THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: NONE Pros: 1. You cannot see through it. 2. The back shows the problem WITH answer, and the front shows the problem. UNLIKE MANY OTHERS, they DIDN'Tt put a different problem on each side, which necessitates covering the answer with your fingers. THIS one is perfect. 3. They round one of the corners. This is ***brilliant***....it allows you to sort them quickly so that the correct side is up! Really REALLY well thought out. PS. Make it a requirement to do these before any TV is watched. :)

These were exactly what I was looking for! This is a complete set of multiplication flash cards that includes zeros through twelves. Many sets only go through tens or don't include ALL the facts for each specific number. Each card has one multiplication problem on the front (minus the answer) and the exact same problem on the back WITH the answer. These are great for learning the multiplication facts and can be used individually or with a partner.

I've been using these with my daughter for months. They have held up excellently. I have them wrapped in rubber bands by number (2s, 3s, etc.) and they don't bend under the force of the rubber band. On the last card of a set, yes, you can see through it, but we just put the blank card (included) or another card or set of cards behind it and block it. I wouldn't want these cards any heavier, so I just don't find this a problem. This includes every combinations of numbers up to 12 x 12, which most packs lack. They are big and clear. Also, one day some of these fell out my car, and I didn't realize it till I got home. They were all over the driveway--soaked with rain! But they didn't rip, and they didn't blow away. They were warped, though they probably would have flattened if I had pressed them while wet. And more importantly, we can still use them. That speaks quality to me. What else can I say. They do their job and they do it well. I think I'll try to flatten those and then donate them to my daughter's school when we are finished with them.

Just what my daughter needed for school. But contrary to what the description says, although the cards are thick and good quality, they are see-through if you hold a single card up and can see the answer from the other side. Not a huge deal though. We also have the addition and subtraction sets and use them all the time.

We were interested in keeping multiplication skills up over the summer. To me, the most important criteria was that problems would be shown in reverse order (example: 2x3=, 3x2= ). This set fulfills that need. Some folks have commented about children being able to see through the cards and have the answers revealed. I felt the cards were thick enough to hold up against normal wear and tear, although it is possible to see the answer if you hold the cards up to the light. We came up with a simple solution by placing the cards in a pile. The child then reads the problem, guesses the answer, then turns the card over to check to see if he is correct. This works well, and allows children to be able to practice on their own. The rounded corners are a great feature, allowing anyone to quickly sort the cards so that the answers are all face down.

These cards are great quality! The card stock is a decent thickness and the numbers are large. It also contains every possible combination up to 12X12. I've been using these cards daily to teach my young daughter her multiplication table and she is rapidly memorizing it all using only these cards. After her multiplication table training is complete I will donate the cards to her school.

These aren't the cheapest flash cards, but BEWARE OF OTHERS. These are the only ones that have a separate card for ALL the math facts and have it without the answer on one side and with the answer on the other side. All the other ones I found here cut corners by not including all math facts or putting different problems on each side. They are also printed on thick durable cards, not like flimsy ones I've seen. I have purchased about 6 sets for my classroom, but this last set is for my daughter who is just going into 3rd grade next year.

This includes all the facts not just a random sampling. The answers are on the back. The cards ARE see through but if you have another card behind it, your hand behind it, or lay it on a table, it's fine. The cards are also great for teaching algebra. I made a magnet with an X on it, and hang the answer side of the card on the whiteboard/magnetic surface, and cover one number with the X magnet. My 8 and 11 year olds understood "solving for X" right away when I showed it to them line that.

Front shows problem without answer, back shows same problem with answer. Every fact has its own individual card. Example: There’s a card for 3x8 and another card for 8x3. Exactly what I wanted. Not transparent at all. One corner is diagonal for easy sorting and shuffling so that all cards face in the same direction.

I bought this brand for addition and subtraction (along with others), but these were the only ones that held up perfectly with my twins. Also, they’re thick so answers can’t be seen by the child when you’re holding them up. This is the only brand I buy now.
