• For fine detail lines and washes

Watercolor artists will not find a more suitable tool for watercolor artwork than Winsor & Newton's size 8 round, short or long handle. The round 8 meets the qualifications to accomplish most watercolor techniques. Unlike sable reds - tacklon synthetic whites hold more color from water well to pallet to paper - and you can see the color on the white brush that will apply to your paper. This particular instrument is what most American universities order by the gross and is provided to art students. Push paint!

These are the best brushes, the others are all hype. Used for oil painting

This is a great brush for applying acrylic paint. It's well constructed, holds it's shape after many, many uses and cleans out easily. The bristles are just the right texture- not too hard, not too soft. Best synthetic brush I've come across. The last one I purchased 5 years ago is still going strong. ...a very good artist's tool!

I'm new to painting and I got two starter brush sets at first so that I would have a variety of shapes and sizes to pick from but I've been painting a lot of things that are small and/or furry and I bought this brush after using another one from the same company. IT IS AMAZING. This is definitely the shape of brush I should have been using before which is a help all on it's own but the quality of the brush is so much better than the student brushes I bought before. I will buy from them again (I already have).

I purchased the Series 233 Round option in #000. The size is great for painting miniatures with acrylic paint. I have had no issue with the brush. It fits well in my hand and is easy to control. Good quality and the size is exactly what I needed for bigger detailing.

These are great brushes and I’ve had them for a little bit. They hold up really well to what I put them through. The hairs maintain a good point and structure. Very well constructed brushes.

Very good brush. Cleans essily. Been using these brushes for 12 years.

Good brush. Bristles are fine and toe holds together after use/cleaning; handle width, length and weight are right for prolonged use; ferrel seems tight.

I haven't used it yet, so I can't tell you much. I was told by someone that uses it that it is what I need, so I got it in a timely fashion and it looks quite durable. Thanks.
