Just what I required to add a spare tire to the rear of my Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail XT. It fits with the standard steel back bumper, and with an added bolt hole in both this and the bumper, an added bolt makes it good and solid - no flopping around or flexing.

Used as spare tire carrier on artic cat wildcat sport.Works great doesn't block rear view or take up trunk space like the artic cat bracket does. Also it is 400.00 less and easy to remove.Used stowaway hitch tightner to make a tight fit and stop any rattles.

Heavy duty, thick paint job, works great. Put it on the back of a Ford Escape to hold a spare trailer tire. I also used the Curt dual hitch adapter to mount this tire carrier to the hitch, while simultaneously mounting the tow ball to hook up to the motorcycle trailer.

Use it to carry the spare on a Vintage travel trailer. Just what I needed. Looks great too. The angle is both practical and "jaunty" looking, especially with a vinyl cover on the tire. I needed to shim the shaft where it slides into the receiver to keep the wobble down. Unlike a towing hitch, the heavy tire develops some lateral forces under way and can get to rocking pretty hard. The upright creates, in effect, a "moment arm" that amplifies the weight of the tire when lateral energy is applied. I just cut up some old key cards from hotel stays and slid them in on three sides to fill the space, wrapped the edges with black vinyl tape and it's as solid as can be. No wobble in almost 5000 miles of towing.

Best solution to relocate spare tire when theirs no where else to mount it.!!! You'll have to get pretty creative on mounting your license plate to be visible. Also added my rearview camera to the plate.

I have an class C RV and I needed to get the spare tire off of the rear bumper, where it had originally been mounted.. I had a front receiver installed on the RV and then purchased this hitch mount spare tire holder to get the spare tire up front. It does look a little odd due to the slope (the tire faces upward a bit) but it is solid. I always add a "no-sway" attachment to anything that goes into a receiver. That really makes it solid. I like the Curt brand. American made. American steel. Sturdy. Has a great black finish. I would buy again and I would recommend.

Quality is great!! Very sturdy and solid. I have a 295/70r17 toyo rt.. but understand u wont have access to the back unless u remove the whole thing which is about 120 lbs.. but for the price I cannot complain 5*

I was looking for a tire carrier for a Polaris RZR XP 900. With the addition of a receiver this tire carrier is perfect. The tire sit in just the right place, not too high and not too close or far away from the body of thr RZR. The workmanship and quality is top notch! Great buy for the money, I could not make one for $80!

Purchased this piece as well as the hitch for a 98 jeep grand Cherokee, we did some cuts, added some bolts to make a hinge system so the mounted tire will fold down to allow for opening the back door. It works fantastic! No more tire in the jeep and open space in the upper rack for more toys.

High quality. I hung a 34 inch wheel and tire off it and went 4-wheeling in some very rough terrain. No complaints. Solidly built and easy to set up.
