Does the job. it didnt fit tightly in the oil pump. I had to have it tack welded to make sure it was going to stay where I intended it to. other than that it was clean, and didnt have any welding or casting slag and junk that shouldnt be there. I'd buy it again and again.

Melling pumps and pickup screens are what I trust for my 1994 Chevy C2500 5.7L 350. The tube inlet diameter on this is 5/8", and is made for the M55HV pump. I highly recommend using an oil pump pickup retainer or tack welding these on ANY brand of oil pump. I had a pick up screen vibrate loose and come out of the oil pump which caused catastrophic engine failure before I could do anything about it.
