Exactly as described. The height is good and can accommodate a lot of files and file folders even with tabs on top. I was very excited to use two of these file boxes to replace a two drawer filing cabinet that was taking up too much space in my house.

Sturdy and Sleek

Sturdy and Sleek; purchased some fancy gold trimmed hanging file folders to supplement. Purchased this for my 18-year old grandson to start him keeping his important records therein. Too bad I didn't get it before he lost his high school diploma....

These are the best

I have 2 of these file boxes purchased about 25 years ago. I wanted to purchase 2 more but couldn't find any. I ended up buying 2 similar but a little smaller and cheaper in quality file boxes. When I saw these on amazon, while looking for something else, I was very happy and bought 2 to replace the 2 cheaper ones. These are the best, if you need portable file boxes.

Easy to use.

This is a sturdy portable file box. I am using it for folders containing various sizes of recipes I have clipped from the newspaper or magazines.

Just what I wanted.

I had one of these first when I was about 19 (I'm now 41) and I STILL have it. Knowing how sturdy it is is what stuck with me and had me seeking out another one. It is a little annoying in the fact that the lid won't stay open but nothing that I can't just deal with. It comes with hanging folders which I like so it was perfect for my needs.

Good Quality.

Perfect file box. We have a very small cabinet we keep our printer in. Needed a place to keep important documents. This was small enough to fit inside the cabinet, store out of the way, and out of sight.

Easy way to get organized

I have a horrible habit of throwing my mail in a pile every day, and then sorting out random piles later on. This handy bin has helped me to organize my mail in a timely fashion. It included a few hanging folders too.

Your standard file box

This is just what I was looking for. It's your standard file box, nothing exiting, but definitely better quality than the others I have. Those lids come off and so the lid snaps always seem to break. This lid is attached at the back and the front closures seem sturdy.

Another box to check on your adulthood list

I bought this to replace my previous file system that was much smaller. I haven't gotten around to transferring my files over, but it has served nicely as a makeshift bedside table for some time now.

Perfect Filing Box!

This was just what I wanted. I bought a wooden file cabinet prior to this one & the wooden one turned out to be nothing but a hassle if you used more than 5 files. This one held about 15 files & it's so easy to get to your documents. A fair price & it arrived quickly!
