These don't seem like something that I'd safely expect to protect me from a vehicle that might roll back or forward, but they are built well enough to do the job even though my first impression was that they were too light duty to hold the car. I was going to give these four stars but really, for the money I'd say they are five star. I mean, they were meant to hold a car (van even) on a fairly level surface from a stationary position and they did the job well, at least on asphalt where I used them.

I had all my stuff stored in my garage and couldn't find my metal "Big Red" chocks and needed some cheap ones in a hurry to work on my car. For them to be plastic, they're actually very sturdy. Unlike some other reviewers I was not able to drive over them with my civic or my wife's altima. Honestly I feel like those people had to have felt the car stop and gunned the car to get it moving. Or maybe they don't know to actually how to use them, beats me. These things are rock solid and for the price you can't really complain.

These work great. I've used them multiple times now while working on the exhaust and also the intercooler pipes on my car. I have a 2015 VW GTI, which weighs around 3000lbs. Now, would I be using these on a huge, heavy truck or SUV? Probably not! But for my 3000lb car, they do their job. They stop the car from rolling, do not slide, and do not crush/break.

I'm totally satisfied with these Hopkins Heavy Duty Wheel Chocks. I have only used them with a riding lawnmower, but am sure they'd hold large vehicles in place just as well. Heavy duty, indeed! I would definitely recommend them.

I’ve seen some of the reviews on here, and yes they are lightweight. Having said that, yesterday I used them for the first time for my oil change. They fit perfectly under both rear tires, and my car didn’t move at all. For me they were just right, I felt safe doing my oil change, and I know I’m not going to have to hunt for rocks if I ever get a flat tire. I feel they’ll be just as safe if I have to change a tire on the road. I’d recommend these.

Got these because last time I was parked on a slope my RV trailer started to move. Now I am happy things stay put! I set them behind the tire and roll the camper back a little to ensure they are well seated behind the tire.

They kept my car from moving while changing brakes and shocks. The chocks feel very sturdy and have a sawtooth edge on the bottom for better grip. If you’re worried about vehicle stability while it’s on a jack/jack stands I’d definitely recommend picking these up. Or, you could just cut a 4x4 in half. Whichever works for you.

I've used these for years and for how cheap they are they are very well made. I use them on a 22 foot travel trailer and they've never failed me.

Not really heavy duty. These are made of plastic and a lighter weight. They do work well to hold my Porsche in place when up on a ramp. I just need something light and to hold the front in place when I back up on the ramps to change oil or jack it up to pull off wheels. For the price - you get what you pay for. These are not heavy duty solid rubber chocks. They are plastic with a bottom grip to hold in place.

Pretty impressed...was worried the low cost might mean poor performance. We used two pair to chock the opposite tires while installing new rims on a Jeep Commander and "Beastie" didn't budge one mm. We're going to purchase a pair for each family vehicle to stick in the trunk for roadside tire changes. I DID NOT RECEIVE A DISCOUNT FROM ANYONE FOR THIS REVIEW; HOWEVER, FLOTOOL IF YOU'RE OUT THERE AND YOU WANT TO GIVE ME SOME MONEY I'M DOWN WITH THAT!!!
