At 185 pounds and 6 feet tall with a little MMA background, I figured I could handle myself in heavy situations. Well, when two imposing lads wanted a little tussle I figured I'm not a connor McGregor so I respectfully declined. They persisted. I hit one of them in the forehead with this mace and in a matter of seconds he was a kneeling, sobbing mess on the floor. His POC (thats partner in crime for you rookies) was a little worried and decided to fall back from the altercation. I would have to say this pepper spray turned an ugly encounter into a quick pascifier. I'd recommend it for broads and fellas alike.

The Saber 3 in 1 pepper spray is THE go to if you're looking to give yourself some peace of mind. Sure you can go to Cabellas, or Walmart, or whatever and buy the little key-chain ones, but when you're considering your own personal safety, seven or eight bucks is what one might consider a 'steal'. Some people complain that this doesn't have a key-chain attachment to it; and I think that its done on purpose, and I also think that its a good thing its omitted. Think about the circumstances where you may need to use this spray. Now think about all of the locations your keys may be located. If you're lucky, your keys are sitting in your pocket and you have quick access to this. If they're somewhere else, like your backpack or elsewhere, you now may only have a few choice seconds to locate, detach, grip, and spray while an event occurs. Having only a small pocket clip encourages people like you and I to keep this spray close to the hip, or in a spot that's more easily accessible. Now onto the power of this spray. I am not in law enforcement, or any other profession that trains with devices like these, but I do live in a big city, and occasionally find myself out past dark. My biggest concern wasn't necessarily humans, but dogs as well, so stopping power was a huge concern. Some of my friends and colleagues also stated concerns that pepper spray doesn't 'stop someone in their tracks' and if the attacker is determined enough, can force themselves through the pain for a few seconds extra before succumbing. After waffling between this and a taser, I am glad I chose this. I have not been pepper sprayed before in my life up until I purchased this; but I had to know. While stupid, it was a great learning experience. My friend lined up a quick burst as I attempted to come at him. It is impossible to force yourself through the immediate, searing, white hot, flesh melting, brain numbing, fever inducing pain that washes over your entire body upon being sprayed. Determination simply does not come into factor here, as no human being on this planet would be able to concentrate on anything other than 'oh god help', after being on the receiving end of this little device. Your vision entirely goes within the first two seconds, your lungs a second after that, nausea and stomach pain come shortly after that, and everything only intensifies for the next five minutes. I'm not a woman, so I don't know what child birth feels like, but being pepper sprayed was probably the closest I've ever come to meeting god in my life. My entire body became a raw nerve, exposed to the outside world. I was, for an endless 20 minutes, a quivering mass of snot, tears, mucus, and various other jelly-like liquids. The only other time I've experienced a perception shift such as that was when I took acid back in high-school. It was an almost religious experience. All for only $6.99. I can't recommend this product enough.

Very happy with my purchase. Before buying the Sabre, I had large and older pepper sprays. I much prefer the small form factor of the Sabre. I bought 2. One for me, and one for my wife. Mine proved very valuable the 2nd night I had it when my dog and I were attacked by an off-leash German Shepherd! I was walking my Border Collie around midnight when this German Shepherd came running at us out of nowhere. At first it sniffed me and my dog, then started attacking! I quickly intervened as I grabbed my dog and pushed him aside, yelling at the German Shepherd. I lucked out when the German Shepherd stepped to the side and started coming at me! That's when I sprayed him in the face, and he backed off immediately! God only knows what would have happened if this uncollared and unleased dog kept attacking us! Here in Ohio (and i've lived in several states), off-leash dogs are an epidemic. Something needs to be done.

If you have never been pepper sprayed, you have no idea how effective it is. In a police defensive course I was sprayed, and it is hell on earth. Trust me when I tell you it's not like the movies, where someone gets sprayed and thirty seconds later they are fine. After being sprayed, in real life, you have at least a half hour of blindness, skin on fire as though acid has been thrown in your face, and more fluids coming from your nose and mouth than you thought possible. Important to carry pepper spray for self defense, and Saber is one of the best. Get it, just for peace of mind.

