They have worked great with this modification
I read the complaints that these could bend under a heavy load in time so I ordered enough to double them up. I taped the doubled up ones together with overlapping spiral wound electrical tape so they now acted as a single holder. To further allow me to sleep at night, I hooked a strap up going from the center of the front cross piece to the center of the ladder rung the unit was hanging on (or a rung above it). They have worked great with this modification. They have held their shape perfectly under continuous 50+ pound loads. Even having to buy twice the number (and two rolls of electrical tape plus straps) they still cost much less than other carrier options I looked at and they are easy to put on and take off.

Perfect for our Lance truck camper!
After first rigging-up my own chair rack, I wanted to replace it with something more professional that would take minimal room and be easy to take on and off. Although a bit concerned about some reviews that listed this rack as too flimsy, I decided for the price it was worth a try. We've found it works perfectly, and isn't too flimsy at all. It securely holds 3 chairs with a simple bungee wrapped around the chairs and ladder. It is super easy to take off, and fits nicely into the rear storage area in our Lance truck camper when not being used. Perfect for our needs!

Works
This was quick and easy to attach. As you can see in the photos it doesn't interfere with my spare tire or truck box. I had read a review that said it was cheap material so I bought two sets thinking I'd need some extra security. Well there was no need for that and since you can only hang my chair one way probably wouldn't have worked anyway. It is tough hard plastic which I think is pretty good considering they only cost me $32.00. I didn't like the tie down strap that came with it but didn't feel that was worth knocking off a star. I used 2" loop Velcro instead. There is room for another chair or two also. The directions list the wrong size hex screw but they include the right one in the packaging. Well worth the $32.00

Works well
So far this rack is working well. It has enough capacity for an aluminum ladder and two folding chairs.

Secure way to carry folding chairs on RV ladder
Easy to understand directions & included everything need to install. Carries two nice folding patio chairs easily & feels very secure. Going to buy a small, 1/8” padlock to prevent reft. I added short pieces of foam pipe insulation to pad the lower portion of my ladder to prevent chaffing.

Great for the money
The first set I got, I had to return. It was missing from parts from the package. Amazo s always great at taking care of issues. When I got the second set it went on smoothly. However not the clamps fault, but the way my ladder is on my trailer it wouldn't work. I gave the clamps to my neighbor and they work great on his trailer.

Useful to carry items on my RV
Works well to carry a chair and step ladder on the back of my motorhome. Added 2 bungees and a locking cable to the included strap, and they aren't going anywhere.

Good Product
I've used these for a couple of months, including a 1600 mile trip. They have held up well. They are easy to install and easy to use. Mine hold an aluminum step stool, and two folding aluminum tables with room to spare. Update: Oct 2016. Still working well and holding the chairs and step stool over 8,000 miles of travels. A lot of Camco stuff is junk. This product is pretty good.

Great for Camper!
We have this and we have had a similar product. Its very sturdy great for holding a couple lounge chairs on the ladder on the back of our trailer. We know this will work well with some tie downs of course.
