Leaks! Uninteresting to cats.
Love this little pool! It's the perfect size to stretch out in and float. Use the inflatable ring as a pillow and put float tubes under you legs. Amazingly relaxing! And yes, like many others have stated, the pool leaks and you know what, it doesn't matter at all--unless you're planning to place it in your carpeted bedroom (which would actually be kind of cool), or put it on the living room over your hardwood floor. I've had it a month and I notice little leaks in the form of wetness and an occasional runnel coming from the bottom corners. I'm probably leaking a half cup a day. No biggie. Perspective here--It's a $40 bag of water--and worth every penny on a summer's evening. Tips: Take your time forming your pool as you're filling it; get all the wrinkles out of the floor and push the walls out (takes about 10 minutes). Buy some test strips, add chlorine and other chems as needed (not often). Use the inexpensive Intex cover; It helps keep the pool clean and works to warm the water. Importantly, get two pools. One for the kids (think cloudy water and floating bandaids), and one for the adults. Finally, I almost didn't buy this pool because I had nightmares where my two cats repurposed the pool as a scratching post, or worse, they'd jump in and forget how to swim. Neither happened. They avoid it completely (helps to splash about a little when you first set up the tub so they associate it with water). Happy floating!

Wonderful deal on a great pool
Great Pool! This was so easy to sit up. Lay a tarp (not included) Lay pool on top and air up rim. Then toss in the hose and check it every several minutes until the wrinkles on the bottom are out and the corners are filling with water. Then wait for the pool to fill with water. This is a great size. Not for younger children under 6 unless you have floaties on them. The size is true. Getting children in and out is a problem. You have to lift the out and over the side. If anyone pushes down on the inflated area it will let the water run out of the pool. So I think lifting the children in and out is easier. We have the smaller size and paid just as much for it in a local store. I saw this online and now we have both sit up. The cheaper one was not very honest about the size. Wish we had checked amazon first. This is a great deal!

Great little pool!
This was awesome while it lasted. I do wish that it had come with the filter and not just a box of hoses... that was sort of a teaser. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this, and it would likely still be in use, but a squirrel, for some reason or another, decided to chew a hole in the base of it while it was filled with water. We actually sat and watched this happen, and while I'm sad about the loss of the pool... it was completely worth it to see the squirrel reap the rewards of his effort as the side of the pool finally split and he was washed several feet away in a sudden deluge of water. That was a very surprised, and very wet squirrel. If I'd gotten pictures I would have shared. Since I have douche bag squirrels living my my yard, I've decided to purchase the hard sided pools for my dog from now on, but this really was easy to set up, and I love that it comes with the ability to hook up a filter and you can buy a cover for it and everything.

2 years and going strong.
This is the second summer that we have had it and its holding up nicely! I didn't know what to expect when I bought this, other than not expecting it to last more than one season. I even got lazy and left it in the backyard after draining it last year. I expected to have to replace it but I was pleasantly surprised when It had no holes and is still holding up. The quality is definitely better than those kiddie pools that I'm used to seeing. My 6year old loves it and its big enough for my wife and I to get in with him. I would definitely buy this again and I recommend it to anyone wanting a step up from the cheap kiddie pools. I leveled the ground with leveling sand and then put a tarp over it to help with erosion and to give me piece of mind.

Just What I Wanted
I don't have a huge back yard, but wanted a bigger pool for my son. This works great. It's deep enough so he can float in it and wide enough so that an adult can easily stretch out and relax. I have to admit that I love leaning my head against the pillow-y edges and cooling off while my son paddles around me. I don't have any power outlets outside, so I couldn't get a filter. It's not hard to keep clean without one. I keep it covered when I don't use it, skim out the gunk that manages to fall in, and add chlorine every few days. I did change the water after about a month and it took about 10 hours for the pool to drain. This isn't anything bad against the pool, just plan accordingly. It took about an hour to fill. It did take a while to set up, but it wasn't difficult. What takes so long is spreading out the bottom to make sure it's smooth before you fill it up with water. So don't panic if you think you can't do it. You can. It just takes about 45 minutes for one person to make sure the bottom is perfectly smooth. The pool cost around $50, the cover about $8, the chlorine around $20, and a net around $15. So for under a hundred dollars I got a pool that has been used every day this summer.

