It writes like a dream
The first thing I want to say is that the shipping was timely, I got my product earlier than I was expecting. It writes like a dream, like a pen but with the benefit of being able to erase. However, as we know, all that means nothing if the eraser is terrible. The eraser is fantastic, especially if you are a writer or artist you will not have to fret about black stains. One of the few products I feel meets the expectation of the consumer! Thanks

Best brand!
I bought these to go in a used pickle jar to sit on my nine year old's desk. BIC has the best products! They are sparkly and the colors are random (more blues and greens in one package, and more pinks and purples in the second package). These are easy enough to add more lead to, but not to easy that a baby could pop off the top. Do not leave around small children. Lead is dangerous! My daughter is using these for drawing and school work. I bought paper and a how-to-draw book with these. I also bought a stationary kit. Perfect gift for a nine year old. BIC brand is the best!!

Bought it a year and a half ago, still using it
Excellent quality, long lasting. Bic is a good brand. Price is a little high, but I never remember to look for pencils when I go to the store. Much cheaper than real pencils which don't last at all. You sharpen it a few times, it breaks, there goes the pencil. Plus you pay a $20 for that electric sharpener and then you have to dump the shavings all the time. And good wood pencils ain't cheap either. I use these pencils for my son's home school. They are all over my house, can always find a pencil when you need one, and I haven't run out of lead either! Now I am ordering another box for Christmas.

Amazing pencils from a college kid!
Really fashionable, pretty pencils! If you're a parent, please consider buying your child these pencils! They are SO pretty and they write really well. I have yet to see the lead shatter and I have been using these for almost 2 months now. Buy these, you won't regret it! PS- the pencil pouch is actually a makeup bag I bought here on amazon by clinique!

Made This Teacher Very Happy
I was thrilled when I saw this 24-pack of BIC mechanical pencils at such a great price on Amazon. I bought 4 packs. As a teacher of Middle school students, I am constantly lending out pencils to unprepared students who promise to return them, then mysteriously find myself "out of stock" at the end of the week. I have my suspicions that my 13-year old boys are snacking on them, but I can't prove anything. Seriously, these pencils are great, and my students prefer these, hands down, to regular wooden pencils (sometimes I hand them out as prizes and the kids love receiving them). My gripe with wood pencils is that every two minutes it seems the point is breaking and I have students sharpening pencils all throughout my class period. These pencils eliminate that disruption, because even if the point breaks, which isn't too often, since these particular pencils are a sturdy .7mm point size, with two clicks the students are back to writing. We recently took our state-wide standardized tests and my school made it mandatory that we use wooden #2 pencils and throughout the entire 2 week testing period when I replaced dozens of pencils with broken points, sighed over greyish smudges on open response questions, and sharpened dozens of pencils daily, I found myself dreaming about using these pencils. These BIC pencils are top quality; other mechanical pencils jam, or snap, or the erases fall out or leave smudges on the paper, and these pencils don't do any of that. From this teacher's point of view, these are the best mechanical pencils out there.

Broke college students must buy these!
I got these pencils for myself. I used to purchase the more expensive ones, but it was hard to find eraser refills for them after the initial erasers wore out. These were really inexpensive, and while not fancy, they get the job done and I know I will always be able to find refills for them. If I cant? No biggie, they were cheap enough to not feel too awful about tossing them. We used these when I was a kiddo in middle school and now I am using them (a few) years later in college. So, like I said, I imagine they wont be discontinued. I love the colors of these! They are bright and they sparkle. The barrels are a bit think for my preference...I like the thicker ones, But I got a rubber gripper thing and added it and now they seem fine. If you are looking for classic pencils, inexpensive but able to be refilled with lead and erasers, I highly recommend this one. They aren't fancy, but they will last. For a broke college student, they are a win for me!

All around great pencil!
Love these pencils! I have not had great experiences with mechanical pencils in the past but these are by far the best I have used. My kids wanted some mechanical pencils but I was apprehensive. I didnt want cheap pencils but I didnt want to pay a lot either because kids lose things, and leave pencils all over the house, and can never seem to find one when they need it. After reading the reviews on these I went ahead and ordered. I will definitely order these whenever we need more. The lead is strong and does not break easily (my 6 year old is even using them now). The eraser actually erases. They just work great. Now we can give our pencil sharpeners a rest.

These pencils work well and are affordable
I love how these pencols write and this is my second pack. I tend to lose pencils, whethe my kids take them, my classmates "borrow" them, or they just get misplaced. These are cheap enought that replacing them doesn't break the bank, but they are still nice. They don't squeak when you write with them.

Great Little Mechanical Pencil
I purchased these mechanical pencils for my kids. 13 and 15 they've come to see the light of mechanical pencils, pencils you don't have to get up to sharpen. I purchased BIC because I like just about everything BIC makes, and because these are/were a good value. Value is important because the kids go through a lot of them during the school year. They lose them and loan them. Plus they actually use them. These are top loaded pencils with a very good eraser. The lead makes a suitable #2 line and the eraser doesn't smudge nor destroy your paper. The kids find them comfortable. Adults like me might want to get those squishy make-stick pens and pencils comfy adapters. You get 3 lead segments per pencil and they are throw away, there are no additional erasers or anything to purchase to make them last longer. I RECOMMEND if you are looking for an affordable throwaway.

Great for school assignments
We purchased these pencils while they were on sale. I used them for college assignments, and my daughter had taken some pencils to school for her high school assignments. The pencils write smoothly and fit well in our hands. The lead was easy to dispense. As with any mechanical pencil, it is important not to press down too hard or the lead will break. We prefer using Bic products for our pencil needs. I recommend these pencils.
