Great price for a great product!
Our 35+ yr old parrot loves this bird food! Amazon sells it for such a great price, especially with Subscribe & Save! We’ve had problems with moths when we purchased this brand at a local pet store. We now freeze the bag for 48 hrs outside during the winter months or place it in our lay-down freezer during the warmer months. Moth problem taken care of!

Great mixture
This is the best mixture for my cockatoos that I have found - and I have tried most every type of feed. I do add some extra unsalted peanuts and nuts but in my opinion it is the best value on the market.

perfect for my Senagal
It is exactly what I ordered. I keep it in a chest freezer to stop the moths. All my parrot food gets moths and keeping it in the freezer has taken care of that. It is an excellent price. My parrot is small and does not eat much (2 tablespoons a day). Out date is Nov 18 , that gives it more than a year. Good!

A great food option for my parrots.
I like the mix of sizes in this formula. I have one parrot that has a congenitally deformed beak and she has a difficult time eating small pieces. With this mix she gets the larger pieces she needs and the smaller pieces to forage and snack on when she is not so hungry. Both my Military Macaws love it!

Good parrot food in a big bag.
Actually, I don't love it, but my parrots do. It keeps them healthy and I've been buying it for years. Sometimes, moths get in it (or maybe the eggs are already in it. That doesn't happen if the bulk of it is kept in the freezer and only a few pounds taken out at a time.

My Blue Front Amazon is one fuzzy Parrot, and she loves this mixture!
My Blue Front Amazon is one fuzzy Parrot, and she loves this mixture! She will ignore food she doesn't like, and yet she ate this right up right away! Will order again!

My Parrots Love This Food
My two 25 year-old Amazons are thriving on this food. It's a very good mix of seeds, nuts, fruit etc. and I haven't seen a moth since I started feeding them this. Also one of my Amazons tends to have issues with other mixes, but has no issues with this. It's more expensive than the traditional Forti-diet but IMO it is worth it. I've learned to stay away from low priced parrot food from the discount stores and mix this with a good fruit pellet blend like ZuPreem. Nice to find a blend like this (Fiesta) that my parrots like and the proof is in their empty food dishes.

My African Gray loves it
I decided to try this out, in great part because I was tired of constantly driving to the store for more bird food. You see, most brands in the shelves are about 50% dust, bit hyperbolic but the amount of plain dust inside bird feed brands is ridiculous. So I ordered a small bag of this to try it, if it worked I would just start ordering it regularly to show up in my door. To my surprise, there was almost no waste dust on this, but that is not the biggest surprise. The biggest surprise was how my African Gray loved it. He never eats that fast, he ate the full serving in record time! For my second order, I went for the 25 pound bag.

A Very High Qualitiy Parrot Food
A very high quality parrot food AND expensive but imo worth it. My two African Grey's LOVE this food. The dried fruits and larger nuts look like a high quality trail mix. To make a more affordable but still high quality food I mix these with "Kaytee Exact Rainbow Food Chunky for Parrots, 20-Pound Bag, Large" and these "Kaytee Supreme Food - Parrot - 25 lbs" for a total of 70 pounds. I stored them in 5 gallon buckets using this lid system "http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005W31TX2/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i01" and these food safe liners "http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001Y0Y8C6/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i01http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001Y0Y8C6/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i01" using the included water absorbers. It seems like a lot of work but the end result is 70 pounds of a very high quality seed, pellet, fruit, and vitamin mix which seems ideal for their nutrition. Of course I supplement their diet with daily fresh fruits and veggies and pastas.. but if I must be gone for a few weeks and their minder can only feed them dry food.. then I'll feel good knowing they're getting all the nutrition they need and a lot of the taste and quality they want.

I suppose it is good...
I can't really vouch for the taste. LOL! However, my parrot seems to like it a lot! I love that a new bag of food arrives each month, without me having to do anything. Don't forget to put your bird seed in the freezer when you first get it so that any bugs contained inside will be "taken care of". :)
