Love these for my teething daughter!! I would freeze breast milk into ice cube trays and then put them in here for my baby to suck on. This would keep her entertained for quite awhile! Great for frozen fruit too! A staple item! I always include these in any baby shower gift because they were nutrition, pain relief, and entertainment all in one!! And for all the bad reviewers...all you have to do is wash them out after use instead of letting the fruit crust on them in the sink and you won't have any problem! It's really not rocket science.

My baby loves to just chew on the handle, so it’s been great for teething. As far as putting food in it, I actually found it to be too messy and more of a hassle than anything else. The mesh traps food and you have to be meticulous to get all of the food in all the nooks and crannies off, which can be tricky. I gave it a full 5 star rating because anything that calms a teething baby is a win in my book, but again, I just handed it to my little guy and there was no need to put any snack or ice in it, he took to it right away ( the handle has a nice rubbery feel that he loved and was easy for him to grasp)

These things are great gave my son (5 months) his first treat in them this morning and he absolutely loved using them. He had no problem holding on to it, getting it into his mouth or keeping it in his mouth. We did strawberry and avocado ..separately of course. He definitely like the avocado better. these things are great, I can't wait to see what else I can use in them!

1. put fruit inside it and let the baby suck the sweet water out of it, babies love it. 2. good idea. this can allow the baby enjoy the fruit without being chocked. 3. wash it frequently 4. if the fruit stays inside for over one hour, better change new ones 5. didn't notice discoloration of it yet

Just used these for the first time today and I'm a fan. My 6.5 month old is, too. I put a slice of apple in one and let him go to town. This little device is easy for him to hold and gnaw on and I don't have to worry about him choking.

I love these and so does my 9 month old. We have been using them since he was about 6 months old so he can chew on fresh fruits and vegetables and even meat (chicken or turkey only so far). I like that he gets to practice chewing (though there is plenty of sucking) without me having to worry that he will choke. I've used cherries, grapes, cucumbers, apples, pears, plums, apricots, chicken, and turkey. He has loved it all (except the one time I tried mango. Go figure.) I know some people complain that these are hard to clean, but I haven't had a problem. I just dump the skins or "leftovers" in the trash and throw it in the with the baby dishes and it comes out clean. I wouldn't recommend using the dishwasher to clean these. Hand washing is probably the easiest and most effective method of cleaning these. I'm tempted to buy a couple more.

This is the 3rd set of these I have been through. Each new grandchild gets a set of these when they start teething. I take bananas out of the peel and put them in a ziploc freezer bag and put it in the freezer. Whenever they act like they are hurting I chip some of the frozen banana out of the bag and stuff the feeder full. The baby loves it and it helps with the pain. Also good for them. I read some other people say they are hard to open. Not to me they aren't. Just squeeze the two tabs together on the other side from the hings and it opens right up. Happy with the price and product. Love the bright colors too!

I bought these for my 6 month old and can NOT believe how much better teething is going! After the frustration of hurting my fingers trying to get it open, we played with all kinds of frozen fruits and veggies. He loves this! As soon as it comes out he gets excited and grabs it out of my hand to suck and bite on it. The left over in the mesh we fine grind and spoon feed him with. THIS IS A LIFESAVOR FOR PARENTS! just a small word of caution... Berry juice stains... BERRY JUICE STAINS! So please put your lil' one in a bib or just a diaper. P.S. Dogs unfortunately like these too... :( ( We are on the second one already )!

My baby loves feeding herself with these. She prefers this to being spoon fed. She can grib the handle really well with one hand. She also will grib the mesh part and squeeze the food into her mouth. It is so messy but she is so happy. For reference we didn't try this with her till she was 6 months.

These are great. They worked for my daughter when she was teething and I am using them again for my son! This is what I whip out when he gets fussy...typically around 4-5:00 is his fussy time and when he is teething and voila...I have a happy, entertained baby. I put frozen fruit in them to soothe his gums. For an even happier baby...and momma...I put him in his little swing outside which has a tray on it and give him this to munch on and I have at least 15-20 minutes of peace!! I always make sure to rinse it right away then place in dishwasher or I soak it right away in soapy water for a bit then hand wash it. Its also great to try new flavors but I mostly use it as a teething soother.
