I absolutely love this scale. My favorite part is that you can weigh the clothes and diapers and etc that baby has on inorder to weigh them more accurately. I bought this because my baby's on the smaller side and the Dr said baby wasn't gaining weight properly. So I bought this scale and changed his feeding habits and keep track of his weight gain with this. So far he's improving and this scale keeps me worry free. My older toddlers love checking their weight with this as well.

We are having some weight issues with my infant so I bought this to keep track of her weight myself instead of constantly going to the pediatrician’s office. I read the reviews on several scales and I was still skeptical to even purchase this one. I was wrong because this scale works perfect. I check my little ones weight a few times a week. The weight on this scale matches the weight at the doctors office with their scale. It is totally worth every penny. I hear it’s good for small animals too but I haven’t tried that myself. Just on my infant baby. Just know if your baby or even animal moves too much, it bounces up and down a few ounces. A calm baby gets the best reading. I weigh my baby when she seems the most happiest which is first thing in the morning.

We used this to weigh our baby because he was under weight and we wanted to monitor his progress he loves it!

Is sensitive enough to measure changes in a newborn's weight. Just need to keep them centered and fairly still. I wouldn't fully trust down to 1\2 ounce though. That being said to build confidence in the product I checked this against a bag of sugar, bag of flour, and 2 different size weights. All reading around half an ounce of target.

This scale works great. We had a baby that was 5lbs and 11 oz and I wanted a scale to weigh baby regularly and also gauge how much she was eating at feedings. This works very well for those needs.

(I do not use this for a baby.) One of my cats needs to be weighed daily to monitor her poor health. This scale is simple to use, seems to be accurate (weight matches up to scale at the vet), and it's the perfect size for all the cats. I even use this scale now for all the snakes; I used to use a food scale (in a pillowcase) but they are too big for it and spill off the scale. My only complaint is that it's a bit ugly when left out but all the cats, besides the one I intentionally weigh everyday, like to nap in the scale for whatever reason. I cannot speak about the weight limit as none of the animals I weigh are over 11 lbs. I'm also not sure if this is a great price but it helps me keep everyone healthy so it's worth it to me. (The batteries I had to get for this seemed a bit pricey.) -Anne (Andrew's wife)

I've used this with 2 babies now. First one had a lip tie and wasn't gaining enough. I had to keep tabs on him while supplementing/building supply back. It was great. Second baby I started using it the day we came home to make sure he was gaining right (no ties with this baby) seeing how much he gains every week is reassuring and exiting! Highly recommend if you need it, buy it!

I love my scale. I do cat rescue and these are what my whole rescue uses. I volunteer with one of the biggest cat rescues in Minnesota. We have several. I've had mine for a few years and I've never replaced the batteries. It's very accurate, very easy to clean, and very easy to store.

I can't believe how much SIMPLER life is with a scale that actually works with squirming puppies. I love the "HOLD" feature because the weight changes as they move around that that feature gives you a solid average. I'm telling all my breeder friends about this - a scale that is affordable and does a wonderful job!!

PERFECT for a worried mommy whose baby was "slow to grow"! I bought this because my daughter in her first few months was slow to grow. She lost 9.5% of her weight in the hospital, just missing the max and almost had to stay longer. She didn't reach her birth weight for almost two months. Her pediatrician was suggesting we supplement with formula, but with my boys' dairy issues, I didn't want to take the chance. The pediatrician said that he would like to see her DAILY for three days to have me weigh her before a feed and after a feed. Luckily, we passed that test. She was getting enough milk, but for some reason, she wasn't thriving. She was only in the 8th percentile. The pediatrician set a goal for her weight gain within a week, and just barely, she passed. Well, "just barely" sends up red flags of worry in any mom's brain, so I wasn't satisfied. And instead of paying the $50 co-pay to visit the doctor daily (not to mention the travel time and time off of work), I decided to buy this for under $100 and weigh my daughter regularly. Luckily, my daughter continued to gain slowly and then she started taking off. Now, as a 20-month-old she is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight and I do not need the scale. I used it for a while as a toddler scale but then donated it to the La Leche League in town, to help other worried moms. The scale is super easy to use and super easy to clean. You just wait for the zeroes, lay the child on the little top part and wait a few seconds. Of course, watch your baby at all times, in case she or he tries to roll or wiggle out. Best peace of mind ever!
