Awesome product!
These look great. They fit my 2004 4x4 4.0 Ranger Edge Super Cab perfectly. They look much better than the standard ones that go over the top of the window. They install with preinstalled 3M tape which can literally hold anything in place. Very happy with the purchase, great price, will buy again!

Inexpensive, effective, and easy installation & removal
Summary: These vents have lasted me a long time and actually protected my side windows from damage. They are easy to install and easy to remove. The price is decent for a custom fit product and the in-channel design creates a nice, clean look. 4.7 / 5 stars. Review: I installed these on my Ford Ranger about 7 years ago. I ordered a new set only because a flying piece of debris on the highway hit the side of my truck and broke a piece of the vent off (actually a flying Port-o-potty roof). This vent actually saved my side window from breaking. Now I can attest to the simplicity of installation and removal. The installation is simple and the package includes everything you need to clean the window channel and install them. The whole process only takes about 5 minutes, and it comes with clear and simple instructions. You use the square pad to sand down the interior of the channel. The pad is a bit small but it is not too small to use. After you have sanded down the inside of the channel, you use the cleaning pad to wipe the channel clean. Roll the window down all the way and peel the backing off the adhesive (which is already attached to the visor). Slide the visor tightly into the channel, and roll up the window for 24 hours. The fit is snug but very easy to fit in. The first time I put them on, I even installed them a bit crooked but was able to adjust it before I let it set for the 24 hour period suggested. Once they're installed and set for 24 hours, the windows open and close just like normal. I have manual windows and I notice almost no difference when rolling up the windows as far as friction is concerned. The "in-channel" visor has a much cleaner look than simply taping a piece of plastic to the outside of the door. It looks more like a part of the truck than an attachment that way. They allow my truck to stay a lot cooler in the summer by allowing me to crack my window without worrying about rain getting in. Plus the dark tint provides a little extra shade when the sun is at a lower angle. When I was removing the old ones during this most recent installation, it took a little bit of force to remove them but I would certainly not say it was difficult. I'd say it was a good balance between a solid grip and easy removal. Just peel the visor off from one end to the other. It came off easy enough that I was not concerned at all about it damaging the rubber channel during removal. When I was prepping the channel to put in the new visor, there wasn't any adhesive residue left over. It was a nice clean removal. Pretty good considering it was on there for the better part of a decade. Pros: 1- Easy installation AND removal: The installation is fast and simple. The removal is just as simple, which was surprising considering how well they stay in place to begin with. 2- Lifespan: They have lasted a long time on my truck, and the original vent would probably still be on there if it weren't for the piece of debris that hit my truck. 3- Fit: The fit is absolutely perfect for my truck, I do not see a single portion of the vent that doesn't fit to within 1 or 2mm. 4- Additional protection: While it's a bit unlikely that others will experience the same event that caused my original vent to break, it is possible. If it weren't for this vent, I probably would have had to put a few hundred dollars into replacing and re-tinting my passenger window. Cons: 1- Tint scratching: I wouldn't even call this a con for this specific product, but in-channel vents as a whole. Since it does fit in the channel, when the window rolls up, it rubs against the vent. Over time this has scratched the top 1/4-1/2" of the tinting on the window. Not a huge deal since you rarely see it, but it may be a drawback for some people who are trying to decide if they want an in-channel vent. Overall, I would definitely recommend these vents. They are a pretty good price for a custom fit product, and very easy to install. They have lasted me a LONG time and have paid for themselves 10 times over after protecting my window from highway debris. It was a good purchase and I would definitely do it again (a 3rd time).