Our community has no pool and it is HOT and the kids need a place to cool off!
So excited this was exactly what I was looking for this summer. Our community has no pool and it is HOT and the kids need a place to cool off!! We couldn't be happier đ!!

Easy to set up
Easy to set up, perfect size for my 8, 2.5, & 1 yr old. Will probably want to upgrade to a bigger size when they get older. Got the Intex Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 530 GPH Pump Flow Rate, 110-120V with GFCI to go with this and it's been working great. Also got the pool cover for this size and that's been helping to keep leaves/pine needles out. Our well water has so much iron in it, we had to get a water softener system (couldn't drink it or shower with it, it was horrible!). I tried so many different chemicals to try and remove it to no avail. So I decided to try to solve the problem at the source (the hose) instead of trying to solve it after the fact. Got the Camco 40013 TastePURE KDF/Carbon Water Filter, I believe it's used for RV's, hooked it up to the end of the hose and wabam! No more yellow water! No more iron! I finally have crystal clear pool water! I did have to make sure I didn't turn the hose all the way up as reviews said if the water pressure was too high the filter would crack, so it took a little over 3 hours to fill this pool. I did also add 2 oz of hth metal and stain defense after filling (just to make sure). The next day I threw in the floating chlorine dispenser and still, no yellow water! Anybody that's dealt with iron/minerals in the water knows it gets worse when you add chlorine, but that camco filter took out the iron so now I had crystal clear clean pool water! Just wanted to share my triumph because I was getting so frustrated with the yellow water problem.

Perfect pool for a few small elementary aged kids.
Was a great little pool for my 4 and 6 yr old sons. Next summer I think I will go a little bit bigger but this size was a good starting pool. I set it up at the beginning of summer and didn't want to have to keep changing the water so I bought these accessories also on Amazon to keep the pool in nice condition all summer: Intex 1000-Gallon Filter Pump AC 110 to 120-Volt Hydro Tools 8715 Floating Mini Tablet Spa Chemical Dispenser Kem-Tek 2815-6 Chlorinating Tablets 1-Inch Pool and Spa Chemicals Hydro Tools 8051 Promotional 4-Foot Telescopic Pool Skimmer 8' x 10' Dry Top Heavy Duty Silver/Brown Reversible Full Size 10-mil Poly Tarp item #208108 Intex 58910E Pool Ladder for 36-Inch Wall Intex Round Solar Pool Cover, 8-Feet I set the pool up in our driveway on the concrete. (it was the only flat/level spot we have) and it worked really well. I swept away any rocks, laid down a tarp, then spread out the pool and filled it. I never had to change the water all summer. I hooked up a filter pump, and kept a floating chlorine dispenser in the pool when not in use and I plan on doing it all again this way next summer, only I might buy the next size up pool. I plan to just throw this pool away each time rather than try to store it and clean it. For only $40-$50 each summer, I can just get a new one. Now that I have all of the other accessories (solar cover, ladder, skimmer, chlorine dispenser, tarp, pump), I'll only need the pool, chlorine tablets, and a replacement filter for the pump.

Great product! Even fits in a dorm room!
Fit in my dorm room wonderfully! Was actually a great hot tub when filled with hot water! Will enjoy this product many times again. And it comes with patches incase a bottle breaks and rips the sides!

This ended up being perfect for us
This ended up being perfect for us! Our community pool is pretty gross and overcrowded, and our two year old daughter is still learning how to swim. We had a little plastic kiddie pool but I wanted something that was big enough for me to get in and practice with her. Itâs short enough for her to stand in when fully filled, but very generously sized... I would guess you could easily fit at least 5 adults in it comfortably if you wanted. The set up, while simple, was a little tedious at first. Youâll want to make sure you stretch out as many wrinkles as you while you are filling it up (but before it gets too heavy) otherwise it will end up lopsided and wonât hold its shape properly which is what I think some of the negative reviewers missed in their setup. Our backyard is not 100% level so it does pitch slightly to one side, but it hasnât affected the integrity of pool so far.
