Any one that uses a weedeater knows how hard it is to keep these caps from getting chipped or broken when you have to use around concrete or brick. Everyone needs a replacement or two just in case.

Fits B&D CST 1000 just right.

I have an ancient CST 1000, which I bought at the B&D outlet store in Kittery, Maine 15 or more years ago. It still works like new, but the spool cap finally broke after many years of arduous service. Luckily, Amazon had the spare part, for a mere $4.80. It took less than a minute to install, and I immediately edged my driveway. I can now say that the B&D RC-100-P Replacement Spool Cap fits the CST 1000 just right. Before I go, some reviewers say the spool caps only last a few hours. Mine lasted 15 years. Why? I never "bump" my edger because it feeds twine automatically, unlike some edgers. If you are breaking spool caps by bumping the unit against pavement, you should stop bumping and patiently wait for the twine to feed. Just my two cents...

OEM replacment for Black n Decker Weed Trimmer

Saved me from buying a new Weed Trimmer. My mistake, and didn't make sure the cap was on tight, fired up the weed trimmer and the cap went flying. Of course it broke when it hit the driveway. Looked online for a cap replacement, and got this. Back in running order in no time.

Good as new w/ These parts

Perfect fit for our Black & Decker GrassHog XP weed eater! After a couple of years, parts started to wear out and break which made it really frustrating to weed eat! We ordered new parts and received them with in a couples of days and now it works good as new!

It works on LST 136!!

I have a nice LST 136 cordless trimmer and the spool cap became unreliable -- it would periodically just fall off, sometimes when the trimmer was idle, and once when the trimmer was running. I was hoping that this part would fit my trimmer even though my model number was not listed. This part DOES fit the LST 136 perfectly, so I wanted to post a review in case anyone else was wondering the same thing.

Easy repair

I was able to repair my weed whacker myself..I bought an extra since they are so reasonable. It seems even heavier than the original so maybe will last longer. They tend to wear out if you accidentally hit pavement or stones with it while running..so makes sense to have extras on hand

Works great

This cap does the job it's designed to do. When I couldn't find one in stock at the local Home Improvement store, I tried using another brand's cap. The slight difference in size and design prevented the line spool from advancing properly, even though the cap was essentially the same size. This replacement cap works perfectly.

Fits BLACK+DECKER LCC420 20V Lithium Ion String Trimmer

This fits our BLACK+DECKER LCC420 20V Lithium Ion String Trimmer just fine. Works perfect. Our original broke after one year and we needed a replacement. I wasn't sure this was the correct part, but it is, in case anyone else has the same model.

fits just like the old ones

was going to junk my old trimmer, but had three good battery's, Purchased another via ext cord, now I keep both, use the old battery power one for quick cuts for miss spots! the caps are interchangeable between both Black-Deckers trimmers...
