Perfect size for a 7yr old

For the price and the age of my daughter this desk is perfect! We bought this as a birthday gift for our 6yr old who was turning 7 and it is the perfect height for her. I would say after about 9-10yrs old the desk is too small. But if you are looking for a child from around 4-9 this would be my pick!!

Perfect for Elementary School Children

We bought this for our daughter in 2nd grade. It was the perfect size for her. Not too small, not too large. The bonus cubbies and shelving were used to hold baskets of crayons, markers, etc. The wood was sturdy and there was no wobbling at all to the desk or the chair. The only problem with the white is that is shows all the marker stains that leaked through various art projects and homework. I was able to put the desk and chair together by myself, with no help from my husband. It took me about an hour.

Great desk for our seven year old son!

Love this desk!! My son is turning 7 and he asked for a desk for homework and drawing. I love the size it's going to last him awhile. Very sturdy. Took my husband about 45 minutes to assemble. We upgraded the plain wood drawer pull but otherwise super satisfied with this desk!

Great investment for first grader

Perfect for our first grader...could use a few more drawers....very nice finish and sturdy construction...no problem assembling it with basic tools. I'd suggest a desk blotter since she did get marker on the desk which we are not able to remove because of fear of ruining the finish

Perfect for children.

I bought this for my 6 year old’s birthday last year and it was perfect. It’s a great size for a child. Assembly took a little over an hour by myself and was fairly easy. My kid loves it.

A great little desk- perfect for my 8 year old

This is a nice set, the price was right because you not only get the desk & hutch but the chair too. It is a mid-size set so I told my daughter to stop growing, but I'd say she will probably not outgrow it until she is a teenager. This works for now, and it doesn't take up too much space. It was not hard to put together compared to some furniture we've assembled. I would recommend for children from about 6-12 years old.

Great desk for the young scholar

We bought this for our tall seven-year old and it is an excellent fit. It was not difficult to assemble and it is very sturdy and the finish is solid - it won't peel off with an accidental piece of tape or scratch. We have a similar set that is in espresso and love it. The kids spill stuff on it and stick things to it and it is still in good condition. This is a big sturdy desk and we highly recommend it.

Perfect Little Writing Desk

Purchased for my (petite) 7 year old daughter. Perfect size for her. She loves to have her own space. I would say this will work for a couple more years until she outgrows it. It is a solid piece of furniture, assembled by Dad and son in about half hour. Great price for desk and chair

beautiful desk at a great price!

I bought this desk for my 6year old son so he could do his homework in his room instead of being distracted at the kitchen table. It is a good size and fit into his room well. It arrived in perfect condition on time, and the assembly instructions were excellent. I put it together by myself in under an hour. We did change the knob (the knob it came with was a simple wooden knob. Not horrible, but for a couple of dollars at the hardware store you can get a beautiful knob.) I have sat in the chair on many occasions and it is very sturdy even for adults. I highly reccommend this desk and chair set. You cannot find a better quality desk AND chair for this price!

Great Product

I purchased this desk set for my 6 year old who loves to play school and had outgrown her toddler table. I also wanted something that would last into her tween years for homework and such. It is the perfect size for her and for her room. The quality is really nice and it was was really simple to put together. There is no cheap cardboard backing for the hutch - it's all wood or composite and is very sturdy. Overall, a really great desk. She fits well into it now and I know it'll last for several years.
