Holds a lot of wood
We are using the rack to store presto logs. We stacked the logs above the handles and the rack held up fine. The handles wanted to bow out because of the excess weight, so we added a ratchet strap around it to stabilize it. We have since removed the strap one the logs got below the handles. We also added wood slats at the bottom to hold the presto logs in place, but that is probably not needed if you use regular logs.

Good wood rack
Was looking for a smaller wood rack for the winter and so far this has been great. I ended up buying a cover for it as well to avoid the wood getting wet in snow and rain (worth the money to do that). It was fairly easy to put together and wood stacks right on it. If you don't have a lot of wood on it and get a really windy day, it can blow over. Make sure you keep it stacked or put something heavy on it.

does what it's supposed to
I was able to put this together very quickly and load it with wood. I've got wood stacked all the way to the top and it's supporting the weight just fine. I've got it covered with a tarp in the back yard and it's doing just fine. Definitely what I needed and glad I bought it. UPDATE: Just wanted to say that this has been sitting out in the back yard (loosely covered with a tarp)through harsh winters and a couple of flood level downpours and it's still standing strong.

Very sturdy, good quality and well made
The Panacea Deluxe Outdoor Log Rack is a very sturdy, 4' wide, 4' high and 14" deep. We order a cord or two of wood every winter season and stack it away from the house. However, when it is snowing outside, trekking out to the wood pile becomes a rock-paper-scissors battle in my family to see who will bring in the next load. I bought this holder to stack wood in my garage before storms or family nights in so I wouldn't have to trek outside in the cold and snow to feed our fireplace. When the box arrived, it was quite heavy, which speaks to its quality. The assembly instructions are practically not needed, as it is so simple to put together. Once together, the entire holder is very sturdy. The depth of the holder is perfect for the pre-split wood we buy. While it does stand 4' tall, the total stacking height is a bit less, as the bottom stands ~4" off the ground for proper ventilation. The price we paid (with shipping) was very reasonable (~$50), so make sure you shop around, as some of the places sell the actual rack at a good price but then gouge you with shipping fees. Overall, I recommend this rack to hold a small amount of wood.

Easy to set up and sturdy
I debated just building my own firewood rack out of black iron pipe, but the price on this was too good to pass up, and it saved me a trip to the hardware store. Took all of 5 min to put together using the included nuts and bolts. FYI, they are 1/2", just to save you some time looking for the correct size socket (helps to really tighten everything down). The stand is heavy duty and extremely sturdy. including a picture for reference (note that the cover does NOT come with it, that was a separate purchase). I may add a supporting crossbar along the very top, but it's likely not needed. I'll know more once I have it loaded up with wood. Overall though, very happy with the build and quality.

No issues with mine...
There have been several negative reviews recently, so I wanted to post that I just received mine yesterday (12/12/2013) and had no problems with it. All hardware was present. All holes were punched through (a couple still had the punched piece "hanging" in the hole, but I just bent them over and out of the way). The holes lined up between the mating parts. The holes are not oversized much versus the diameter of the bolts, so it may take a little wiggiling to get the screws inserted, but nothing serious. A couple tips: 1. Insert both bolts in each joint before tightening them. Probably obvious to most, but maybe not all. 2. Tighten the bottom nut first - this seems to help to keep it square. The upper bolt is near the curved part of the bottom brace, and tightening that first tended to cause the ends to roll inward instead of being straight up-and-down. Assembly was quick and pretty easy - 8 bolts, 8 nuts, and 8 plastic end caps (one of which was slightly damaged, but still inserted fine). Using pliers and a socket wrench to tighten the bolts, I ended up with a very sturdy, square, and level unit. Loaded it with firewwod with no issues. Paint finish appears to be very good. Keeping mine in the garage, so finish should not be an issue for me. I would recommend this product.

I’d put chase this brand vs others that look the same.
I purchased two sets. There seem to be a lot of duplicates on amazon. These tubes were thicker than an earlier purchase. Holes aligned enough to assemble. There was some scratches on a tube in one set but I’m okay with that as this is only a 3-5 year solution. If it bothered me or someone you can also touch it up to seal it. Careful when opening the bags. They’re taped and one set exploded a little and I had to go hunting for my nuts. A better product than my earlier purchase and I’m happy with it.

Couldn't be more pleased
This is an extraordinary product. It exceeds my expectations. First of all, it was easy to assemble. I didn't even have to look at the instructions. It took less than 15 minutes. After assembling, I did glance at the instructions (one page) and note that they left off a depiction of the straight 12" pieces. These go between the end legs, the same direction as the wood will be placed, to prevent the legs from spreading. The piping of the rack is solid and a nice thick diameter, with rubber feet on the ends that will be on the ground/floor. The uprights are sturdy and do not move and the design is elegant in its simplicity. It is about 4 feet long and 4 feet high, the perfect size for my outdoor chimnea, which we use during winter when we have cookouts in southern California where nights get a bit chilly but it never gets cold. At present I'm using left over construction wood, 2 x 4s, 2 x 6s, 4 x 4s, etc., and a few of the "Firelogs" that are about the size of 4 x 4s, and the rack keeps the wood off the ground and away from the wall. It looks great in its black powder coating and is very functionally efficient.

Great Rack!
Coudn't resist the title, sorry. This log rack works great. It was very easy to assemble and is incredibly sturdy. Nice and compact to fit in smaller spaces, much less time I need to spend outdoors in the cold. The only point of caution I have is that the bottom of the rack is spaced the same as the sides, you have to be a little careful putting the bottom layer of wood pieces on so they don't fall through. Would strongly recommend!

Good log rack.
This log stand mett my expectations - and appears to be made of a quality material. It was easy to assemble. After pouring a small cement slab - I put the the rack on the slab. The rack did tilt to the side a slight bit - but that was because I over filled the rack with logs. I am happy with the rack.
