...and I love the fact that these are made from pure salmon. A perfect treat! I’m having difficulty finding this product in local pet stores and have heard that the company is discontinuing it? Really? Just in case it’s true I bought several boxes on Amazon - please keep making this excellent product!

One of my cats was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I was looking for a high protein treat to give him to make a positive association when I give him his insulin shots. These are pure protein, as the only ingredient is salmon. He has never been a fan of any kind of cat treats but he gobbles these as if he were a cat who just came across a piece of... salmon. My other cat loves them too. Also, I was worried that they would have a short shelf life, but the expiry date gives us plenty of time to use them without them going bad. They do come in larger pieces, but I just cut them with a scissor to make smaller pieces for the cats. Very happy I found them, and even though they were expensive, they are well worth it.

My cats would sell their other lives for these treats. If you are attempting to train your cats or just want to give them a healthily treat- this is orth the money. I have written a review on this stuff before. The salmon is twice as expensive as the chicken. My cats prefer the chicken, but I get the occasional salmon just for variety. This also must be REFRIGERATED. Also, some of the treats are too large and should be broken up. The salmon doesn't break well, so I used kitchen scissors to dive them down. There's always some crumbs or powder left in the container with I'll sprinkle on their dry food to make more interesting.

I love that the ingredient list is tiny and they're pure protein, My cat loved these like mad but ended up allergic to Salmon. He was being super picky about food and treats because he was on chemo treatment but these he still would have eaten if they didn't make him itch like mad. Neighbor's cat loved them too. Bought them because they were pure protein and I wanted him to eat as well as possible.

Okay, this product says it is for cats AND dogs, so I was intrigued. What I didn't realize was that it was freeze-dried salmon, which is why ALL my animals went nuts for it - duh! My schnauzer loved them, but ended up with diarrhea, so no more for her. But my two cats, wow, they ate them like crazy...I had to give them a couple right away, but they will nearly bite your finger off if you don't wash your hands after handling the snacks! I love that this has one ingredient only, so thanks for that!! It was a huge hit for all the pets in the house, cats and dog alike!!

Well, *I* don't love it. But my Lord and Master does, as well as his Lady Friend. We call it Kitty Krack, and the merest shake of the jar will bring them running from whatever dark lair their Majesties are napping in. In fact, if we have a delivery or repair person coming, one shake of the Kitty Krack jar will instantly get them locked up in a guest room for the duration. They know they're getting played, and yet the lure of Kitty Krack is so strong that they don't even care. If you want to honor your Feline Overlords with tribute (or get them out of the way for the cable guy), keep a jar of Liv-A-Littles on hand at all times.

I had to put my 6 month old kitten on a limited ingredient diet. There are a lot of limited ingredient and Hypoallergenic foods out there (well not a LOT, but at least options), but good look finding limited ingredient treats for cats. Good luck finding any cat treat that doesn't have chicken or chicken meal in it. These pure salmon treats were the only thing I could find, and thank goodness, my cat LOVES them! She purrs when I get out the container, and barely lets me break them up into her bowl before eating them. I usually get little salmon crumbs all over her head because she will shove her way in there...even when we open the fridge, she tries to poke her head in there to see if she can find them :) I've found that it is really important when raising a cat to be able to reward them for good behavior. Positive reinforcement is the key, and I wouldn't be able to do that without these treats. Thank you Halo! The salmon sprinkles are also great for encouraging them to eat wet food if it's not their favorite thing.

My black male cat loves these treats so much he sits by his treat bowl to give me his sexy eyes until I put more treats in his bowl. Salmon are his favorite but he likes the chicken and the beef, too. My Maine Coon female hates them so much she gets offended if she sees them. They are worth trying. If your cats hate them, throw them outside for the birds, they love them. ABOUT THE TEXTURE: these are like soufle which has been dehydrated. They are soft and spongy. If they are too big for your cats they cut easily with scissors or knife.

My Persian cat loves these. The pieces are big and there aren't all those little "shreds" that other much cheaper brands include. I use them as a special treat for her. For only one item, $15 is too much. I thought I was getting a case of 12 because that's what it said. I only received one, and Amazon gave me a refund so that's all good.

My puppy Peka love it very much. The only way for me to get her inside is use this treats. She love it, as soon as she hear me unscrewing the top she ran in and sit right in front of me waiting for the treats. If I use other treats I have to kind of treat Peka to get inside. But with Halo Liv-A-Littles all salmon she love it.