Sprayed my self in the face so i can rate this product. Oh man what a mistake! It is fire 🔥 🔥. My eyes poured tears for 3 hours and my nose ran like crazy for about a day! I had to call out of work the next day because my eyes were so blood shot. I definitely recommend using this on a attacker! But not on your self!! Spray and run. Be safe everyone!

I work in a state prison and this is the exact stuff we use. I have been sprayed with saber red in my training and used it in my job several times. I can tell you it does work! I purchased this for my 23 year old daughter.

I now have three of these. One at work since we can't carry in the building, one in my purse and one in my car. I always take this when I go for walks alone. I love the clip on the side as I can attach it to my cell phone arm band.

First let me say I am a CCW holder have been for 8 years so by no means am I an anti gunner, I strongly support our 2nd amendment right to bare arms. That being said I hope the day never comes that I have to use deadly force. Carrying a non lethal option as well gives me piece of mind that I can handle any situation accordingly. The canister is very small easily able to be a part of your EDC. The clip option is nice I guess for some I will say it’s not a deep pocket style clip so it’s fairly noticeable if clipped on your pocket. I personally carry it in my non dominate left side pocket opposite of my firearm giving me ability to get to quickly and not interfere with getting to my firearm if lethal force should be necessary. This is a great self defense tool for anyone, it’s extremely light weight fits in your pocket or clip on belt easily and allows you to keep or get distance from the threat. IMHO it is far better than a taser which can be much harder to deploy and most require direct contact with Sabre you can spray from distance. Bought one for my wife as well to carry on her (don’t recommend carrying in purse, just as a firearm does no good if you can’t get to it). I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a self protection tool, it is quick and easy to deploy and has enough bursts to neutralize multiple threats if needed. I like most hope I never need the self defense tools I carry on a daily bases however it’s far better to be prepared than not.

I bought two of these, one for my sister and one for me, so that we could take them with us to college. Mine has a permanent home in my purse and is always within arms reach in case of an emergency. It's small and easy to hold in your fist. Thankfully, I've never had to use this on somebody, but just having it with me makes me feel safe. The plastic part that has the clip on it can be removed, I don't know if that was the purpose of it, but It fell off my sister's bottle. It's easy to put it back on. Its size makes it easy to hide under a shirt when it's clipped to your pants or inside your hand. How to use: Give yourself a thumbs up for buying this product. Then place the pepper spray in your palm so that your four fingers wrap around the body of the pepper spray, the part that has the writing on it. Place your thumb next to the red lever that sticks out. This red little lever can be slid from side to side. That motion either 'opens' or 'closes' the little hole that the pepper spray shoots out of. NEVER AIM THAT HOLE AT YOURSELF. ALWAYS HAVE THE RED LEVER POINTED AT YOU, NEXT TO YOUR THUMB. Hold the pepper spray at arms length away from you and slide the lever to the side that exposes the hole and point it at your attacker's face. Press down on the lever and watch a strong stream of pepper spray assault your attacker. Run away. (Again, I've never used this on someone, but I have practised using it outside when I first got it to make sure it worked and to see how it worked. You should do this too, just make sure you're not pointing it at someone.) PROS: ~exactly as described ~small and easily transportable ~easily hidden ~can be clipped onto clothes ~simple to use ~no fear of it going off by mistake ~works as mentioned CONS: ~None really. i love this stuff. i had this exact kind before. it was easy to use, no shaking to activate it or mix it. this stuff even survived my car fire and my car was fully engulfed. i don't even know how. i did have it in a leather carrying case so maybe that helped. i did have to use it once. my besties boyfriend was, well out of line and when i went to her house the dude tried to hit me with a car door and got out and raised his hand to hit me like he had been doing to her. so i sprayed him right in the face. came out red, made him run away and the cherry on top, it ruined his brand new beaming white ball cap.
