Easy, great protection for little hands
I'm giving this 5 stars because even though it wasn't big enough to hold our dish network plug, it was easy to install and it looks great. It is huge by the way, much bigger than I expected. All you do is take the existing cover off, put this one on and then the large cover clicks onto the top. You can wrap extra cord around a section on the inside of the base. Although it wouldn't hold our big plug in, I would expect it would hold most sizes. Great protection for little hands! I try to be very helpful in my reviews, if this was helpful to you please click yes, thank you!

God Bless You Safety 1st
I work in a daycare as the one year old teacher. I tried everything imaginable to keep the kids from pulling out the little plastic plug in covers. I put tape over the outlet - they peeled it right off. I put furniture in front of it - they moved it. My job had effectively been changed from teacher to outlet guard and I was losing my mind. I finally decided enough was enough and took to Amazon to find ANYTHING to keep those tiny fingers away from the outlet. I read reviews and decided on the Safety 1st and thank God that I did. I've had this cover for almost two months now and I would not get rid of it if you paid me. The best part is it lets you have things plugged in while the cover is on. AND it makes it almost impossible for prying fingers to unplug it.

Great Safety cover
Very happy with this especially for the price. We have a large charging box to plug in the alarm system and it sticks out into a high traffic area. This covers it and doesn't look bad either. We had to keep telling our son not to touch the plug, but now we don't have to worry about it... he really isn't interested in it any more now that it has this cover it. Highly suggest and will probably purchase more.

He liked pulling on the telephone wires and was always tempted ...
I bought this for my nephew who's starting to crawl. He liked pulling on the telephone wires and was always tempted whenever he'd see them. We have the old type of outlets that have the screw in the middle. I pulled the screw out and replaced my old cover with this one. I screwed it in and it was good to go. I don't think the cover is hard to remove, but for a child it is. The cover actually looks good and it looks much cleaner, so I think I will leave them even after my nephew grows up. In the meantime, I will be ordering more.

Easy to use. Does the job well! Safety first.
Great concept. For the most part very easy to use. A child will not get it off. Good stuff all around. Some minor cons...it was difficult getting a thick power strip cord cover through the slot. Also, it is not a bright white, it is an off-white color which makes it kind of dirty looking but I am assuming it is that color because it is paintable. I gotta break out my can of paint that matches the color of the wall and then I will really like how it blends in. If you are unsure, I would purchase one and try it out (get it as an Add-on item, it's cheaper that way). [I bought 3 and then bought 1 more for my house.]

Made my life much easier.
Living with a toddler isn't easy. If you don't know that yet you will soon. A toddler is like a scientist with no fear and a similar--but different language. The difference being: when you say "no" that means "do exactly what you're about to do, with a smile." That's what I'm dealing with. So many timeouts and explanations and bribes (yes bribes) seem to be fruitless so far. Our 2 year old son is fascinated with outlets and fans. If a fan is off, he wants it on. If it's on, he wants it off. It never ends. He unplugs the fan and plugs it back in when he gets even a second of a chance. I've been persistent with keeping him away from them, and was hoping he would just forget after a day or two. This has gone on for about a month now. I don't know why he's so obsessed with fans and it's nothing else. So it got to the point I would hide the fans and not use them. I would put them up in the closet when he wasn't looking. Whenever he went into a room he would just say fan over and over. The problem is were on the second floor apartment and it's been hot without air conditioning. So we really need the fans right now. So if he doesn't listen and doesn't forget, and I can't remove the problem... I have to make it impossible for him to unplug them. Regular outlet covers work great for outlets that aren't being used. I had no idea they had covers that work outlets being used! I'm so happy I found this!!!! I am so so so so so happy I found this!!!! I installed them today and they are a breeze to install. Our son can't get into it and he can't pull out the cord. The cover is simple enough to remove for adults without being annoying. That's huge for me.because we tend to move stuff around a lot. This outlet cover will not work with every outlet and every plug in you have. There's limited amount of space on the inside. And as I've shown in the photos, the cord needs to be thin enough to pin in the two slots provided. This won't work for any of the power strips I own. Which isn't a bad thing because it kinda defeats the purpose. I just can't say how much this has improved my life. It's a major deterrent. I watched him approach it the first time and after two good pulls he gave up. He hasn't been back since. Not to say he still doesn't mess with the fans. He knows how to use the on/off switch. But this is much less frustrating because I'm not worried about him hurting himself anymore. After seeing how well they are doing today, I just now bought a bunch more to be used with all the outlets we frequently use. There were other outlet covers that were higher quality, but the price was rediculous. Over 10$ for just one. I'll stick with these.

There were a few posters who gave this a bad review and I have no idea why
There were a few posters who gave this a bad review and I have no idea why. The inside of the cover replaces the outlet cover on you wall now and then there is an outside cover that clips on with two clips,(one on either side)..We got two of these to baby proof the living room. They work great, the ones we have have stood up against an insanely strong 15 month old whos sole mission in life seems to be destroying everything in his path. It takes me two hands to un-clip the front piece so I can plug something in. Certainly not something baby J is going to be doing anytime soon. We will be buying more for the other rooms, It makes me feel better knowing he cant get into the outlets.

Great product
I love this. I’m going to purchase at least one more. Pros: -Super easy to install, screws on then top piece clicks over plug - Feels very secure, I don’t think my kids can figure out how to remove for while - Blends in well, looks nice in room. Clean look Cons: -If you have a large plug it won’t fit overtop, I have one that is slightly larger and it does fit but some will not -If you don’t want to use it you have to unscrew from wall to switch out, not really issue for us because we’ll keep on wall for at least year. - little difficult to unplug something if you’re switching stuff out frequently, but that’s the purpose

$5 Lifesaver and Easy to Install
This product is a $5 lifesaver. I bought this to keep my child from pulling the cords out of the outlet. Who wants 120V running through their toddler!??!? I'll be buying many more. All you have to do to install is remove your plug cover plate, replace with the cover provided (make sure it is upright), plug in your cord(s) and snap the cover on! It took me about 45 seconds to install my first one. I would strongly recommend this as a safety or a cosmetic product.

Works great!!
I love these things! I put them all over my house on every outlet that had something plugged in and it has withstood my daughters wrath. I will say, it cannot handle phone charges so we now charge our phones on the counter. It can accommodate laptop cords, drill battery charger cords, and all other standard cords but I don't think it would be able to handle a thick surge protector cord. It's very easy to install. The only request that I have for the company is that they start making these in white. I was only able to find these in an off-white which isn't a deal breaker but whenever I look at them I think of diabetic shoes. Other than that, these definitely give me peace of mind while my daughter is walking around the house.
