start leaking...not that that has ever happened to us ;-) We recommend keeping and extra one handy...they don't take up a lot of room, and sometimes the filters don't have one included. It could also be used on the fresh water hose if you'd like to ease the bend...some spigots can be a tad far away from the RV

These are my favorite connectors to use because of the easy grip end and they don't take up a bunch of unnecessary space. I'm a full time RV'er for a long while now and I've burned thru a few of these from rough handling, but I'll always come back to this one only.

I am full time in RVs. I have three RVs each having one of these strain relief devices. I use these devices at the shore end of the hose. The water pressure where I use them never exceeds 55PSI. I have no issues with leaks on any of these. I do replace them once a year. I wonder if others who have leaks have high pressure issues. I noted one critical review said they even used pliers. I have weak grip in both hands and I use only my hands in work gloves to tighten the connection.

All of the short hose extenders/anti kink pieces I could find in the local stores were extremely hard to get a good grip on. But this baby has a giant, easy to use hand grip on the female end. I really like this little wonder, and find it unique among similar products. I've seen ton's of reviews of this item indicating very poor quality materials, so we shall see if it holds up over time under the hot New Mexico sun...

This is a very simple product that can save you a LOT of hassle. If you have a hose connected to a spigot and when it is turned on it usually falls at a 90 degree angle and the flow is restricted. With this simple, cheap and durable adapter you have no flow restriction hassle. Overall I would highly recommend this product to anyone that uses hoses a lot.

This little doo-dad has saved my 3 year-old, weather-beaten hose. If you have a hose connector that makes your hose bend up like mine does (I have a two-hose splitter), you will rip your hose or the weather will make it crack. This takes all the bending for the sake of the hose and the quality and finish on this is great. The connection to the hose is leak-free, the spring has enough tension, but still allows for bending, which is exactly what I needed to save my old hose. Great Product!

This is a must for any camper. It attaches to the hose connector on the camper itself so that you aren't bending the pipes or kinking the connecting hose. It's small and low profile, making it easy to store in between uses as well.

Works as advertised, Stops hose bending. Also protects your female hose connector end from faucets with questionable threads. This will screw to the faucet and your hose to this attachment. Cheaper to replace recked threads on this than a RV hose or plain garden hose.

We use this to attach the incoming water to our travel trailer. It's inside the storage Bay and is a little awkward. This has made it a lot easier to attach the water. Seems to be well made, doesn't leak. Could be a little longer.