Easy to install. Ford Ranger 2011 set
I'm real happy with this vent shade. I took some time with the prep since the truck is 7 years old. Watch the video about how to do the installation! Also read the instructions that come with the shades. You can test the fit ahead of time without exposing the adhesive, so check it out and make sure you have the right shade on the right side of the car. I checked them for fit and set them on the roof above the correct window while I did my prep. I ran the scotch brite through the channel very thoroughly. I didn't use the tiny alcohol prep pads. I had a bottle of 91% alcohol from the store. So I soaked the scotch brite pad with lots of alcohol and ran that through the window channel a few times. The objective is to remove any oil or wax from the felt gasket that window seats in. On either end of the shades there is a short, separate piece of adhesive tape. Take the plastic ribbon off of those AND pull up the 2 inches at the front and back like the video shows.

Great fit.
Great fit. Helps with highway noise on my 2010 Ford Ranger. One thing that I noticed that is nice, it can help block the sun at certain times of day. Good cause I live in teh desert. Helps with the old rangers aero dynamics I think. Good buy.

Bought these to make the interior of my Ranger more tolerable after sitting out in the south Texas sun. They are supplied with a small piece of what appears to be scotch brite pad and two alcohol wipes. If you live in a very dusty area I would suggest cleaning the inside of the window channel felt with the scotch brite pad then using a rag dipped in rubbing alcohol to really get it clean. I kept my windows closed for 48 hours before lowering them. There is much more wind roar at freeway speeds when the windows are down a few inches but it gets better with them all the way down. This is not an issue on a nice day but is something to keep in mind if it's raining and you can't open them completely. I did not notice an increase in noise with the windows up. The visors fit perfectly and look pretty dang good on my truck if I do say so myself. Would definitely buy these again.

Outstanding product, holding up well after months!
I absolutely love these things. I'd heard that the In-Channel could be a pain for various reasons -- getting caught up in the window when rolling up and down, etc. On my 2000 Ranger I had absolutely none of these problems. Installation was ridiculously easy, and I can't feel any difference when rolling the windows up or down. The windows seal perfectly when rolled up. They help keep out the rain with the windows cracked, both for general ventilation and the idiot smoker such as myself. Wish I had bought them years ago!

2011 Ford Ranger
Perfect fit for my 2011 Ford Ranger. It's nice to be able to crack a window here in Phoenix, Az without the car being so terribly sweltering. The windnoise on the freeway has increased due to adding these vent visors. It's not too noticable. I have washed my truck multiple times since (by hand) with the windows cracked and didn't feel any worry because I have them. **3 years later as of now, and no cracks or damage yet. I have tinted windows and have not noticed any peeling or lifting of my tint. I even sold the truck in December 2018 and they were still kickin! No sun damage or fading!

They really look great on my 99 Ranger
Installation took a whole 10 minutes! Very clear directions with everything needed to give a professional looking job. They really look great on my 99 Ranger. No wind noise at all with the window cracked enough for ventilation. Great price too, much lower than my local parts store. Got them in two days!

Love these things
I leave my windows cracked all the time now. When it rains, my car doesn't have that musty smell anymore. And in the summer, my a/C doesn't work, so this keeps my truck from getting too hot. Unfortunately, I only got to use them for a few months before my truck got hit and was written off as a total loss by the other guy's insurance company. But for the few months I did have them, they made it a lot better being able to keep my windows cracked open in the hot and muggy summer weather without working a/c in my truck.

Great product, here's my quick review
Awesome! This was my first deflector purchase and installation is as easy as you think. Just clean, line up to make sure it fits, remove adhesive backing and put in the channel. push them a little towards where it sticks, and then leave your windows up for a day to seal the deal. Two, for good measure. PROS: Durable, thick, nice profile and doesnt stick out too much and lets you crack your windows with zero chance of rain getting in (provided you do not roll your windows down too much, obviously). Feels like they will last. CONS: None at the moment. I've had them for quite a while and so far they are good as new. Note, they do come with a little white AVS logo on the top corner. I personally like the look but it looks like it can come off if you try to take it off, with some effort. Otherwise, it'll stay there. Rain doesnt seem to wear it. Overall im happy, and im sure you will be. Fits my 2006 ford ranger perfectly. Hope my review helped!
