Great Product

My go-to for wallpaper removal. Use in tandem with the paper tiger tool. Does what it's supposed to; has a bit of a funky smell though.Try not to breath it in or get it in your eyes as you're using it.

Excellent Product

Excellent product worked very easily. I can't see how you could find a product that worked any better. I really don't see how you could give it less than 5 stars. Perforating the wall paper was easy I used the Paper Tiger. The ball rolled over the wallpaper and you could do a wall in a few minutes. I followed this will this remover. I used WP Chomp . The product worked better than just hot water. I let it sit 10 minutes an easily scrapped it off with a 6 inch metal putty knife. Then I clean with soap and water (who could use a brush or pad and then I wiped down with paint thinner and then lightly sanded. It was easy

We bought a couple of bottles of this on a recommendation from a friend. We were taking down wallpaper from the kitchen and bathroom after Hurricane Harvey remodeling. All you do is spray let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute and then start to peel or scrape with a plastic scraper. We did end up getting everything off in the kitchen but gave up in the bathroom because the wallpaper was more stubborn than my six year old niece. We are having the contractor rip that sheetrock and replace. Though I would definitely buy this product again if I needed it in the future.

DESERVES 10 STARS!!!

This product is everything it says it is! Just received it yesterday and using it today removing wallpaper (sometimes two layers) off of paneling. Pleasant smell no coughing/choking/gagging and am using in a small bathroom without windows! Amazingly easy. Can not recommend enough!!!!

WallPaper is STOOPID.

BUY THIS NOW!!!! Amazing product and I used it on wallpaper, metallic gold with green leaves (umm), that some yahoo glued to the drywall. Sprayed it on and the paper peeled off. It smell like apple cider vinegar to me, blech, other than that it is AMAZING! I even did my mom house and got rid of her ugly wall paper too!

Liquid = amazing/magic, bottle = cheap brittle plastic

Cannot say enough good about the actual liquid product. The spray nozzle however on these bottles are extremely cheap and I ended up having to pour it into a recycled Windex spray bottle (every one of these bottles have had issues with the sprayer handle sticking and eventually breaking, I went through 3). The liquid products works like magic, trust me. Definitely buy the scoring tool to help create a bunch of holes for the liquid to soak through. An extra 2 minutes of scoring and soaking will save you hours of frustration peeling stubborn wallpaper.

Best wallpaper remover.

WP Chomp made a usually tough job extremely easy. The hardest part was waiting the recommended 5 minutes to scrape off the wallpaper, and even if you don't and cheat a minute or two, it still works.

OK, I'm Convinced

I have been putting off removing this horrid wallpaper for years, mainly because of the removal horror stories. As it turns out it was rather easy. 1) I used the Chomp scorer. Use it gently moving it in concentric circles, horizontal and vertical. 2) Use the Chomp liquid liberally, let it soak, use more, let it soak until you see paper bubble up. If paper is not coming off easily use more and let soak. Key is letting it soak. 3) Use scrapper to start removal. On a large part of mine the paper and glue came off in sheets with no scraping. Other times the top layer came off and the backing and glue needed some scraping. If it's not coming off easily use more liquid and let it soak. Using the liquid is key. I have not removed wallpaper before. This product seemed very effective but I have not used other brands, and I am anything but a handyman.

The only product that worked for my situation

This product arrived on time and as stated. When I purchased my home one of the bathrooms had pink wallpaper that I wanted removed. The paper would not come off at all, I used all of the normal tricks, brand name wall paper remover, steam, scoring it, even used fabric softener. Nothing worked, I was told that the paper was placed right on the sheet-rock and it was not primed first? Anyway, I happened to see Chomp Wallpaper Stripper in my local Home Depot and figured that I would try yet another product. Well to my surprise this actually worked, I still had to add some elbow grease to the project probably because of my particular situation. I used the first bottle, went back to the store and they didn’t have any more so I ordered it online and also bought the scoring tool of the same brand, darn if it didn’t work better too! My bathroom is free of the pink wallpaper!

Great product

Removing wall paper is never a fun job. But after 33 years, it needed to go. While the paper pealed off freely, the backing remained. Chomp did the trick. We tried other products purchased at local store, but none of them compared to Chomp. Spray is on, wait a few minutes 3-4 , go to town. Worked great!
